Warnemünde Strand is a coastal paradise, and its sunsets are absolutely stunning. The beauty of this beach goes beyond its sandy shores and clear waters—it's the sunsets that truly steal the show. As the sun begins to set, the sky over Warnemünde Strand transforms into a breathtaking display of colors. The warm oranges and pinks mix with the cool blues of the sea, creating a mesmerizing painting in the sky. You'll have plenty of space on the beach to find your ideal spot for watching the sunset. Whether you decide to sit on the sand, take a leisurely stroll along the promenade, or relax at one of the beachfront cafes, you're in for a treat. The soothing sounds of the waves in the background add to the magic of the moment. And as the sun dips below the horizon, casting a shimmering reflection on the water, you'll be left in awe of nature's beauty. These sunsets at Warnemünde Strand are not just a visual delight; they're an experience that leaves a lasting impression. It's the kind of sunset that makes you pause, reflect, and feel grateful for the simple joys in life. In summary, Warnemünde Strand is the perfect place to witness some of the most beautiful sunsets imaginable. It's a destination that reminds us of the wonders of the natural world and leaves us feeling deeply appreciative.

we absolutely recommend staying with klaus under a thatched roof in rostock-lichtenhagen ! he kindly provided fresh fruit and hid easter themed chocolate bunnies for us in the apartment, what a sweetie. from there it's just a short bike ride to the beach – through a field of fragrant blossoms that will make your heart bloom in awe 🌸 the stoltera nature reserve will charm you with an abundance of ivy growing over the trees, a carpet of moss on the ground and cute little white flowers dancing out of the soil. go admire dogs living their best life on the beach as well as the interesting formations of the steep cliff at kap geinitzort. not far from here is the gespensterwald (buuouhaouuubuhhh !) with its bizarre trees shaped by the salty, humid sea air. it's so windy that locals say your curls might disappear, but you can warm up with a hot sanddorn juice in one of the slightly overpriced cafés. enjoy the breathtaking sunset at the beach and have a dip in the ocean if you are brave enough. the water was just 8°C in april, great opportunity for practicing the wim hof method and reenacting a scene of t. peters' de-transition baby. if you reach a fever pitch and are left breathless, a lifeboat with the name ~adele~ will come to your rescue. the wooden stakes in the water are called buhnen and they are supposed to break the waves, but we think they might also have been built for balance exercises and bird rest. there were three seagulls digging a hole in the sand and mining for the most beautiful rocks – one of my favorite activities as well. we found a whole array of different kinds: bernstein, tiny grey ones, chalk rock, but you gotta be careful with potential phosphor findings ~ don't set fire to the rain ! ! it is by official rule not allowed to feed the seagulls, though they will likely steal your snacks anyways. we saw one grab a whole ice cream cone, their favorite flavor seems to be vanilla. on the strip in warnemünde you can buy fisher hats with a cow pattern and heart-shaped rocks from a vending machine, my friend got the orange one that stands for sensuality and the body. at warnemünde harbor a large amount of people who seem to be huge fans of monogamy placed love locks on a bridge, fooling themselves about the eterny of their sensual bond. one heart shaped lock already broke apart and seems to be chasing pavements now. rumor has it that this love is water under the bridge and your heart might melt to stone. but i do prefer a rock over a lock anyways 🧡

I recently visited Warnemünde in Germany and had an amazing experience. It is a fantastic place to chill out, enjoy breathtaking views, and engage in various sports activities. The combination of a beautiful beach, vibrant atmosphere, and numerous sporting opportunities make it an ideal destination for both relaxation and adventure. The sandy beach in Warnemünde is simply stunning. It stretches for miles, providing ample space for sunbathing, taking leisurely walks, or building sandcastles. The crystal-clear waters of the Baltic Sea are perfect for swimming, and the gentle waves make it a joy to frolic in the water. One of the highlights of Warnemünde is the beach volleyball scene. The designated courts are well-maintained and offer a great opportunity to gather friends or meet new people for a thrilling game. The energy and enthusiasm of fellow beachgoers make the experience even more enjoyable. But it doesn't stop at beach volleyball—Warnemünde offers a wide range of sports activities for everyone. Whether it's windsurfing, sailing, or even paddleboarding, there is something for every water sports enthusiast. The conditions are ideal, with steady winds and professional instructors available for beginners. Beyond the sports activities, Warnemünde's atmosphere is lively and inviting. The beachfront promenade is lined with charming cafes, restaurants, and shops, where you can take a break, enjoy delicious local cuisine, or pick up a souvenir. The colorful buildings and cobblestone streets of the old town add to the overall charm and character of the place. I must mention the breathtaking views from the Warnemünde lighthouse. Climbing to the top rewards you with a panoramic vista of the beach, the harbor, and the surrounding area. It's a truly memorable experience and a must-visit attraction for any visitor. In conclusion, Warnemünde is a hidden gem that offers the perfect combination of relaxation and sports activities. Whether you want to unwind on the beach, join a beach volleyball game, or try your hand at water sports, this place has it all. With its stunning views, vibrant atmosphere, and friendly locals, Warnemünde is a must-visit destination for beach lovers and sports enthusiasts alike.

Lots of food stalls and different variety of food. Just be careful of seagulls when you are eating. They will snatch food right out of your hands. Happen to me 😂 The beach is also a nice place to relax

Warnemünde is a German port town on the Baltic Sea, near Rostock. It's known for its long beachfront and marina, a cruise-ship stop. Fantastic beach. From Rostock , local train goes to strand station.

It's a big nice beach. Denmark is just 70 km opposite. Baltic sea water is a bit cold even in summer. You can find lots of fish based dishes on the way to the beach. Swimming is allowed and safe. This review is not about the FKK/nude beach.

If you like fresh seafood and nice beaches definitely worth visiting. We went to the beach bit early (around 9 am) so able to find a good place. The water was clear, not many waves, and less crowded in the morning. Can be easily accessed via Warnemünde S Bahn station.

Amazing place. We really loved in the morning when it was sunny and also in the evening with glittering light houses. Very peaceful place and easy to reach. There are few small restaurants to grab snacks and drinks. You can relax here for the whole, walking around or sitting there. Water was a bit cold for me so I couldn't stay in water for long. Definitely a must go place.

Best place to visit in summer. Just plan if it’s more than 20C plus wind speed is not more then 12km/h. Otherwise bring a camp or jacket to feel warm. Lot of places to eat around and also enjoy the water. There is a kinder park near by but there are not many stuff for kids to do. Water is warm in summer just the cold wind makes it uncomfortable to stay. Anything above 20C is perfect of beach 🏖 and some sun. There are some places you can rent but it cost around 5€per hour.

Open and public beach. I visited the area for a short break, but even for a short time I was there I had a relaxing time. For a summer Friday evening it was not crowded at all. The shallow depth was quite streatched from the beach, make it a perfect place for family and people who wants to do some fun water sport. Public toilets are in the area.
