This is a tiny cash only neighborhood Italian restaurant. They make an award winning Florentine pizza with delicious sautéed spinach and a blend of special cheeses. The tutte mare pasta is well balanced and delicious. The fettuccine with clams was savory. The cheese lasagna was overwhelming with its thick layers of ricotta. Do not miss the garlic rolls, but ask the server to minimize the olive oil.

Salad was delicious. Made sure i finished even just the sauce with the bread. Pesto pasta was good too. Pizza was ok or.maybe we ordered the wrong flavour. Calzone dessert was just ok too. Shouldnhave ordered the tiramisu. Staff are all pleasant and helpful.

This is some of the best Italian food ever!! Everything is so delicious that I can’t pick a favorite dish. The Cesar salad has some of the best dressing I’ve ever had, the Bianca bread is fresh and delicious, and the white pizza has amazing crust. It was well worth the drive to Pasadena! I believe this place has the same owners or is in someway affiliated with the old Papalucci’s in Long Beach. Please come back! We miss your food. ☺️

The Paisano pasta was spicy but good. Huge portion enough to split with two others. The fettuccine Alfredo was a bit salty. The pasta fagioli soup was delicious, especially with the garlic bread or rolls dipped into it. The Danny's special pizza toppings were good but the crust needs to be more crispy. 5:30pm on Monday and they ran out of Italian Wedding soup? That is odd. Would repeat.

Hands down the best pizza 🍕 😋 I have eaten in Pasadena! I tried the Tucci's Special. I was sold. The next time they ordered the Tucci Special with pepperoni and my mind was blown 😳! The crust, the tomatoes, the basil, the garlic...All of the flavors blended and enhanced the shrimp and the spicy pepperoni brought it all home.

I ordered The Works pizza (large for $22.00). It was ready perfectly on time and delicious. The cashier gave me red pepper and parmesan cheese for my order. Very good service and great pizza. Given that the medium pizza was $20 it makes sense to me to order the large size for $2 more. Enjoy.

Please comment.. I came in to this place, when I arrive, I opened the door and I holded for a guy a two kids, the guy stayed behind me talking to the kids on the outside table.. when I arrived to the front desk I stood for about 3 seconds and the guy behind stared walking inside.. The guy on the front taking orders completely ignored me and started attending the guy behind me.. how is this possible get ignored like this.. I really don't want to mention this but it was so obvious the different treatment for the color of the skin and the potential of the sale and tip I walked away..

Delicious Italian eatery! The Pepe salad is so great, I’d go back for that alone! Shrimp pizza was great too. Complimentary bread and a small salad come with pasta plates. I had the baked ziti which was good too. The restaurant is on the small side but has a a cozy, family owned feel. Parking may be a little tough as you have to find a spot in the street, so allow some time for that. High chairs available. This place is CASH only, come prepared. PpThis is a great hole in the wall restaurant and it’s hard to go wrong on anything you order, definitely recommend!

I've been going to Tarantino's since the early '80s and think it's arguably the best Italian Eatery in Pasadena. Good pizza, with your choice of two different types of sauce. The grandmother sauce has big chunks of sweet bell pepper in it and the other one is called Tony's and is less sweet and might have a bit of Parmesan cheese in it. You would think after all these years I'd have that figured out but it's a pleasant mystery. Good pasta dishes with your choice of pasta configuration. Good usage of anchovies in one of them! But I can't say enough about the Pepe salad which is all the salads mixed together. Pesto bow tie mixed with red cabbage salad mixed with cucumber salad mixed with straight up pasta salad tossed in Greens with tomatoes and garbanzo beans. The perfect starter that ruins your appetite for your main entree. But I don't have a problem with that! Most of the servers have been there a long time and once they get to know you it makes going there even funner. It's cash only and I applaud that as well as the Starburst that they give you when your Bill comes.

This is one of the best pizzerias I have ever had in Pasadena. The pizza here is very tasty, and they are all delicious, suitable for all tastes. This shop is my daughter's favorite

I'm a huge fan of a calzone, I customized it how I wanted it with my own choice of meats and veggies. The sauce on top is the only way to go topped with parmesan cheese. This was my first time here, definitely coming back and I'd also recommend their pizza

Post in while I was on me holidays. Friendly staff, I was good when Quetin popt in and had a tea with us. I can recommend the half farm house, texan water mill pizza, deep pan. Eleven out of 10. Also we say is car night

Went in for a quick bite while waiting for a flight and I was very surprised. I got a personal pepperoni pizza, deep dish and it was very good! Overpriced but everywhere in the airport so can't downvote reviews on that basis! Highly recommend.

Tarantino's is a neighborhood restaurant which, I recall as a child, is much like the local place my parents would frequent, as that business owner was from the same town my parents were from in Italy; and Tarantino's food is so very authentic Italian, and with the best marinara sauce I've ever tasted besides my mother's, that they use only tomatoes designated in the food industry as "the best" in Italy for REAL Italian cooking. So if you have a passion for Italian food, you will not regret eating anything off their menu!!!

I was a regular 30 years ago, but hadn't been back since moving out of SoCal. It was like being in a time machine. I'm not sure why of the pictures on the wall have changed, and the food was as good as I remembered.

I have been going to Tarantino’s since the 80’s. It was always a little pricier than some other places, esp. chains, but their dough and ingredients were always much better. During the pandemic we didn’t go much. Over the years the price crept up, usually faster than other places. When I went the other day the price was up to almost $30 for a medium sausage, mushroom and bell pepper. When I got it home, there were about 8 tiny bits of sausage a few more mushrooms and more bell peppers. The dough was good, but I felt cheated on the ingredients considering the price. Hate to take them off my list, but not worth going back unless that was a one-off error. Some of the regular staff is still there so it doesn’t seem to be a case of ownership change. I didn’t take a close look at the pizza before paying or would have declined it.

This place is cash only first of all, just as an FYI. The food was average to mediocre at best. The carbonara that we got had burnt pancetta and onions that just dominated the flavor. The pizza was lack luster in flavor, sauce, and crust. I would recommend elsewhere if I had friends visiting and doubt I'll be back.

After active shopping, my friend and I decided to have a bite to eat nearby. Just on the first floor of the shopping center was this pizzeria. I will say right away that we did not eat pizza there, maybe it was evening (and we are watching our figure :) ). But from the smells that scattered around the cafe, it was clear that the food there was very good. I can say for sure that my favorite Cobb salad is very tasty! I advise you to take 1/2 portion, as a whole portion of ramchitan is clearly a giant! I also recommend trying the lemonade!

2 slices with pepperoni and side salad for $11 is a great deal. Add that the food is delicious and it's got to be over off the best lunch deals in Pasadena. The dough is crisp under cheese but soft at the crust end. Well be back.

Has to be one of the best pizza joints in Pasedena. I've visited LA twice and made sure I went back again my 2nd trip.

If you’re looking for the best Homestyle family Italian restaurant, then look no further. Their pizzas, pastas, soups, and other dishes are fantastic. There’s so much to choose from. Don’t forget to ask for the Bianca bread. It is just a cozy feel good family restaurant. FYI, cash only. Very flavorful food.
