The best zoo I have ever been to. You have to see it to believe what they’ve done to create the most incredible spaces for their animals. Must see if you’re in that area, worth travelling to from far and wide for sure.

Lovely park full of endangered animals from around the world. Well laid out with plenty of descriptions of the animals and their survival situation. Saw 90% plus of the animals, which is excellent. Plus plenty of Keeper led shows, see photo. Resturant next to giraffe enclosure is worth a visit.

No doubt..this is one of a kind. Very well done. The site has been developed around the needs of each species. You can tell the organization cares about keeping the Park well maintained. The animals were not so active with the heat wave so it's better to go on the morning.

Great experience, get a hand stamp to eat lunch outside park then return as not allowed to eat own food in park. Wear comfy footwear as its vast. Third visit and will definitely return when in area again.

I'm not surprised that so many visitors consider this the best zoo they've been to, it's not an overstatement! I partularly liked the observation spots above the pens and the variety of species. The staff is friendly and competent. The restaurant at "Camp des Girafes" deserves a special mention: the food is original and tasty but not overpriced (most parcs do the exact opposite!). Be prepared for a long walk but it's well worth it. This place is a must if you visit the region!

An excellently set out park which we found totally accessible for someone with a wheelchair which we borrowed from the site. The whole place was well marked all the way through from Stop 1 to Stop 38. The signs were in English as well as French. There are plenty of toilets dotted around the park and nice eating places too. (Sadly no vegan options). The only thing we didn’t take advantage of was the feeding times which would be well worth it with the lions and rhino etc. A lovely day and well worth a visit. 🤙

I love France and all it's amazing architecture, but I have to say that this was a delightful day to see something totally different on our tour of France. It was fun to see the animals in such a natural type habitat. I was at first worried that the large spaces would make it so we would not be able to see the animals, but the viewing areas are so smartly set up so that you can see most corners. My family was all super pleased with putting this on our trip.

We adore this park, which is cleverly set in a fantastic troglodyte quarrey, creating a natural world habitat, so we have visited many times over the past 20 years. It specialises in endangered species from all over the world and works with the countries of origin to breed and reintroduce animals to the wild while improving their habitat to help them survive. It is all open plan so the animals have room to be themselves, and thoughtfully laid out so all the breeds of different monkeys and tamarins can put on a show for the visitors on their own island areas! The bat cave is always a great hit, as are the young giraffes, four of which have been born in last 12 months. Add to that some rare big cats, a valley of beautiful birds, penguins, vultures, reptiles, zebras, beavers, rhinos, goats and even guinea pigs, and you have a fantastic day out. There is a lovely restaurant overlooking the giraffe & zebra enclosure so you enjoy good food while feeling like you are on safari! All zoos should be made this way. Highly recommended.

We took family there recently whilst on holiday. The two boys, aged 6 and 7 and the adults all really enjoyed it. Set in a beautiful stone quarry, various of animals and birds, wooden carvings of animals (the boys loved climbing on these and having photos on them!). Cafe available overlooking the giraffes and zebras. Numerous little kiosks around the site to buy a drink or snack. Each zone is clearly marked, so it's easy to follow to ensure you don't miss anything. Great gift shop. Parking is opposite, across the road. A great afternoon out!

Excellent zoo. Animals are set in their natural environment and there are two routes - through tunnels and normal path to reach them. Tunnels give you break from the heat in the summer and you appear from them into brand new enviroment. You get very close to animals and there is good choice to see for one day. We arrived just before 11am and stayed until giraffes feeding at 5.30pm ( where you get the chance to feed them yourself). Shows (around 15min) are in French only but you get to see the animals being fed right at the end of it so it is worth it. We stopped for lunch in the giraffe restaurant and it was bit confusing as you get your main elsewhere , all bit heavy for me to eat in the summer with limited salad choice ( if any) but they had vegan burger my daughter was pleased about. Good gift shop. Visit here is highly recommended!

A Really Fabulous Zoo! It's superbly designed with lovely, natural enclosures to enable us to see the animals at their best. I loved that there were so many platforms from which to view. Every animal looked so well cared for and the South American bird enclosure was truly fantastic. We spent ages here and were so impressed with how the birds had so much room to roam and seemed content. We had a fabulous day out to be remembered and this is a great example of a well thought out sanctuary. We definitely recommend this zoo.

Brought two children, two year old and a five year old and both completely loved the place. It was a hot day but there is plenty of shade particularly in the cave sections. The stand out animals were the giraffes (best viewed from the cafe where the food is good but maybe a little expensive), the parrot feeding and the monkeys.
