👍👍 When I read 4.4 overall rating in Google I was expecting good food. After eating at Chennai dosa, I feel they are clearly underrated. My taste buds were feeling nostalgic when I tried every single dish we ordered. Simple setting but guaranteed full satisfaction. PS: please open branches elsewhere... This is the BEST vegetarian South Indian restaurant in France or probably the entire Europe! Simple interiors but great food and service. They have amazing vadas and their sambhar is simply lip-smacking. We couldn't stop reordering it. Even the Onion Rava Dosa was crispy and tasty. Loved the South Indian thaali. Mixed vegetable Uttapam was great as well. Amazing paneer chilly! Everything was 10/10. Must visit place.

Very near to railway station and price is affordable. They make complete south Indian and north Indian dishes. We visited two days. We ordered north Indian thali , masala dose, Gobi Manchurian, vadapav and panipuri. Everything was good, tasted super. The songs they play there will give you India feeling specially south Indian songs.. interesting part was I saw more people from local who were enjoying the Indian food.. they should concentrate more on hygiene..the tables were not soo clean.. but when it comes to taste you must visit the place if you are missing indian food badly. Staff were really good and friendly. We met the owner too and he treated us very well and friendly

We came here on the last day of our Paris trip - after trying saravana bhavan and a few others … must say felt really happy … best thing is it is small but tidy … wash is outside and clean…. Chutneys tasted so well … and since we finished all chutneys before the dosa got over , the staff brought some more - meaning they were observing us … Rava onion dosa was yummy …

Great value for money..this is a casual tiny eatery, a little crammed but the staff seem like they care about their customers. This place has much friendlier and attentive service than a few doors down Saravana Bhavan. The food is all vegetarian and we ordered the north indian thali and masala dosa. Food was pretty good. I would have liked some potatoes in the masala dosa as it only seemed to be filled with onions and not potatoes. I also appreciate they refill the chutneys at no extra cost. Overall I would go back.

Very nice and affordable vegetarian South Indian restaurant in Paris. Although next to Saravana Bhavan, Chennai dosa has unique taste and cheap affordable prices. The staff was bit rude on the day we went, but everything else was good! Definitely try their masala dosa, parotta and sambar vada. Their coffee is instant coffee and not filter coffee. On the whole a good place for vegetarian food.

The service was fast, the food was good but nothing exceptional. The Restaurant is quite crowded and noisy, lots of people come and go frequently.

It’s a small family owned business (I guess), however I was pleasantly surprised with the taste here. The sambhar, chutneys, vada all were fresh and tasting same as u get in India. Must visit if u are around Gare du Nord. Around 3mins walk from the station. Love it. Hope to visit again🥰

Very close to the ain station amd easily accessible. One of the best Vegetarian South Indian Food I had in Europe. They do have north Indian option as well. Food taste authentic Indian and made fresh, reminded me of Indian street food. The only issue was found was cleanliness which again took back me to India :)

This is an excellent South Indian Restaurant in Gare Du Nord and they have great variety. From Idlis to Naans, the quality is exceptional. While I tried various restaurants in that lane, for me Chennai Dosa is the best and I make it a point to visit 1-2 times every week. If you come to Paris n crave for budget Indian food, do visit here

We visited Paris in Nov2023, we were for 2 days in Paris we had our all meals from Chennai dosa because it's authentic Indian taste, they serve good amount, as Europe is costly for food for Indians it's challenging to adapt the French cuisine for heavy meal, as we visited this place satisfied our Indian food urge as we were on trip for 10 days, so this restaurant fulfilled Indian taste which we were missing Near to Gare du nord station Walking distance of just 100m. Must try-- Chhole bhature Rose milkshake All dosas and uttapa are good, they have tasty sambhar and 3 types of mouthwatering chutneys.

Delicious food, we had onion uttappam and masala dosa which were both very tasty and filling. The idli, vada, sambhar and chutneys were also quite delicious. The service is excellent, the staff is very welcoming. 10/10 recommend.

We ordered masala dosa and onion uthappam and they tasted pretty decent. If you are craving for south Indian tiffen items then you would feel satisfied eating here.

Lovely authentic South Indian food in reasonable price. We ordered a masala dosa, a masala ghee dosa and a rasa bada. The food was tasty and truly south Indian. The place was clean, seems to be hygienic. Definitely we will come again. Deserve to be added in your bucket list.

Yummy food, was not crowded and friendly staff. Definitely recommend the place. There is no rest room. Atleast nothing obvious and the hand wash area can be improved. But if you are looking for good food, head out to this place.

This what you would call a typical Indian Dhaba. All the diners where local South Indians, and the food as well the admosphere can take you out of Paris for your time spend there. Good find.

Polite staff. Resembles the taste of real south Indian food. Must to visit if you are waiting for Indian taste and recipe. Packing boxes can be improved in quality.

Amazing Vegetarian Food. It gives you an illusion of you going off paris and landing some south indian village. Authentic south indian food. We tried Thali, Masala Dosa, Chennai Family Dosa, Gobi Manchurian, Masala Chhas. Every dish had authentic taste. Highly recommended to vegetarian food lovers. Nearest metro station: Gare du Nord

Genuinely the best Indian food I ever had. Nice staff, fair prices. Definitely recommend! I had the mushroom Masala and the Samosas and it was amazing.

Highly recommend this restaurant! We ordered the North and South Indian thalis, and wow... one of the best meals of my life. The flavors are perfect and exciting, and the food left our stomachs feeling healthy and well nourished afterwards, not heavy like most other Indian restaurants we’ve tried. We came back the next day for both breakfast and dinner! The staff is very kind, and the prices are great, too!

Stumbled upon this place by chance, we ordered the Indian kingfisher with samosa and vada. It was really nice and was so authentic. The staff is very sweet and the service is really nice. I would definitely go back again for a nice meal this time.

Great Indian food with amazing service. We came there on night and the food was served fresh and tasty. We took the Thali dish that came with 10 different items and 2 kind of Indian bread with a cost of 12.9 Euro. Worth try it, specifically to vegan food lovers.

Paper light, crispy dosa with good amount of ghee. The sambar was amazing! The chutney not so much. Very simple and small sitting area. Not the cleanest but definitely the tastiest. Dosa so good, you’ll actually believe you are in Chennai.

Very tasty, vegan options available. But underestimated the hotness of my dish. And I want to give a social shout-out for the friendly service

Vegetarian Indian restaurant that offers a very large selection of South Indian and North Indian dishes. I was so impressed with extensive menu. The thali option is great to get small serving of each item, including a sweet item. I had the south indian thali and really enjoyed it. I also got the idli sambar which was as expected. I kinda wished I had tried the dosa, they looked to good on other people’s tables.

Authentic South Indian food in the centre of Paris. Tasty food at good prices. Although quite busy the staff were attentive and welcoming.

On our first day of our trip to Paris we wanted to initially go to Saravanaa Bhavan which is located next to Chennai Dosa. We are so happy to have chosen wisely and went here! The food was really good and authentic - we had Ghee Masala Dosa and Poori. Everything was great. Feeling satisfied and happy.

One of the best south Indian restaurant in Paris, infact in Europe. Friendly staff, fast service and delicious food. Pro tip - End your meal with a cup of strong chennai coffee.

Had a wonderful and authentic food experience. We planned to go to Sarvana Bhavan, but somehow decided to go to Chennai Dosa, which is almost next door. The vibe of the place is very Chennai like and reminded me of my college days. The food is superb, and the Gobhi 65 was one of the best we ever tasted (Yes, do tell the chef, he deserves to a trip to the Moon :p) The mango lassi was freshly prepared and yummy too, and I ended up ordering 2 glasses just for myself. Great experience, definitely worth a visit!!

This is really delicious restaurant for authentic Indian taste. I have been there twice. Both time order different dishes. Everything is so good. Only problem is service. Always one person is working for service and it takes long waiting time to call him for small things. Overall, good experience.

We found a used burnt match stick in our food!!! We bought noodles and there was a used match stick inside. The taste of the food has changed as well, the dosas and all south Indian food used to be great but now, it has become worse. They serve stale chutneys as well. Since the restaurant has been taken over (from September 2023), the food quality and service has gone down drastically! We used to love the place, now it's a place we avoid.
