What an amazing tour. Everything was great. The food was delicious and served on nice plates. The boat was spacious and comfortable and the snorkeling spots capitan Edison have chosen for us were beautiful. The reef was so vibrant and the sea life around the coral was amazing. We really enjoyed the upper deck covered by comfortable cousins and the service aboard. Next time we are back to Roatan we will book the Barbareta and Pigeon cays tour with you guys. I strongly recommend Blue Reef Explorers.Great boat, Amazing service.

We had a wonderful private charter day with Blue Reef Explorers. The crew is very professional and nice, they spoiled us from the moment we get aboard. The boat is clean, spacious and very comfortable.  We really enjoyed the upper deck covered by cushions, the food and the ron ponche.Snorkeling was phenomenal and we appreciate the short video they gave us as a memory of the tour.Thank you guys for the great experience, you made our vacation in Roatan even better. Highest recommendations for Blue Reef Explorers! Book with them and thank yourself later! The highlight of our (already amazing) trip was snorkeling with Blue Reef Explorers. Booking was a breeze, the staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they provided absolutely everything we needed for a snorkeling cruise - including all snorkeling gear, noodles, snacks, drinks, etc. In our 4 hour cruise, we visited two different snorkeling locations. Each of which had endless amounts of marine beauty. We saw unbelievable coral gardens, a field of giant sea stars, large conches, countless parrot fish, angelfish, rays, barracuda, spotted trunkfish, squirrelfish, trumpetfish, burr fish, butterfly fish, nurse shark, and the list goes on. They also arranged to have lunch ready and waiting for when we arrived back at shore at the charming boutique hotel, Puerta Azul. Not only did Blue Reef Explorers provide excellent services for the snorkeling and boating, they even sent us a personalized video of our fun and sights the following day. We will cherish the memories of our trip forever thanks to Blue Reef Explorers!

Our family of 10 reserved a private charter to go snorkeling with Antonio and his captain, Edison and his crew mate(I can't remember his name) aboard the fabulous Emily. We were not disappointed in our decision and ultimately turned our 3 hour trip into a 4 hour trip. To start, we were met at the peer by a private driver in a van. He was holding a sign with our name and all of us traveled together. Upon arrival, we were led through the plush, scenic grounds of Puerto Azul. This is a small hotel(looks Heavenly). We were led down a beautiful path to a private dock. Not a soul around but us, which was a lovely reprieve from our crowded cruise. We boarded the stunning Emily. We immediately noticed how well-maintained the vessel was! Cushioned seats, shade covered, a bathroom for the ladies. There was an open bar of Tequila punch, local beer, sodas, and water. Antonio served us fresh fruit and banana bread. Antonio was a perfect guide! Well-educated in the reefs, very friendly and sociable. He got in the water with us at every stop and made a video of our excursion. It was our niece's birthday so it was so nice to have him do that for her/us(without asking). We stopped first at the west point of Roatan. The water was calm. The reef was so beautiful and we saw an amazing variety of the sealife species. Barracuda, sting rays, starfish, Dori fish lol, and so many more. There was an abundance of beautiful corral of various types. The water was so clear and refreshing, too. Perfect temperature for the Caribbean sun! I would highly recommend Blue Reef Explorers and it's 3-man crew! This is my favorite of many snorkeling trips! I will definitely contact him again going forward.

My boyfriend and I went on an amazing excursion with Antonio. We took our own private excursion around the island. Antonio was so friendly and knowledgeable about the island. He also was very patient and helpful with me because I am a novice snorkeler. They took us to amazing spots to snorkel that I have never seen before. We also just had an amazing time on the boat with our captain Edison. Antonio also made us a video of our excursion so we can have a memory of our amazing time at Roatan. Great experience from the beginning email interactions back home till the day of the actual tour. Antonio called us early on the day of r as it was meant to be rainy with an option for the next day but it was meant to be windier so we stayed with the original plan. Despite the rain we had a fabulous day!! What's a little rain when you're already wet marveling at the awesome beauty of the reefs. First snorkel stop was one of his favorites and we spent quite a long time there viewing the soft coral. Afterwards was a prepared lunch, he took into account that my wife was vegetarian and we had a tasty cold pasta dish with fruits and drinks. The second snorkel stop was close to West End and the hard coral trench. His excitement was contagious as he explained everything to us, and we also shared some good stories to share with captain Edison. Both were very engaging from beginning to end. We were staying in Lawson Rock and they were kind enough to pick us up and drop us off from that dock making it so convenient for us. Fantastic.... it's the little things like that that made the day so memorable for us!!

We just stayed 10 days at Puerta Azul in Roatan and they partner with Blue Reef Explorers for excursions. We did two trips with them, a 3 hour snorkel to the West side of the island and a 4 hour snorkel to the East side of the island. Our captain Edison and guide Antonio could not have been better! We had a wonderful time on both trips. The weather wasn't great either morning, and they delayed both trips without any issue so that we could get the most out of our swims. The boat is great and had all the equipment we could need. My mask that I brought from home was leaking because of my full beard and they were very accommodating to help me minimize leaks so I could enjoy my swim. Antonio even brought his go pro and sent us a video of us swimming for no extra cost! So convenient, being able to leave straight from Puerta Azul (which was the most wonderful boutique hotel and couldn't recommend enough) and Edison and Antonio just made the stay even better!

Blue Reef Explorers, Antonio, and all of his teammates will provide a fantastic experience while fulfilling expectations (which mine are rather high & unrealistic). For us; a fulfilling combination of relaxing & exciting. professional & personal. fun, informative & memorable. Antonio & Edison are Stewards of the environment, with commitment to protecting the marine biodiversity. Having them reduces potential stress & burden by having buddies; We love taking pictures, yet at times can be distract from the experience. And there's so much to see!!! I truly appreciated knowing that Antonio had my back to get get shots that allowed me to be present. Plus, he is a renowned photographer ;) Captain Edison embodies everything everyone could want behind the wheel. All you need to do is just show up, all will be provided :)
