I went to Rome specifically to try it, I was too happy and satisfied. The staff was very kind and the owner was really a very serious and happy person. I drank soju, ate Bibimbap, kimchi and tteokbokki. My belly was about to explode but I was also so happy. The prices were great because the portions were also so plentiful. I would go back there every day if I could. Can i give 6 stars? XD

We decided to check out this Korean restaurant in the middle of Rome. I gotta say, it did not disappoint. Some of the dishes were definitely different than what I expected but they were still very good. The seafood pancake was very eggy, which I'm not too familiar with. The spicy pork was really good. The soup was as I like it, and the kimchi fried rice was pretty solid but could've had a bit more kimchi to it. Their banchan was nice too - this kimchi was more spicy than fermented, if that's what you like. Overall great vibe. Thanks!

I was in Rome for a week and had this for three days! Loved the restaurant so much I kept going back, everything tasted phenomenal and super comforting. The Gainn deobap was definitely my favourite, the pork is super tender and the sauce was very flavourful. Big shoutout to the kimchi as well, the best I’ve ever had! I always asked for a side of kimchi and they were super kind everytime, the owners are also very welcoming and friendly. Will always visit when in Rome❤️

Incredible food and a nice change from all the pizza and pasta. A lot of flavours and definitely a place I need to visit at least one more time before heading home.

So we found this place and didn't had reservation and the owners found us(2) a table quick ,when you enter you really feel Korean vibe from the restaurant,the staff was friendly and the food was amazing 🤩 and feel ethnic. Really really good place

Main courses with the traditional side dishes are very tasty, peculiar, and entertaining. The tea was delicate and appropriate to match the strong flavours, altough I would have preferred to be told which kind of tea it was. Speaking of service, it was a bit incomplete, since I had to ask what was in the side dishes as well. The location is not as polished as I would have hoped (very clean and simple, but too plain in my opinion). However, we had a really nice experience, we will come back! Definitely recommended :)

The good was served very good. One of the best Korean food I've had and definitely authentic. We had the following and all recommend: HAEMUL PAJEON YANGNYEOM CHICKEN KIMCHI JJIGAE BULGOGI BOSSAM JAJANGMYEON TANGSUYUK JAPCHAE Staff were also very friendly and quick to respond, so no complaints on our end

taste was so good. nice. when we went out, we realized this is michelin guide restaurant. but service was good(paying by card was not possible at that time because of system.) and the restaurant mood was so so. but this restaurant korean food highly recommend! taste so good!!

After earing 5 days of Italian food, we needed a change and what a find, The food at Gainn is delicious, the service was great, the price was gokd value for money and the alcohol was deceptively good at getting you tipsy. I highly recommend. Think I have found my favourite cuisine

We are visiting from Los Angeles and this place is as good as some of the best Korean restaurants in L.A. (and we have MANY). The lady boss sat us down right away even though we didn't have a reservation (Michelin sign on the door). She was very friendly, and so was the staff. Food came quickly with traditional side dishes. A very enjoyable experience. I was very surprised by the negative reviews found here. We did not feel we were mistreated at all. Highly recommend to those who want to eat something different than pizza and spaghetti!

My family and I really enjoyed the food. The owner and the waiters are very friendly, attentive and helpful. Place was very tidy, clean and neat. Authentic Korean food. Every single dish was good! Highly recommended if you are looking to take a break from Italian food. 😊

Comforting and authentic Korean cuisine! We had the Yangnyeom chicken, kimchi stew and bulgogi - everything was great! Noted that the restaurant also attained the Michelin guide.

After having several Italian meals and we finally wanted to have other dishes. We joined a local tour and this restaurant was near our drop off point. It’s a Michelin restaurant but not very high class. We loved the food as it’s spicy and just like the one we had in Korea. Highly recommended.

Real Korean food prepared by a professional chef. The interior is clean and modern. Close to termini but not a chaotic neighborhood. Frequented by local customers not just tourists. Highly recommended.

I found Gainn restaurant on the web while I was looking for a good Korean restaurant in Rome. I suddenly wanted to try it. The place is really clean and cozy and tables are well spaced (which is a benefit nowadays). Both the owners (a korean couple) and the waiters were really really kind and polite, service was super fast and all the dishes tasted super good (and some of them really spicy, but this is korean cuisine!). We tried tteokbokki, yangnyeom chicken, ojingeo bokkeum, twigim mandu, bulgogi deopbap and chicken deopbap. I really appreciate the variety of side dishes that go with the main ones. Chef Kim is really talented, well done! Last but not least, we also tried makgeolli (a korean alcoholic beverage made with rice) and I loved it! Price is extremely right bearing in mind that most of the products are imported, food quality, the skill in making the dishes and average prices near Termini station. I will come back for sure to try other dishes. Thank you for the experience - 감사합니다!
