Such good food and friendly service. Honestly the food is amazing! We enjoyed the musical entertainment too. I'd highly recommend eating here if you like excellent quality seafood in generous helpings. It's a good idea to book, especially if you want the outdoor seating area opposite.

Unfortunately not what I was expecting from this restaurant. The octopus salad was mainly cold boiled potatos as was the main dish. The lamb itself was good but not as good as the price would suggest. Overall a very average impression.

Great vibes and delicious food! We had fresh grilled dorada a la plancha and was so tasty. Very well prepared, good size, with some grilled veggies and rice (you can choose if you want potatoes or only veggies). Dessert chocolate mouse and cafe gourmand were a nice sweet end to the dinner. The outside and inside of the restaurant has a nice cozy feel. And the most important (reason why we came) was the life music - Afro soul yesterday - and she was amazing! We will definitely come back soon! :)

Stayed in Villefranche for a few nights and very happy to come across this wonderful restaurant. Highly recommend for a great combination of good food, very nice service and a great atmosphere.

We love this place. Always great vibes and good food and those music performances are incredible! 3 years ago we were amazed and now even more. You must to try their mules and dorada!

I had the pleasure of dining at La Trinquette one evening during my stay at the Hotel de la Darse next door. While they technically had no tables available, instead of turning me away they brought out a table and made room for me on the terasse, so very kind! The food was delicious, the staff was lovely and friendly, and it was very reasonably-priced. All around, I had a lovely meal and I am looking forward to getting back again some day when covid is just a memory.
