Absolutely the best dive shop in Roatan and probably one of the best in the world. Tom and his team are fantastic! They are extremely organized and truly care about the experience you have. Incredibly personal, very safe, no huge groups, long dive times, and they always go the extra mile. If you're reading this just book with them already, you won't be sorry.

This was my 3rd time diving ( and staying) here. I love the dive center, Tom and Andrea made me feel very welcome from the first time I walked in, and now I feel like I'm visiting friends. Their dive masters have always been great as well. Helpful, friendly, very knowledgeable and they find great things to show us. The boat captains are very experienced, very nice about helping you into and out of the water. And they know how to avoid the worst of the bumps. I've gotten spoiled by the high level of attention ( gear on the boat and set up every morning, snacks and just getting off the boat with my small dry bag). Staying there is great as you just have to walk out your door and you're there. Already planning my next trip!

We loved this dive shop! Tom the owner is very well organized and it shows. All the gear is properly stored and cared for and everything important for diving gets written on “the board” which becomes your vacation guide for the time you are there! David and Franco were our dive instructors throughout the week and they were amazing. They made sure our gear was loaded on the boat and ready to go before we got on. Each were able to determine with the captain where we should dive based on weather patterns and diver wants. We felt safe with them each dive and trusted in their directions and skills while they did the same for us which was much appreciated! My husband and I even did a night dive with David and we loved it! Slowly searching for creatures of the night was just the adventure we were looking for. Also the boat captains were right there when we surfaced and were so helpful in loading back into the boat and offered clean drinking water and fruit between our morning dives. Our favorite part about Blue Planet was the small dive group sizes. We never felt like a random number vs. we all beacons a dive family throughout the week and even went to dinner together with our new dive friends that were from all over the world. We also loved how close the dive sites were, I think the longest we were on a boat was 15 min to get to a site as there are a plethora to choose from all nearby with various sites and difficultly levels. My favorite site was Canyon Coral - well at least this trip! Andrea and Zoe were super friendly too and even gave some of their favorite island spots for us to try which did not disappoint. Lastly, if you are lucky Pepper the welcoming dog will even bring you a stick to throw when you return from diving to rinse off.

Best dive shop we have ever been to. Franco did the open water certification dives with our two boys (ages 12 & 14) and then we did fun dives the rest of the week. Franco is so safe, warm, friendly and passionate. I have never felt so safe & comfortable and we saw incredible things at different sites each day. Franco's passion for the reef was incredible - we learned so much and had so much fun. We also had one day with Gretel and she was also wonderful. The groups are always small so each dive feels personalized. The boat captains are friendly and so helpful. The owner, Tom, is incredibly organized with excellent communication. He made the whole experience easy. It was truly fantastic.

My family and I spent the week of July 4th through July 8th, 2022, diving with Blue Planet Divers Roatan. All of us are experienced divers ranging from 8 years experience, Advanced Open Water, to 39 years experience, Instructor. The owner, Tom, and his instructor/divemasters Franco, Gretel, Logan and Becca were not only awesome at their job but also extremely pleasant to be around. Customer service was outstanding. The dive groups were small and customized to our level of experience. We also had a chance to observe them with beginners and students as well and I would highly recommend them. Tom also gave me a tour of his newly updated villas right on West Bay Beach. We did not stay on property this time, but we will next time!

Did my open water certification here, Excellent staff and location. My dive instructor Franco was really patient and knowledgeable and they showed us so much interesting ocean life on the dives! Highly recommended

Absolutely love Blue Planet. All the employees are the nicest people, and they take care of everything from A to Z during each dive. All you have to do is show up and enjoy the awesome beauty of Roatan. Nowhere better!

My family stayed with Tom and his staff for 11 days. The accommodations are excellent! We are not Divers, but we did take a snorkeling trip with Franco and Javier. They were so amazing! Tom and company made sure we had all we needed while we were there and have advice for different activities we weregoing to do. Tim gave a lot of advice for sea going adventures. His knowledge of the weather and sea were extremely helpful! This is a must stay when going to Roatan!

Best dive shop on the island!!! They have GoPros and flashlights for all divers we got to customize our dives! all crew and instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable about marine life and island life! If you want a fun safe place to dive go to blue planet divers!!!

Love love love! My friend and I got open water certified from Blue Planet! Tom was very thorough in explaining what we could expect from the course and the benefits of certification. Our instructor, Sara was amazing!! She made us feel so safe and at peace in the water (even when having to take off our masks underwater lol). She also made learning the material fun and showed us a ton of sea creatures on our dives. 10000/10 recommend diving with Blue Planet. And also the pineapple after dives was the sweetest, juiciest pineapple we’ve ever had. -Sam and Nikki
