This is the warmest, most welcoming restaurant we’ve ever been to. The restaurant owner is kind and very considerate; we had a two year old with us and she made thoughtful adjustments to our meal to accommodate her. She speaks multiple languages and made us feel very at home. The food was fresh, seasonal, and abundant. Everything tasted amazing, and we were so full and satisfied by the time we left. I highly recommend visiting Casa Maria!!

This was just a fantastic meal. Maria’s Mum picks up supplies in the morning and decides what to cook for the day. There is no menu, you are just asked about allergies and dislikes. We had a leisurely lunch over several hours, and Maria recommended wines with each course at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

It's a 2 women show run by Maria (hence the name) and her mother Isabel. It's a bistro style restaurant with rotating set menu using the freshest, on-season ingredients from Andalusia. It was one of the most consistently delicious meals I've had. Every course was satisfying and highlighted the fresh local ingredients while being creative and hinting at the Moorish roots of southern Spanish cooking. I personally think the food is at 1 Michelin star quality. The dishes are made with so much care with the most precise balance of flavors. But it's a rustic, uncomplicated setting. In summary head to casa maria if you want to elevate your exploration of south Spanish food beyond tapas restaurants. We were definitely enlightened.

Excellent! It is a preset menu of about 60€ per person, which usually consists of what Maria finds in the morning in the market. The restaurant is so great that we often spend 1 hour driving to Ronda just for lunch or dinner at Casa Maria

Great little restaurant with excellent quality and service. The menu is fixed, comprising different courses with tapas, salads, meats and fish at a fixed price which is not expensive when the quality of the food and the service is considered. We enjoyed a laid back lunch in the sun in the square.

Wow, wow, wow! We loved this restaurant and experience! Our B&B (La Escondida) helped us make reservations ahead of time. The reservations are through phone call only. I have Celiac disease and it was no problem to accommodate it at all! They had a gluten free bread course and all of the courses were gluten free including a dessert! They ask about allergies and preferences prior to the meal. I loved that there wasn't a menu and each dish was a surprise! The per person cost was 45 euros. We each had wine - so our total bill was 110 euros (which is comparable to what we pay in the US for a nice dinner out). We sat in the courtyard which had great atmosphere. Overall, we were very happy with our choice to dine there!

Really nice and chill place! The menu was great, you couldnt choose what you eat so they only tell you what kind of food they are serving and then surprise you! Liked it alot

Perfectly paired wine and deliciously curated menu. Each dish was better than the next. Staff was kind and helpful when navigating allergies in a new language. We dined outdoors in the beautifully lit courtyard. Would visit again and recommend to friends!

We have visited many restaurants in Spain but is is top of the bill! Food is excellent and the hospitality and service is superb! Whenever in Ronda, Casa Maria is without any doubt the best in town! It’s not just a lunch or a dinner, it’s an experience!

Mouth watering, absolutely delicious, next level cuisine. My husband and I consider ourselves to be gourmands. This family run bistro serves its own set menu (45 euro/person) with freshly prepared appetizers, mains, and deserts that will not disappoint even the most pretentious pallette. Each dish is perfectly balanced, and although the portions are all generous, the whole menu is balanced such that we didn't leave feeling uncomfortably full and heavy. I honestly don't know how we will be satisfied with anything else during our stay in Ronda. Absolutely worth every penny! Michelin, where are you? These guys deserve some stars.

We went to Casa María to have some lunch, already in July, but I am still dreaming about the food! You don’t chose your own food, but you let them surprise you with the menu off the day. Just let them know your allergies or if you really dislike some food. Only for €35 you get a loooot of food. Just look at the pictures and you don’t need more convincing to chose Casa María whenever you are in Ronda. I will definitely go back! (For more information about Ronda and surroundings, check my Instagram page @explorewithjenna and I would recommend Casa María to also start an Instagram page as well so they attract even more people)

Awesome experience, super friendly hosts! We sat outside and had such a terrific experience. It was 4 courses, no menu - we had appetizers (3 of them), fish, steak, and dessert. Highly recommend!

Very thing was perfect. Food and wine pairing without doubt the best. You don’t get to choose what to eat (depending on the fresh produce bought on day), but Maria makes sure you’ll have the best home cooked meal in Ronda. Highly recommend if you visit and staying a night in Ronda.

Lovely restaurant and very friendly service. We liked the no menu concept and we ate well with very fresh and high quality ingredients. Everything was cooked very simply (especially the meat that we had to cook ourselves). I would have maybe preferred a bit less meat as part of the meal.

I can’t say enough of this place. The price is fixed for 35 euros and they let you choose from couple alternatives. The food is ecellent, the owner family is very friendly and welcoming. The tapas, the meat, the desert..Best of I have had so far in Andalucia. They should have a Michelin star. They even gifted me house wine, such a kind place.

TOP NOTCH restaurant in Ronda!! Must eat here - they serve whatever is fresh that day so no set menu. But every dish was absolutely delightful. Staff is so kind and helpful and want you to have the best experience. You will not be disappointed by Maria’s cooking. Every bite was delicious

My husband and I moved to Spain just over a month ago and this is the BEST meal we have had since arriving. The chef prepares whatever they want that is fresh that day and it’s a fixed price. It’s a great way to try a lot of different things. The owners daughter waited on us the whole time and was so sweet. She recommended specific wines for us and checked on us after every course. Everything was incredible and the attention to detail is so great. This is some of the best service and best food out there. Do not leave Ronda without having dinner here. We hope to be back. Thank you for an incredible experience.

The menu was very balanced with salad, meat and fish. Such delicate flavours and very fresh and combined with matching wine. And the host Maria welcomed us fantastically. We had a delicious evening. A hidden gem!

Casa Maria is a little gem. They serve really well composed set menu at a reasonable price. You can taste and see the ingredients they use, very local and fresh. All the food are carefully handled. As we were only there for lunch, we didn’t get wine by bottles but the house wines are really good and super good value. Maria and her family are super friendly and looked after every clients. It is nice to have a different white table cloth experience with local food.

👍👍 Possibly my favorite spot i visited in Ronda! Our receptionist recommended this spot as his favorite so we thought to try it out. We had the acorn fed pork which was possibly my favorite food of my entire visit to Ronda, so crispy and tender! We also tried the spinach croquettes which were delicious...
