Decent hotel for a low price. Located near the old bridge, right on a restaurant street and a short walk away from most tourist attractions in Ronda, the location is a perfect place for those looking to see the local attractions. It's not the most beautiful hotel, but it's surely not ugly either. The beds are acceptable and tv + air-conditioning are present in the rooms. All in all, decent hotel at a fair price in a great location.

The Hostal Virgen del Rocio is SUPER close to all the action by the famous heights of the Puente Nuevo but it's situated on a quiet Calle with several restaurants and a Carrefour Express without the heavy pedestrian foot traffic. They have a restaurant, Nonno Pepe, attached to the facility. My Napolitano pizza and local wine were wonderful. If interested, guests can reserve a light breakfast, the night before, for €2.50. I always travel with sleep shades and earplugs to be cautious. I slept very well. I would DEFINITELY return and recommend this hostel.

Thoroughly disappointed by the management of this place. The hostel itself is fine for the price... has a good location with lots of restaurants nearby. However our room had ants all over the floor that got into our bags and instead of the staff being proactive about it and offering to help they blamed us saying we attracted them? I think the reason the floor tile is patterned is so the ants can blend it without you noticing. The staff also let themselves into our room without informing us which was unsettling as we did not expect that to occur and therefore did not lock up our personal items.
Also they claim to have free WiFi however it doesn’t work so why bother.
Would definitely choose to stay somewhere else next time.

Aside from the location, I would not stay at this hostel again! In our room, we had an ant infestation into luggage (containing no food) and the staff had no remorse and said it was our fault. The staff also entered the room without warning to supposedly change our sheets and moved/touched all of our stuff; there was no warning whatsoever. On top of this, the door locks are very finicky and not secure. If someone would want to break in they could. On top of all of this, they have one central WiFi for the whole building and it has poor signal, so don’t rely on having internet access while staying here. If you’re looking for an easy stay, then maybe this place is for you, but stay at your own risk. Hope there aren’t any bed bugs!

Location is great! Right next to the bridge and lots of restaurants around. There were only five beds but 6 guests: 5 humans and a colony of ants big enough to need a bed. Luckily they found a home in my friend’s luggage. When we told the front desk girl, she claimed that it’s a common occurrence if you have food.. which we didn’t. She told us she’d “check it out” and then did nothing about it. Their website said a continental breakfast is included but it’s actually 2.5€ Per person a day for toast and coffee. Luckily there’s an Express supermarket with lots of cheap food for breakfast! While we were out, the staff came into the room to remove the comforters without notifying anyone, which I thought was inconsiderate. The WiFi was slower than the taxi services (which are SLOW). The doors don’t close correctly and the shower head goes crazy and doesn’t point towards the shower. The shower does get hot and the pressure is nice. I would rather talk to the toaster (that I was not allowed to turn on) than any of the staff who were the least friendly and helpful people I ever met. If you can find somewhere else to stay, doooo it.

Very reasonably priced for a double bed and our own shower. Location is perfect, next to the puenta nueva and the bull ring. Only issue was with the very minimal supply of hot water. Note: the host may not speak English.

2 minutes or less from the new bridge/gorge, we were surprised how such an amazing location and so quiet a place can be so cheap. Very clean, very quiet and comfortable with good hot shower and comfy bed. We even have a balcony. Carrefour express-mart a few doors away was very convenient too. We were here mid May and very surprised the hotel was very quiet. Definitely a great find.

We were falsely accused and charged extra 50 € for damaging metal bed. As we didn't understand how could we damage it by sleeping in it. We came back, to see what damage did we do. Host showed the bed, we didn't agree with accusement, because it could not be possible to bend metal like that just sitting or sleeping in the bed. The host was agressive. We left without our 50 €.

👍👍 Possibly my favorite spot i visited in Ronda! Our receptionist recommended this spot as his favorite so we thought to try it out. We had the acorn fed pork which was possibly my favorite food of my entire visit to Ronda, so crispy and tender! We also tried the spinach croquettes which were delicious...
