    So LA fitness has been my arch nemesis for years. I always call it Club LA. My reason for that is because it is always super crowded and people are in my way or bothering me. I finally had a good experience a couple of weeks ago and decided to try a different location. This location is definitely smaller than the rest. However, they were not a lot of people when I came in. I was able to work out in peace, and I actually signed up for a membership. Ciara was amazing. I am interested in taking some of her Zumba classes. I teach Pole fitness, so what I’m thinking is to have my students attend her Zumba class as well. It seems like fun. I also want to try to cycling class. They have a basketball court, a Pool, sauna, and showers. They also have lockers. Be sure to follow me on Instagram @rosadivina29 for more places I’ve visited.

    The sauna has been down for weeks. I am paying for this amenity and they keep saying “it’s scheduled for service” but apparently not. The sign on the door says the temp is 180. Yesterday when I went in the thermometer read 75 degrees. Really? I will be requesting a full refund of my membership dues. The sauna is the reason I joined this gym and they’re not even bothering to service their equipment.

    I have LA fitness back home and to be honest many of my experiences could use some serious improvement. I think organizations like this expand a little to much causing a huge disconnect when it comes to making it a passionate work place. I waited on hold for a whole hour after trying to get ahold of someone multiple times and just ended up having to go in. For sure able to get the job done when it comes to workouts though and the layout is pretty good just service was absolutely TERRIBLE!! No acknowledgment neither walking out or into the facility but then again majority of the time there was no one even at the front.

    I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM! They are never clean, and no one is ever polite. Cierra was amazing with helping us and answering our questions. There was blood on the door handles and it was there for over 8 days. To know that this place is not being cleaned properly is a health concern. They didn’t allow my daughters trainer to train her because they made up situations to push her out. It’s unkind and quite frankly it’s unacceptable. I have cancelled my membership and I will have my entire work place cancel theirs because I wont be responsible for anyone becoming sick! This place needs new management, and it needs to become a cleaner environment.

    I like this one, it's in a great location, it's one level so it's one of the smaller ones, it was clean and surprisingly at the time I went it wasn't ridiculously crowded like most of the other ones get.

    The customer service at this gym is APPALLING. We’ve been reaching out to them for well over a week and keep getting put off. We leave messages, the calls are not returned. We tried going in to speak to a manager and the manager is never there. Who’s running this?? Ridiculous. We’ll go elsewhere.

    This has to be the worst LA Fitness I have ever been to- A/C barely works, equipment is old and broken, no hot water in the ladies bathroom, dimly lit, empty water bottles/used paper towels strewn on the floor. This place needs a major overhaul.

    !!! Do not go here, Do not patrionize. LA fitness!!!!! My vehicle was broken into in daylight. I am mediately informed the management company and LA fitness management. Both companies stayed it on record that there was nothing that they were were going to do about the situation. Sadly this is what happens and no one wants to take accountability in making sure that customers are safe and experience is nothing less than great. For LA fitness to say that there was nothing that they were going to do was heartbreaking. I lost children’s items, pictures, things that I cannot replace.

    An enormous shout out to Fitz, the extraordinary manager who made my LA Fitness experience absolutely exceptional! He was best-in-class in customer service, professionalism and kindness. I have been to LA Fitness clubs across the country, and I've never met a more supportive, helpful and authentic manager. I am recommending LA Fitness to folks throughout Atlanta now and telling folks they've got to go meet this incredible young man. I hope LA leadership has the ability to recognize this talented young man. He is a brilliant asset to this organization!

    Going to this gym for 5 years and they always have friendly staff and multiple ways to clean equipment before and after use. Basketball court isn't full size, swimming pool is great and the sauna are great amenities.

    The front desk lady - Becky I think - is awful. She’s frequently drunk at work and last time I came in she said I needed to show my drivers license to prove my identity. There’s literally a picture of me on the account- I don’t need to show ID. She then lied and said I must be sharing my membership with other people “because I had checked in twice today.” I said “ I checked in twice because I work out twice a day.” I will be reporting Becky to the central office.

    Weights are limited, cardio equipment is junk. Planet fitness is less than a 1/4 mile down the street and all thier equipment is new. Only $10 a month

    The locker room and sauna were often quite dirty and disheveled. The amount of equipment is lacking, and what is there is old and quite used. On top of that, the staff is not inviting or welcoming, and it was a rare occasion to even get a greeting at the door.

    DO NOT RECOMMEND PERSONAL TRAINING. I signed up for personal training and paid quite a lot of money for those. I was promised to get monthly measurements, weekly exercise plans, and nutrition guidance, of which I got none. Only one of the trainers did all three but he left LA fitness and I had to work with the other trainers for the rest of the time. I had complained several times that I am not getting what I paid for with the trainer I was working with but at some point there were actually no other trainers to train with! They made me an exception and let me work with a "master trainer" instead of a regular trainer but that trainer was late and did not do my measurements or give me work outs for the rest of the week either. I complained yet again and asked for a refund on the sessions that I have paid for but have not yet used (because they force you to pay for terms). They would not give me my money back and refused to refund me and just said they will prolong the time I can use the sessions for, basically, I pay them for one more month of membership to use up the sessions that absolutely were no benefit to me just so that they can take more money from me. In the end I ended up canceling my membership and losing around 10 sessions because it was better to lose the 10 sessions than pay them more money for a continued membership. This is a business that have no respect for your time or your hard earned money. Do NOT recommend personal training or anything else at this gym to be honest, they even charge you for towels.

    I am compelled to write this review for LA Fitness as my recent experiences with them have been nothing short of spectacular. The gym is always in pristine condition, the coaches are top-notch, and the level of organization and professionalism demonstrated by the management is exemplary. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the facility is commendable. In the current times, maintaining a hygienic environment is of utmost importance and LA Fitness goes above and beyond in this regard. The equipment is well-maintained, the locker rooms are spotless, and there is a constant effort to ensure that everything remains sanitized and safe for all members. However, the highlight of my experience was the exceptional customer service provided by the General Manager. Due to an unforeseen situation, I was charged an unexpected cost. After explaining the situation to the General Manager, not only was I refunded the full amount, but the manner in which the situation was handled was professional, empathetic, and incredibly gracious. It is rare to find businesses that value their customers to this extent, and for that, I am truly grateful. In summary, LA Fitness is not just a gym; it is a community that values its members and strives to provide the best possible experience for everyone. The combination of a clean environment, exceptional coaches, and outstanding customer service makes it a top-tier fitness center that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to elevate their fitness journey. Thank you, LA Fitness, and a special thank you to the General Manager for his kindness and understanding. Your actions have not gone unnoticed and are greatly appreciated.

    TURN ON THE AIR CONDITIONING This place has been like a swamp so far this summer, they refuse to turn the AC on an acceptable level for a gym, in the south, & in the summer. Its always beyond hot and multiple people have complained to employees yet everyday they still are like please come work out in our sauna. Please come and enjoy your free dehydration and heat stroke.

    Very dirty LA fitness. Soap has been out in mens restrooms for days, the hand sanitizers haven’t been refilled in months - toilets are almost always clogged or feces all over them. I wish there was a better LA fitness closer to me.

    Overall this is a very nice gym. The staff is very friendly and the gym is spacious. Lots of weights and aerobic machines. Been going to different LA Fitness locations for years and this is one of my favorites. Only complaint is they could do a better job of cleaning the men's locker room floors and lockers.

    This location is the worst. The women sauna is been out since June. Always men’s working there. Women can’t access the shower because of men working in the sauna. Nobody follows up. Can’t change or take a shower. Why don’t you put a curtain and have them enter from the men’s section. It’s ridiculous and absurd. Have to drive 12 miles to another location. Better close it

    I've been a member here for 6 years, and the ONLY reason I've stayed at this location this long is because it's so close to my house. I keep holding out hope things will improve, but they just keep getting worse. The main complaint is the lack of AC in the main gym area. This has been an issue the ENTIRE time I've been a member. It's too hot year round, but it's unbearable in the summer. There is also a complete lack of cleanliness- floors/bathrooms/locker rooms/equipment and the small equipment is always disorganized all over the floor. Also, the sanitizing wipes and paper towels are usually empty. I have managed fitness centers myself, so I can't understand why any of this is acceptable. If you're thinking about joining, I do not recommend this location. However, the other locations in the area are nice. LA Fitness @Holcomb: Please just do and be better for your paying members!

    When my arm broken due to accident. I had called to pause on my membership and personal training auto pay. I stopped by few times before I leave country for long business trip to address this matter. They were supposed to stop the payments. Not only they didn’t pause the membership also they charged me $900 per month for 4 months worth of $3600 for personal training which I never got service for it. Because my arm was broken in two pieces. Then I came back to address this again and they said they will give me credit to me or any family members that I want to put on file. Then I had to leave country and told the manager when I get back. When I got back there was another manager who didn’t help nor give credit to my family member. Basically I feel like I was scammed and robbed during my recovery.

    Its been several months that these hand sanitizer dispenser have been empty. Too cheap to refill? Too lazy to refill? Especially during covid, these things would be nice to have filled

    Bathroom is dirty. No paper towels. No toilet paper. Trash is overflowing. Every sink is dirty. I don't know how they call themselves a place of fitness or health????

    They wouldn’t allow me to cancel my membership over the phone because “of fear of canceling the wrong account “. I laughed said ok and hung up. They called me back twice immediately. I denied both calls because why talk if they can’t help me. Then left me a voicemail saying I was as rude for hanging up.

    First time actually working out in the gym here and it was much cleaner and honestly smelled better than others we have been to. Last time we were here was for a class about 3 years ago and we went straight to the room. I appreciate the staff as they were welcoming and of course the cleanliness.

    Really chilled place; without any distractions. People are kind and mindful of others. Moreover, the staff is super helpful. The front deskman, Steve, was really helpful on my first day here. Gave me an excellent tour of the gym and gave a welcoming feeling to this place.

    They have a basketball in the gym but they don't have any basketballs 😒 ... they are said they are supposed to get some soon...o...k. The men's bathroom is not clean, the stalls are falling apart and there is still a hole in the floor in front of the sauna, but the staff is nice and its a small location and not overcrowded which is great

    Walked in because I had signed up for a guest pass online. Regnault Sanders showed us the vicinity and then told us his gym doesn’t honor the pass because of covid but the LA a few miles away does. I asked him to call the center to double check but refused saying “nah I already know they will.” Again I asked him to call and he insisted “no it’s all good I sent someone over last week.” So I had to call them myself and found out they do not accept the pass. Just a lazy individual who doesn’t want to do their job and knows nothing. Ignorant, arrogant and unprofessional. Choose a gym where they prioritize new and current members.

    This LA fitness is absolutely awful! I have been trying to cancel my membership and they told me I need to come in to the store. I went in and they proceeded to tell me they couldn't cancel because the cancelation person is out, the general manager couldn't even do it for me. They told me I have to go to another location 20 min away in order to cancel. Terrible customer service I will never join any LA fitness again and would encourage anyone who is thinking about joining this facility to re-consider

    Has to be the darkest gym I've ever been in. There is no ventilation or air flow, just stagnant hot air. Half of the dumbbells were not in their correct location and had to actually look for specific weights. It was at least not crowded at 5pm, so no fighting for equipment; whenever you can find it.
