This hotel was good, especially the buffet. The buffet's breakfast kinda sucked, but it was good at lunch and dinner. Also, this hotel lied. They said there's no wifi in the rooms, but my brother figured out how to get wifi in the rooms and it worked AND HES 11 LMAO

Worst all-inclusive resort I've ever stayed in. It started with them not booking our room correctly. We booked a 2-queen bedroom and they had us down for a 1 king bedroom. The room had a horrible mildew smell, we had no hot water for 5 days. There were roaches in the room, the bedding was very cheap, and the towels were like sandpaper. We were awakened every morning around 5:30 pm by maintenance walking around the resort with leaf blowers on full blast. The food did not taste good, I got sick from my stomach the first night after eating dinner. I was vomiting and had diarrhea all night. The all-inclusive bar only offered Miller High Life as their beer. They didn't offer any of their local beers. I ended up going out to eat & drink most of my stay, which was another expense. My entire stay I was suffering horribly from my allergies due to the mildew smell in the room. I had other friends that also booked there, and everyone had a horrible experience. We were all trying to find other hotels to stay in, we didn't care if our rooms were non-refundable. Unfortunately, everything in the area was booked. The only reason I give this place a one star is because I can't move forward with my post if I don't click on one. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We came here as part of a day tour where the tour company promised to bring us to the beach for a set price per person. However once we got to the “beach” it ended up being inside this resort where we had to pay another $20 per person to get in. I’m almost certain this resort pays those tour guides a cut to bring in unsuspecting tourists. The beach was beautiful though, one of the nicest I’ve been to. The facilities are clean and there is lots of seating. Just be mindful there are lots of vendors who will try to sell you various food, services, and excursions

Came here during a cruise, our taxi driver encouraged us to try here (after the fact, we realized he must get a kickback because he has the contact info for the boat drivers parked on the beach). Felt very scammy, we were originally told we were going to a free public beach, which then turned into $20 per person. Couldn’t even enjoy the water with my kids without vendors harassing us. There was a family building a sand castle on the beach and they were approached no less than 10 times while trying to build. The snorkel tour we went on was great and a great price, but other than that I wouldn’t ever recommend this place. Will do more research before the next time we return here.

Disappointed of this all inclusive. The food was terrible, we needed to eat outside the hotel and spend extra money since the food was really bad, first day I tried pasta because it was the only thing left and it was undercooked. They also had pizza and it was terrible, mainly chicken and pork the rest of the time, if you could get there on time to get something. We used to get there between one or one and a half hour before the end of the meal and it was always very bad. The room has no view, one little window, no hammock as promised, it was dark and smelled bad. I definitely not recommend to stay here.

If I could give it a zero I would definitely would. Horrible vacation thanks to this Hotel. I am myself Honduran, haven’t been to Roatan for the last 10 years. Decided to take a trip with my husband (he is a foreigner on his first time in Honduras). Henry Morgan has downgraded incredibly since my last time here. 1. Horrible beds with no comforters 2. The hamaca at the balcony had a huge hole on it. 3. Bad food quality 4. Dirty and rusty showers 5. TV didn’t work 6.Dark aisles at night (saw 3 guys peeing in public cause of that) In conclusion we had such a horrible time we decided to move out on the last night to a much better hotel. What a waste of time and money, EXTREMELY disappointed and horrible first impression on service/comfort to anyone visiting Honduras for the first time.

Terrible, staff and entertainers really good, terrible management. Lots of black flies all over the food at the outdoor pool and indoor dining, poor quality of food. Lack of cleanliness overall. Missing money and personal items in the room. Regretted, but thanks goodness it was a short vacation.

The rooms are so old. VENDORS ARE IN FRONT OF THE BEACH all the time. In the case of food the menu doesn't have more options to choice, it's the same: Pork and chicken. Hotel's bus drivers ALWAYS drive using theirs smartphones.

Nice location. beach is very nice but be careful if you don’t want to pay for the beach and pool. because the beach is free to go to there is a public access within close walking range. The tour guides will try to take you here or to others specific locations because they make a hit off the money you pay for places from the locations.

Amazing experience in that hotel. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Room always clean and very comfortable. Amazing food with variety , always taste and fresh. The staff clean day and night the hallway and amenities. Everyone speaks in English and Spanish. But I have to say, they don’t give to you the password for internet. Internet doesn’t work inside the rooms. Works in the hallway and amenities. They have security day and night. Reception work 24 h. The resort is in front beach.

Dirty, broken, bland but beautiful location. Everywhere you look at this "resort" it is in disrepair. The room itself more resembled a jail cell than anything else. We could hear every word of conversations as people walked by our room (K5). The shower was filthy, there was a needle in the wall, our sheets on the first night smelled of mildew...didn't make for a great first impression. There is an artificial turf surrounding the pool now. Which we were told was to keep guest from slipping on the wooden deck. Thats all well and good but now you walk on a soggy mat to go to the beach. The food was about as flavorful as a satine cracker and we found ourselves eating out more often than not... dessert was decent. On a positive note Roatan is gorgeous and we will be back, the Hospitality folks were fantastic and entertaining. As for the Henry Morgan it is more of a large motel with 3 continental meals, not a resort and no we won't be back.

It's West Bays all inclusive resort and so if that's what you are into it delivers. Though it's no 5 star restaurant or hotel it is able to bring people down from the USA and Canada with booze, food and flight included for under $1000 USD. That is hard to beat.

Best beach in Roatán! Gorgeous blue and sandy. They have food service. There are lots of vendors on the beach ⛱️. They offer you chairs and entrance for $20 per person , kids are free. Food is separately, and there are people selling massage services all around.

We had a flag of wine in the wine shop. And also bought 4 bottles. Good wine selection.

I had a great time at this resort! I can understand some of the negative reviews but from my experience I had a great time, loved the food and my room was fine. Roatan is an absolute paradise and I can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is okay, very clean areas, the buffet very good variety of dishes, the entertaining staff very friendly .. the beach is very close but it’s a lot of motor boats around, that’s the one thing I didn’t like.. but you can walk to your left side of the beach to the end and you will enjoy it..

My daughters and I visited for the afternoon after landing on the NCL VIVA ship at Roatan. We had an amazing, exciting day. Loved it!

Cruise travelers…go to another beach club. Got off the ship and wanted to go to west bay beach, specifically La Palapa beach club. We got transportation arraigned outside the gate. Once we were in the “taxi” the driver insisted on taking us to Henry Morgan beach. We said we wanted to go to La Palapa. The driver was not happy. He finally took us there but insisted he walk in with us and talked to a lady there in Spanish. She turned to us and told there was no space. It was not busy yet and I believe the driver told the lady to tell us that. Obviously it’s a small island they people in the industry know each other. So we went to HM beach. They charge $20 per person just to get in. Of course they say it has great amenities. There are plenty of beach chairs but no beach umbrellas. A few of the chairs are next to some palm trees but those chairs go first. The pool included in the $20 pp entry is under construction. Of course they don’t tell you that until you’ve paid. Drinks and food, at additional cost is not good at all. Drinks are fake, syrupy sweet and the food looks and taste terrible. We got chicken nachos and it tasted like movie theater nachos. Also, know that it’s going to cost $50-$60 taxi round trip to get there. The good is the beach area is clean and the water beautiful. So consider yourselves warned.

I went on a snorkeling tour that was great and compared to other places in Honduras, the rooms weren’t too bad. However, the problem was the food. When I ate there, I got sick for the entire time I was there. I had to deal with vomit and diarrhea. If it wasn’t for a massage I got, I wouldn’t have been able to go on my flight back home.

I don't spell well, but... I've been here about 8 years ago...Things have changed...not really for the better. The service was horrable! Fro an island that's native laungage is english, only about 5% of the staff spoke english, which mad it hard to communicate. None of the games or entertainment was in english. They only spoke spanish (oh, mayby a small amount of french)while playing the games. No english person would have had a chance...which makes almost all the games un playable as well as no so much fun. The cleaning staff never cleaned behind the bathroom door (it was durty when we checked in. HOWEVER...We had been stuck there because of SUNWING...and the took vare of us...we didn't have to leave ou room...we were lucky that the hotel was so very accommidating.

We came here for the day on an excursion. The beach if fine, white sand. The lagoon was crystal clear turquoise water. There were no pushy vendors, there was security, and there were chairs with umbrellas. It was a beautiful experience.

Henry Lorgan feels old and a little run down. The beach is great and staff was friendly. The food was ok, although a little limited in variety. Our experience staying at Henry Morgan was good in general, we enjoyed our stay.

Beware!!! 4 Stars is False here people. Rooms are bad and pics online are fake . Stayed here in May 2022 and had to move rooms 5 times . I wish that wasn’t true . But yes moved 5 times for basic stuff . No AC in room , No Hot water , Dirty rooms and disgusting restrooms 🤢. Front desk didn’t care and only offered a dinner at their restaurant. No help with moving from room to room . Pools are dirty and not maintained. The whole front desk staff should be fired starting with management. No I’m sorry . No type of refund. Sad to say we won’t be back to island . Wish I never came here . Horrible!!!

This place has the best beach on the bay. It's priced very reasonably, and you get all inclusive buffet and drinks. You get what you pay for, so yes the buffet isn't amazing, and you have to go to the bar to get your drinks, but for this price what do you expect.

The rooms are not the most luxurious but they are very nice. The food is good the drinks are good awsome staff and the excursions are very affordable compared to Florida. I would give it all 5 stars however they are strong on the masks 😷 in some areas and lenient in others and it just makes no sense and it's a resort with water everywhere but you can't go wet to eat
