I’ve been all over the world and have eaten at the most expensive restaurants to food trucks and have never been told that I could not send back my food/drink if I did not like it! I ordered a rum punch that was watered down and wanted to switch it out for a margarita. The server acted like I asked him to perform open heart surgery. He even asked the Manager and the Manager said no, I had literally took a sip out of the drink. The seafood platter looked way better than it tasted and the seafood soup was meh…..Not impressed at all. Don’t believe the hype of this restaurant, definitely not a island gem!

A restaurant in the north of the United States would be hard pressed to offer such a dish, but you might come across it in Florida for a significant price increase.   If you find yourself on Roatan, you must do this.

Great Mariners vibe with kitschy beach decorations and it's actually on the beach with nice view of the ocean. We had the seafood soup, conch soup, wholefish tamale and lobster. We're a fan of the seafood soup, it's the best thing we had here. I would skip the lobster tail as those are frozen and overcook.

As you can see from the picture how dirty their salt shaker is. I'm not really sure what's in there and I don't want to know. Gross, if they can't keep a salt shaker clean I can't imagine how everything else is. All those reviews, I think they were bought. The food was 2/5 would not recommend. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere on the island.

Complete over charged. Be careful on the island. This is the second time this happened. Charged 9 dollars extra for butter to dip our crab in. Waiter brought out two. 75 dollar lunch turned into 140

I don't know why every taxi driver on the island recommends this place. We went for lunch and had a single-course meal and it took 90 minutes. I ordered grilled calamari and shrimp and received way over-cooked fried calamari and fried shrimp. The calamari were cut into fingernail sized chunks and cooked until there was no moisture left. No one else was impressed with their lunch either. One star is the lowest rating but I will give them a second star for the view of the water and the cold beer.

I would first start off with thanking our waiter Carlos, he went above and beyond making sure our needs were met, to the point of even carrying my 7 month old son while we dug into our meals and fanning him. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the flies but that’s not something you can really plan for specially if you are eating on the patio. Our food was delicious and over whelming to say the least. Carlos did warn us that they where huge portion dishes but we wanted to try them anyways. The recommended drinks where on point also the monkeylala! If I could eat here everyday I would. Thank you Carlos for such an awesome experience please ask for him.

Way too expensive, taxes not included in menu price 71 usd for lobster/crab and small shrimp. Food was just ok everything tasted the same, lobster, crab and shrimp in the same sauce all bunched together in the Platter,, very small lobster tail.. service was good. Nice view of the ocean.

The view from the porch is beautiful! This is a hidden gem that not a lot of people know about. We hired a cab and told them we wanted seafood and they recommended Gio’s. Best. Decision. Ever. We made sure to come back during our next cruise! The food is delicious! Our favorite is the platter with a lot of everything. My go to is the conch.

Such a cute restaurant right by the water, very private and with a nice ambiance. I ordered the king crab, one of the house's specialties. It comes with a small salad, baked potato, veggies and 2 garlic bread. Everything tasted delicious, although the king crab was not fresh, for sure it was previously frozen, but still tasty in a buttery sauce with parsley. The fresh lemonade was awesome!

Expected a whole lot more, given how much the locals recommended the place. Acceptable overpriced food and unfriendly staff in a typical Caribbean wooden venue.

Amazing food and owned by an amazing family. Definitely check this restaurant out, as well as their other on the island. I highly recommend the ceviche and fried fish! Delicious!

A little pricey and it may almost feels like a tourist trap at times but the staff was very attentive and the ambiance enjoyable. The food was pretty good. Would I return? Maybe, because it felt really pricey.

Get the shrimp pasta with half red sauce and half white sauce. Unreal! SO delicious!!! Great service, too. Love Gio's 💜
