My family of 5 stayed here last month and it was excellent. Rooms were clean and well equipped, hotel restaurant was excellent and the staff without exception was friendly and helpful. Better still, this hotel is located right next to the water and has great sunsets. Also good is that it's on the edge of the street with all the bars and restaurants and scuba shops, so everything is in very easy walking distance. The best beach bar in town is right next door, so be sure to stop in for a drink. We felt safe the entire time.

The rooms and hotel have a very contemporary design and make the hotel and rooms very appealing. It also has access to a lot of eateries in its central location. My favorite part of our stay was the restaurant upstairs and the wonderful service we received from Noel. The service from the rest of the staff was underwhelming. They were dismissive and seemed bothered by questions as they were quite short. One experience we had was we noticed on day 2 no housekeeping had came so we requested a change of towels (no need to change sheets or do a full clean). We were out all day and came back and noticed it hadn’t been done. We asked again and waited. They still weren’t brought. Finally after another reminder they brought the towels an hour later. Out dehumidifier was also full and needed to be changed within a few hours of checking in and was never emptied during our 4 days there. I really wanted to love this hotel because of its beauty but I wouldn’t recommend. Although Puerta Azul in Sandy Bay may not look as luxurious, the staff is much more attentive both at the desk and housekeeping and that is worth it. Another thing we weren’t expecting was how crowded the beach was. There were water taxis that came in and out and several people who used the hotel section of the beach which made it very loud (music playing, beer cans scattered, lots of children jumping from the dock). I realize on arrival it must be fully public. In the instagram, it is portrayed as a relaxing private retreat, but this was not the case. If you’re going to stay here, be sure to do so during the week and avoid Fri-Sun as these days were the most crowded. I would go elsewhere if you can until they’re able to fix their service and beachfront given their price range.

The Beach House is the type of place you don't want people to know about, because it's your "hidden gem" - but would be inexcusable to not compliment the wonderful staff, location, restaurant and hotel. The room was amazing. Perfect size as a boutique hotel, yet still has a great restaurant and bar - with gorgeous views - on site. If you are a "pool person" - try wading a few feet into the water and sitting on the sandy bottom - you are in the Caribbean after all, right?! We can't wait to return for another visit.

Location. Location. Location. What a great beach hotel. Everything about this place was wonderful. The open layout of this hotel made you feel like you were on a cozy private island. Guess what. That’s exactly what this place is. It is located in the heart of west bay and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Btw. The swim to the boat with the swing is much further than it looks. Bring a floatie or noodle from the hotel. Trust me.

This is a beautiful resort. All the staff is great except the one lady at the bar she is rude as hell. The food has a long wait time but worth the wait, we ate almost everything. Very safe, very clean and worth every penny. They even cooked the fish for us that we caught that day!

My wife and I spent our anniversary with the wonderful folks at the Beach House. They went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was spectacular. We'll definitely be back. Our room was beautiful, the food was great and the staff was incredible.

We vacationed in Roatan last month and stayed at The Beach House. What a wonderful location and hospitality!! Our room was a few steps from the water and the staff made our trip so memorable!! The restaurant on the second floor was amazing, we ended up eating there quite a bit. Also, I want to be sure to mention that the hotel emailed us several times in preparation of our trip to ensure we had the best experience. We can't wait to come back....highly recommend!!

Good location right on the beach. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Unfortunately room 1 was terrible. It was directly under the restaurant so you could hear every single chair or table movement. And then the restaurant would be open until midnight, and then they would start prep at 6 am where you hear every bang and cut. You would also hear the music from every early morning party boat at the nearby dock. I also didn't realize they could make sheets out of sand paper. The bed frame was also the noisiest bedframe in existence. You couldn't even flip over without it waking up my partner or vice versa. The cleaning staff was very nice and did a good job and respectful. Edit: the restaurant was crazy expensive for the quality as well. For the price it's a hard no from me until they fix up the rooms a bit.

This hotel is really beautiful. Such a great location. We had a great time. The front desk girl is so so sweet and helpful. The drivers are great. Henry is amazing. The food and drinks at the restaurant in wonderful. Just everything is great! BUT only thing I will mention in regards to service. The tall male bartender at the restaurant is kind of off. Not necessarily rude but definitely not the nicest around. But still highly recommend the hotel!

Our whole family stayed here for our fortieth anniversary, to do a vow renewal on the beach. Paola was wonderful, and made sure our event was absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and efficient, arranging transportation for all eighteen of us. Andromeda at the bar was awesome. She kept bringing extra cherries for my grandkids' drinks, which seemed to be a real high point of the vacation for them! The location cannot be beat. Right on the beach, within walking distance of so much good food and great activities. Thank you, Beach House, for making our anniversary a memorable one. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I just returned from a delightful trip to Roatan, Honduras where we volunteered in the dental clinic at Clinica Esperanza with our dear friends from Texas, Monte and Lynn. Just like last year, we stayed at The Beach House and had a great time! Everyone connected with this outstanding hotel are the Best! Alex and Moses drove us around and were punctual, happy, gracious and kind. Kathy at the front desk was really helpful in getting us checked in; and finding out about Catholic church services on Sunday. Henry welcomed us back and always seems almost honored to carry our bags. The restaurant is outstanding with very tasty meals and drinks -- breakfast, lunch and dinner. The waitresses Bonnie and Jeannie treat us like family with such warmth and love, and Noel is always eager to please. We were truly sad to say goodbye to those very special people! The accomodations are clean, modern, spacious and always smell so nice. The West End location is perfect with great shopping and restaurants just steps away. Monte and I had a blast snorkeling right outside our front door, and the sunsets are memorable. Gosh, everything is memorable about The Beach House and the wonderful people who work there. We will definitely be back!

Amazing tapas. I was blown away at the quality, presentation, and flavor. The steak and potatoes tapas with a Sunnyside up egg was 4oz. of perfectly cooked steak with cubed potatoes and sauce with each bite dipped in egg yoke. I want to bring this home to Alaska.

Our room was large and spotless. We had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the Caribbean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to multiple dive shops and restaurants. It's also very near the taxi area. The restaurant is lovely as well. There is also a private pier with seating and a small bar. The hotel is located very near to a larger bar with live music some nights, but the music is stopped or turned down early, usually by 9:30. I very much recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

This hotel is a Jewel in the Caribbean. Meets everything you would expect from a Boutique Hotel. The beach just outside our room is breathtaking. Great for DIVERS.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Having a beautiful beach footsteps away from my room was nice. I snorkled pretty much everyday right from the beach. Overall a very good hotel and if I go back to Roatan, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Beach House. All the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. Half moon bay is great because it's not as crowded and the boat traffic is minimal which makes for a very relaxing time. When we went on a few excursions, their driver was punctual, empathetic, and just a genuinely great dude. The restaurant bar staff was always friendly and willing to help. I highly recommend for a trip to Roatán!

Nice boutique hotel right on the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and dive shops, and they'll arrange island tours with their own bus service. USB-C charging ports bedside. Great dining room where guests come from all over the island. Highly recommended...

Love the new look! We got to try to new restaurant and the tacos are amazing. The homemade thick corn tortillas-my favorite. We had the shrimp and the veggie tacos, both amazing. So many great items and we need to come back for brunch. So impressed with all of the renovations and the view, is amazing as ever.

We stayed here for 11 days!! The hotel was very clean, well appointed in every way. The staff that includes everyone were amazing and so friendly and helpful. They offered excellent services from housekeeping to fabulous meals. The restaurant is open from 7 am to 9 pm serving fresh creative dishes every day!! Excellent location! We highly recommend the Beach House! Be sure and meet Henry!

We spent 7 nights at The Beach House on our first trip to Roatan a few weeks ago. Starting from when we booked our rooms, the hotel exceeded our expectations in every possible way. Our queries pre-arrival were always answered promptly. On arrival we had a smooth airport transfer and found ourselves in a room that was just beautiful. I'm told the building was recently renovated, and everything does look and feel great. The hotel has amazing views, a wonderful restaurant, and is in the heart of West End, close to numerous restaurants, stores, and dive shops (we were scuba diving every day). Everyone on staff at the hotel was helpful, friendly, patient, and polite; they made our stay truly enjoyable. Hotels really don't get much better than this!

My wife and I stayed at the Beach House for our honeymoon for over a week. Both Paola and Chiara were amazing since the moment we arrived. They were very attentive to details and always made sure we were taken care of. We experienced amazing hospitality from all the staff on a daily basis, including help with calling taxis, making reservations at local restaurants, plenty of references for places to eat or activities, along with very clean, comfortable rooms with plenty of light. We found the hotel restaurant to be one of the best in the entire West End (if not THE best!) Definitely recommend staying at this beautiful hotel with its great views and location!

I stayed here for a few days capturing a wedding. Me & my wife loved our stay and it’s such a beautiful hotel. Staff is truly amazing, and love to help when you have any questions or ask for recommendations on what to do on the island. I will be back with my wife again the future, one of my favorite vacations I’ve ever had! I wish I could give 6 starts!

We stumbled across this place while walking around the West End, and looking for a place to enjoy the sunset. Their bar area was super cool, clean, and cute. The breeze there was perfect, and the service matched. Their cocktails are truly some of the best I have ever had. This was a totally hidden gem.

A huge thank to Raquel, Henry, Alex and everyone at the bar and restaurant area. You guys are awesome ! Our stay at The Beach House was wonderful. The rooms look exactly like the pictures. Brand new everything and super clean. The perfect place to relax! Everyone is very nice and helpful. Thank you Raquel for being so informative, Alex for being our driver/guide, Henry for being so attentive and always asking if we needed drinks, food and etc. The Hotel has its own restaurant, but you are also close to many other delicious restaurants. The beach is steps away from your room. Overall, everything was amazing! See you next year guys ❤️

We stayed for 10 nights in 2 rooms. It was fabulous! We had rooms 4 & 5. Very clean, comfortable beds, air conditioning worked great. Henry was such a help getting us drinks and moving beach chairs, etc. The hotel is newly remodeled and beautiful. The beach was steps away and we spent a lot of time floating right in front of the hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful, front desk staff was awesome, getting us taxis and just all around great! Restaurant was good, loved the lobster risotto and the morning baleadas. We met the owners, very nice people. We would stay here again. One complaint is that we could use door mats to wipe sand off our feet before entering room. Second is that we had to leave!
