Went there for a spontaneous dive. Cute little dive shop with nice atmosphere. Felt very welcome and the service was great. French speaking is a plus since everyone there seems to be french(-canadian) but they all tried there best to speak English to me and translate everything. Good dive, nice experience. Big recommendation :)

Great dive shop with an awesome staff. My daughter was open water certified, and I got my advanced open water. This operation is very safe and doesn’t cut corners. Our whole family enjoyed. Will definitely come back to Grand Bleu on our next Roatan trip.

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Bleu Diving! It truly is quite the bang for your buck -- you get world class diving for an extremely reasonable price. The staff was so friendly and engaging. We had a divemaster and a master-in-training on every dive and there was never more than 4 recreational divers (and sometimes even less!). They basically provided us with a private guide every dive. The night dive is incredible! I won't spoil it by telling you what happens, but it was truly a magical experience. The accomodations were spotless upon our arrival. The kitchen is set up for all your cooking needs during your stay. And a comfy porch/balcony was a great place to relax each evening.

What a gem of a diving center. Me and my husband we felt so welcomed, relaxed and safe with these fantastic guys. We did a few fun dives and our Advanced OW and had a blast. Best tropical diving experience I've ever had. Grand Bleu took us on last minute as a mutual friend connected us, and it was our very good fortune to have had the chance to dive with them. Patrice and company know the island well, and the dive sites. They supplied everything we needed, equipment was top notch, and they introduced us to the very best diving experience of our lives. I would recommend Grand Bleu to anyone in the diving community, as they share the very best of the things I have come to closely associate with diving: regard for safety, a zest for life, friendliness, and a great love for the wild places and marine life we dive to see. Whether you are looking for lodging while you dive, come fully outfitted or need some gear, are looking for a guide to the best sites, you will find it at Grand Bleu.

Hello I wanted to write a short review after my wonderful 12 day stay Grand Bleu Diving in Sandy Bay, Roatan I must first off say that it was one of the best diving experiences I’ve had so far 5 ⭐️ for: 🐠 Amazing 60 to 70 minutes dives every time 🐠 Full service prep for each dive! Your stuff is on the boat ready to go and they do all tank changes for you between dives ☺️ 🐠 Knowledgeable staff that make safety they’re #1 priority 🐠. Amazing teachers: my 15 y/o just got OW certified with Jennifer Leigh Ziehe and Adrien Tumia. He already has his buoyancy under control and most importantly is super comfortable under water. 🎏. The owner, Patrice Bellemare, is 100% invested in making sure you have a good time and are happy. He droves us to and back to the grocery store and taxied us to restaurants in the west end when we wanted and came to pick us up after 😊 🎏. They offer rooms with a shared kitchen and/or small appartements with kitchens. It’s simple and basic but all new, super clean and well maintained. We were two families and opted for the rooms with shared kitchen since we wanted a place where diving was the priority. An « Eat/dive/dive/eat/dive/repeat…» without all the fluff, so it was perfect. 🎏. The only small down side at Grand Bleu Diving is that you’re not directly on the water but behind the diving house/installation. This being said, the balconies are nice to sit outside and they are planning on making a bigger lounging shared space soon. 🎏. On the plus side, the Sunken Fish restaurant right next door has a big dock with a 2 floor covered lounge space we could go to chill with drinks and sometimes have dinner after. 🐢🐡 🧜🏻‍♀️. FINAL SCORE? My rating for Le Grand Bleu Diving in Sandy Bay Roatan is: 🧜🏻‍♀️ 5/5 for Diving 🧜🏻‍♀️ 5/5 for the staff, 🧜‍♂️. 4/5 for accommodations. I will change it to 5/5 when they finish building the lounge area and the new dock which should be very soon so I am told. FINAL WORD : This is the place for you if you want to dive, dive, dive! Not if you’re expecting alot of fluff 🧜🏻‍♀️

Personalized diving service according to your experience and what you would like to see. Small diving operation owned by an experienced diver suited for people that want to dive and explore. Brand new boats and small group of divers on the boat and per instructor. Brand new comfortable rooms on site makes it very convenient to stay and dive. Eating out adds to the experience of trying local food. Close to several restaurants and to West end makes it a perfect place for those that do not want the busy crowded resorts. If you want white sandy beach, pool or all inclusive deal that is not for you. We stayed one week and loved it. Patrice is very caring and made us feel home as he picked us up from the airport. You will have fresh fruit, water, coffee and ice tea at the shop between dives. We stayed at the studio with a kitchen but the building also has an outside kitchen for gathering or if you are staying at a room. Believe it or not if you need something just ask Patrice and he will make it happen(Pat taking us pillow shopping after mentioning the pillows could be better 😊). Adrien, Capi, Rudi, Marcia and all the rest of the crew are amazing and added to our fun, we miss everyone. We highly recommend and will be back if they will have us. 😁 We dove 24 dives in the week all running 70 minutes+. Poor Adrien 😉
