I
am
reviewing
this
property
as
a
two
star
hotel.
Parking:
Ample
but
nothing
covered
or
shaded
Lobby
&
Check-in:
The
lobby,
as
well
as
the
clerk,
smells
like
cigarette
smoke.
Check-in
was
quick
and
uneventful.
Room
Access:
Room
217
is
on
the
corner
at
the
back
of
the
building.
The
outside
door
was
purposely
jammed
so
no
key
needed
to
gain
access
to
the
building.
The
door
on
level
two
that
separates
the
stairwell
from
the
hall
was
broken,
making
getting
it
to
open
difficult.
The
room
217
entrance
door
was
blocked
open,
security
is
terrible
here.
Beds:
Plain
with
mediocre
linens
but
clean
and
well
made.
One
of
the
two
beds
had
a
serious
squeak.
WiFi:
5.5Mbps
down,
0.9Mbps
up.
Ping=121ms.
SLOW
but
usable
for
web
surfing,
maybe
even
low
resolution
video
streaming.
Bath:
Clean,
three
clean
towels,
good
water
pressure,
plenty
of
hot
water.
One
tiny
bar
of
soap
in
the
bath
&
one
in
the
sink.
Note:
the
sink
&
bath
are
in
separate
spaces,
a
good
design.
The
fan
in
the
toilet
room
is
awful,
super
noisy.
TV:
wide
screen,
42in
(guessing)
Room
amenities:
Microwave
&
refrigerator,
both
work
as
expected.
Air
handler,
keeps
the
space
cool
in
early
September
with
average
noise.
Quirks:
If/when
you
turn
off
the
reading
lights
using
a
wall-mounted
switch,
it
cuts
the
power
to
the
outlet
near
the
reading
lights.
You
find
out
in
the
morning
when
your
phone
is
not
charged.
Conclusion.
If
you
are
expecting
a
clean
room
with
mediocre
linens,
usable
Wi-Fi,
good
shower
before
a
competitive
price.
This
is
your
property.
I'd
stay
again
but
if
possible
I'd
give
the
near-by
alternatives
a
chance.
