The staff were great, very friendly and helpful,no extra entrance fee for foreigners, cost 40bht, fantastic views of the city,lots of info inside but mostly in Thai,well worth the visit.

All viewers are taken to the 31st floor ..then there are two more levels to enjoy, the top one being the “sky walk” which has a small glass floor area and the floor is open to the air. The view is probably more interesting if you are from the Roiet province area. The haze, due to the local farmers burning their rice fields, interfered with having clear skies to see many kilometers away. The 3rd floor has a nice cafe to stop and get a snack or coffee. Roiet needs to be complimented for it’s city park which is always clean and appreciated by its community. Many interesting wats to visit nearby. Wonderful landmark in the centre of Roi Et providing great views of the city and surrounding countryside. Visit was well organised despite a lot of school children being there at the same time. Escalator reaches most floors although stairs are provided for the very highest floors. At the very top of the tower is a small yet beautiful temple where you can make merit if you wish.

My trip to Roi Et has been highlighted by day’s walk to the Roi Et Tower and back. Though the sun ☀️ was almost blazing 🥵 and scorching 🥵 down on me the walk was worthwhile. The tower had amazing marketing skills which became business opportunities for small businesses and also entertainment for visitors. The ticket was cheap, just 40฿ but one spend on souvenirs, coffee, food and eateries, meals etc and one can spend a day In around the tower.
