We came on a cruise boat and picked this as our excursion. We were not disappointed. I try to travel responsibly, and here was an opportunity to support a place that is helping animals. For once, I felt comfortable getting some great pictures with animals on me. For no extra charge, our guide had toucans land on me, got a monkey to perch on my head, and let me pet and take pictures with a sloth! The butterfly area was a little underwhelming. I enjoyed the suspension bridge, and even my husband (who is not a fan of heights) managed it. It felt perfectly safe. They do have a little store with snacks, and a couple stands with souvenirs. Nobody was trying to get tips or upsell you on any additional experiences, though, which was nice. It seemed like a close-knit family of people who have kind of grown up there caring for the animals. I'd say to bring bug spray, but it's not safe for the animals. So wear protective clothing.

This place is a must-visit when in Roatan. Loved getting to interact with the animals and the friendliness of everyone working there. We want to specially recognize a young man named Noel. He was our guide while in the park. Noel is very knowledgeable, respectful, and has a great sense of humor. He definitely made the experience more memorable. 5/5 would visit again

One of the stops we made on our day tour. They also have ziplining. They have docile, free-roaming white faced capuchins and with a little snack from the tour guide you might get one to land on your shoulders ;). Cute experience. Loved the butterfly garden and the sloth was absolutely adorable. It's not very big. An hour or two max if you take your time. Our tour guide was a humorous young man, tip him well!

Mayan Edén Eco Park is one of the most complete animal parks in Roatán as it has a 7-line zip line for lovers of extreme challenges. It also has a variety of animals such as sloths, monkeys, macaws, toucans, deer, kinkajou, raccoons and much more. As well as being the only park that has a butterfly sanctuary, one of the most exciting things is that you can interact with all of these animals, since most of them are free in nature.

What a wonderful experience! The guides answered questions and explained about the animals and the plants. We had such a great time feeding the tucans and the monkeys, and getting to hold the sloths. We have many wonderful pictures of our adventure.

I booked a Roatan tour and this was one of the stops and honestly probably the best stops. We had a tour guide name Sandra and she was super knowledgeable, she taught us alot. It was cool to see the monkeys, butterflies, sloths, birds. Recommend checking it out!

Wonderful place to interact with monkeys and sloths. The guides are very knowledgeable and make your visit fun. I was wary at first about the monkeys but they are nice and soft as a kitten. The sloths are the absolute cutest animals in the world.

Amazing experience. The guide was wonderful. I'd never held a sloth before but always wanted to. The guide told us what to do or not do with each animal and kept an eye on everyone in our group to make sure everyone was staying safe.

MUST GO HERE!! Loved the sloths, toucans, monkeys. GO w 2K Adventures and ask for Ronnie or Shelby! Most animals roam free. Fernel was our guide and was excellent!

Nicely done small sanctuary up in the hills. Not many butterflies in the butterfly area. Monkeys, deer and birds. We had a lovely young lady show us around. Be cautious of the footing throughout if you aren't steady in your feet.

We are family of four with 2 girls ages 13 and 6. The team there was extra nice to us. There were 3 staff who took complete care of us with extra safety measures during zip lining. One staff accompanied my younger daughter on all the zipline rides. We had close encounter with the monkey and parrots. The place is beautiful. Our trip was during pandemic times and we were the only people there. It was $45 per person. Totally worth it and I highly recommend this to anyone.

Of all the touristy places in Roatan, this was by far the best. We paid $30 each. It was very educational. We were able to interact with the birds, monkeys, sloths and other animals. Highly recommend this!

This was the highlight of my trip. We held a sloth, parrots, and monkeys. My son and husband walked the suspension bridge (not me I'm terrified of heights.) The butterfly enclosure was fabulous. Our guide was knowledgeable, spoke wonderful English, and was so patient. The animal sanctuary wasn't huge but it was everything I wanted to do in one place. The small setting was perfect. This will be on the top of our list when we visit Roatan again!

Great experience! Our tour guide Jillian was knowledgeable and excited about the animals. The monkeys, macaws and sloth that we interacted with are free roaming animals. They are well taken care of.

Staff was excellent and their animals were very well treated, while also keeping patrons safe. Other facilities, we had heard their monkeys were biting, pulling hair, and stealing from patrons. This place had two particular monkeys, one the alpha male and the other they stated was the smartest of them all that they kept separate to keep patrons and other animals safe. All other animals were free to roam about in their natural habitat. We were simply observers. It was an amazing time!! Highly recommend!!!

This was an part of an excursion booked thru Royal caribbean cruises. It was a good time. Not fun to travel to but it was only a 20 minute ride from the port. We loved meeting and holding the monkeys, sloths and newborn baby kittens
