Phila 's patriotic high society at its finest at this posh traditional general's quarter club. Delicious food and nice comfy rooms with beautiful American buffet breakfast included,! I wish I can get married here you know. Gotta reflect before general Mead's life size portrait, you will see his reluctance yet determination. God save 'Merica!

Between their history, atmosphere, dining, drinks and cigar options what more can you ask for?

Stunning would be one of the words I would choose to describe the Union League. We had the pleasure of enjoying the Cellar 62 room with it's walls lined to the ceiling with hundreds of bottles of fine wines. The meal was a delightful, delicious and it was cooked to perfection. The servers were quick, efficient and almost invisible as plates seemed to appear by magic in front of you. Exceptionally chosen wines were served with every plate served. It was truly a spectacular evening and enjoyed by all. Also, got a good shot of the Philadelphia City Hall, enjoy the pictures.

Beautiful, historical venue with very attentive service and a menu maintained by a chef who clearly cares. The wine selection is breathtaking. Unfortunately (fortunately for some) it is a gated establishment and non-members cannot get access. Would absolutely recommend as a special events venue.

My wife and I enjoyed dinner here before the Orpheus Club performance. The history, architecture, service, food and ambiance are all without compare. If you have the opportunity to visit here, do not miss out. But check the dress code!

I have been to the Union League a few times as a guest and also worked their capturing an event. I absolutely love the history and richness of the space. The food is excellent, the staff was a pleasure to work with and the couple was so happy with everything. Can't wait to get back there!

I went here for an event hosted by a group of military academy friends. Wow. A beautiful older, historical building, with an incredibly interesting history. I met a fellow Marine who was working there. He spotted me immediately as we were both wearing our Marine Corps tie clasps, and gave me the rundown of the Union League, it's history, as well as some of the history and current happenings of the nearby ship yard and NAS Willow Grove where I was previously stationed during my time with Marine Air Group 49. I really enjoyed our event at this beautiful place.

It's a nice place to have a wedding, the staff is incredibly nice and friendly...management/coordinators, not so much. The historical aspect inside is interesting, the artwork, the books, the statues, all fascinating. I believe you have to be a member here in order to use the facility, you'd have to call and ask. Vendors beware: getting a spot to unload/load is a nightmare especially since there is construction going on blocking the only way into the place - we had to back up the alleyway in order to reach the side door. As others back in, you will be blocked in. Be sure to leave your cell number on the dash board in case someone needs to get out that's behind you.

Room was small and needs better light. Robes and linens were very nice. Shower and bath good. Toilet seat broken. The water in Philly is very hard. But, if you’re given the privilege of staying at this club… take it and don’t complain about the nonsense I just mentioned. Bring a jacket as dress codes are strict. Trumbauers is off the charts fabulous. It’s on the top floor and VERY nice.

The Union League of Philadelphia is as good as it gets. History, great people, great food, like mindedness, and an atmosphere that is unlike any other. It is the premier club in Philadelphia and maybe anywhere.

Very historic property. We felt like we'd gone back to the 1860s. Staff was extremely friendly helpful and professional. The food was exemplary.

I reached out to Devon M. for a quote for an upcoming company event and was very pleased with her quick response, professionalism and ability to answer all of our questions regarding our request. Unfortunately, our management team did not proceed to choose to have our event in PA but we will definitely keep Devon and her team at Union League of PA in mind for future event needs.

Very pretty, historical. Food was wonderful. Staff very good. If not a member, you don't get access to much. Must wear proper attire including jackets for men.

Many of the prestigious corporate, government, media and community leaders are members who gather here. Many times to meet before the meeting. πŸ˜‰

I'm not a member, but have been doing work in the building and to the new rooftop addition. The building is historically significant but the furnishings are very dated and not in a good way. A member would probably enjoy the perks but for accommodations you can get a newer up to date look just around the corner. I hope they update it all once the addition is complete.

Utilized location for unit's training plan conference. Last day, I received an opportunity to conduct a tour throughout the property. Very beautiful, a lot of history. Would love to be accepted as a member for the Union League.

Best club I have stayed at. COVID has reduced services a lot. Summer too. As a member I have seen many evolutions over the years. This response remains a top shelf effort in difficult times.

Went here for a wedding. The food was just so-so but the service staff were wonderful. We didn't stay but got to see a room and they are VERY small.

What a Club should be. No reason to stay anywhere else when you visit Philly. So nice, you might not even want to leave the building. Convenient parking right across the street, spacious rooms, fluffy pillows, great decor. I enjoyed the little cigar bar late at night and had a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Everything was perfect, right down to the bacon.
