We have actually not yet stayed at the hotel, but this review is about the excellent service we have received from the Caribe Tesoro staff in planning our trip. Our plans changed due to flight cancellations and delays and the hotel was kind and patient and helpful in working with us to rearrange things. It is rare to be treated with such kindness and respect. We are already very happy with our hotel choice. Thanks to Victoria and the hotel staff for doing such an excellent job.

I was assisted by Victoria and Andrew and they were both extremely helpful and friendly. Victoria was welcoming and greeted me with a warm hello when I entered the lobby to check in. She offered suggestions for things to do on the beach and in the area. She represented the company extremely professional while providing friendly conversation.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! The food is wonderful, and it's a short walk to the beach where you can grab a cheap water taxi to West End! This is the perfect location if you want to be away from the big party scene to sleep but easy enough to get the the parties!

Very disappointed. First they kept the lobby so hot I could not spend anytime there. There were no amenities (no, clock, radio, glasses for the water they provided, phone, coffee maker). The room was very dated with cracked tiles, used furniture, patched walls, only one chair to sit on and just over all not as the photo shows. We stayed in the Oceana suite. I would to recommend and we will not stay again.

The pier bar/restaurant looked pretty cool. Only thing like it on the beach. Unfortunately the rest of the resort looked pretty beat up, and the pool isn't something I would have dared to swim in. Luckily the ocean is right there. Could really use some TLC and refurbishment. Look for recent visitor photos.

The place is in need of TLC! The pool is dirty and full of bacteria! The pool isn’t running, the slides have no water, rusty and nasty! The outside showers do not work so buckets of dirty water are laying around. The complimentary breakfast is misleading as most items are at an added charge! “Out of bacon” at breakfast ! There is no ice buckets, no fridge or microwave in rooms. The front desk has no knowledge of excursions and they are not hospitable! Our transportation provided by them that we paid for from the airport took a detour and picked up several resort employees on our way from a long day of travel. So unprofessional……. We travel often and this was a huge disappointment! Run down and out of date! Won’t be back! Would not recommend!

Great little suits with direct access to private beach side boardwalk/pool. Super friendly staff, made us feel right at home. Everything was clean and the tile work throughout the hotel was incredible! Highly recommend.

Booked 12 days 6 months in advance and showed up to being told we were given a smaller room the day of. Manager never came to talk to us. Gave us no solution and we were not updated ahead of time that they weren’t going to be able to have a room for us. Sat in the their office for 2 hours looking for another hotel the same day of. I would NOT recommend this place. The pool was not one you should get in. The room and hotel smells pretty strong of sewer for a few hours a day. There is lots of construction that starts at 7am. Breakfast and food is underwhelming. The towels and bath mats don’t smell like you would expect a hotel to do so. The bed was really uncomfortable and the tile in the bathroom was coming off so very easy to cute yourself if you don’t have shoes on. The staff is nice, yes. However, the manager isn’t very welcoming and didn’t like having to give a solution to a problem. Decent location, close to the beach but I’m sure you can find something where you can relax, further down the beach. Overall…stayed 2 weeks because everything else was booked and we weren’t getting our money back for 60-90 days.

Hard to believe it's been 5 years already. We absolutely loved our stay here. We came with our son and daughter in-law in the 3 bdrm suite by the pool. Lots of room and super comfortable for all of us. Staff was amazing and we made a few good friends while there. Even the security fellas were super nice and gave us some good ideas to look into. I can't say enough about the location steps to the water, beach, restaurants, shopping; super convenient. We will definitely be returning for a follow-up visit. I recommend you go and stay for a while, you to will become a fan.

Great place to stay in Roatan. Right off the beach, a nice pool for the kids with a swim up bar for adults. Good food, safe, clean, friendly staff.. I recommend staying here

Best Resort on the Island. Perfect spot, a little further down the beach from where the cruise ship guests visit. Quiet. Love the dock, to sit and read. And the pool is great to cool off.

Pros: - friendly staff, nice and attentive - staff very helpful during booking - AC in the rooms was amazing - close to main beach, but not directly on it, which was great for more privacy - beautiful dock into ocean and great ocean swim area - amazing snorkeling with reefs closeby - crabs in the pool (kinda fun) Cons: - not much furniture to lounge on around pool or water. Hard to find a peaceful/quiet spot - loud music playing most of afternoon and night around pool/ restaurant area, again hard to find a peaceful/quiet spot - sulfur smell throughout resort and room - active construction on site through the night - salt water coming out of shower and bathroom sink….. my friend was told by staff this is “normal” because of how their water well works. - towels and sheets did not smell good like you would expect at a hotel - water slide was a touch sketchy and caused scratches - when we checkin-in they gave us our rooms (2 rooms for 2 couples) and said that the shuttle would cost us $35 for our group of 4. The next day staff confirmed this and we signed for the charge of $35 for our group of 4 to take shuttle. 1hour before our shuttle time, staff told us cost is $35 per room and tried to charge both couples for this. We explained this is very unfair of them to do, and they removed the charge. - Breakfast was a bit underwhelming

Honestly, this place was incredible. It was so beautiful the rooms were clean & our rooms were perfect, the views were beyond beautiful! We loved the stay here, as others said it is a home away from home. The food was delicious, the drinks (especially the margaritas) were the best! Sean the bartender is the best! He makes you laugh and is super attentive! The pool is out favorite especially if you have kids! You see so many crabs 🦀 we loved it. The only thing I can say is some staff members seemed dull & not very welcoming. Most of them are so kind and sweet & others aren’t. The water to shower is not fully fresh and you can still taste salt in it. And lastly the food is amazing but be mindful you will be waiting 30min + for your food. However the good outweighs anything! I definitely recommended staying here!!! Beautiful place and we will be coming back to Hacienda Caribe Tesoro ❤️

If you are into a quiet place, near the sea, this is a good place. Small, not many guests. Local bar with limited local beers. Restaurant on site, near the pier, with limited menu. Food isnt that great. There is a pier with water taxi drop off. Quick walk to the beach.

We had a lovely quiet room by the car park. Breakfast on the deck was great, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the seating on the dock. Reliable wifi. The dive shop around to the right of the resort is excellent. The hotel made our stay in Roatan perfect.

Beautiful small hotel right on the water, with a pool and a restaurant right on the water. Awesome place, we had a great stay. We would definitely recommend it, and will be returning here in the future.

Such a cute place. Was in a great location on the beach and even has a separate swimming area out of the way for boats. And a slide! Loved the breakfast and the whole staff is so gracious! Had a lovely stay and we loved our room too :)

This hotel has so much potential. The pool is nice (although the sand around the salt water pool attracts alot of sand flies so thats a bit annoying). The room was clean and comfortable. However the staff need ALOT of work. The breakfast choices are very limited. During breakfast we were told we couldnt have a simple black coffee AND a juice? Even hostels offer free black coffee. The staff are very slow and dont quite understand what they are doing on shift. The worst part about our stay is when we were checking out and asked the staff how to get to sandy bay. They said a taxi is cheaper and will cost around 1 dollar or you can get a taxi boat for around 3 dollars. So we said ok a taxi is better if its cheaper so they called us one. When the taxi dropped us off he said 30 dollars please and when we explained that the hotel said it would be 1 per person he laughed and got very angry trying to steal our baggage. He called the hotel and they were all laughing down the phone. This is a ridiculous way to act. When i spoke to her she said that they did not tell us that. Now me and my boyfriend both heard her and we dont appreciate being laughed at or put in a situations where a taxi driver is trying to take our baggage if we dont pay an absolutely ridiculous amount of money for a 10 minute journey. In the end the owner from our new hostel came out and helped. I would not stay at this hotel again, purposely for the staff. Shame because it does have potential!
