The cheapest fish and chips I know so far for a family chicken and chips are yummy and that have other food there as well

OMG the owners are so lovely. The lady is so awesome and friendly. Butter chicken is the best I have personally had in NZ. The food and service is always a 10 for me

Staff are awesome, really good pricing for what you get. We come here since they opened, if we're in town and want fish and chips or their smorgasbord will always come here. Always been good value lovely people

Overall very disappointed. Curries were okay if overly sweet but burgers were tasteless, chicken was so overcooked it was mushy and fish was dry. Won't go again. Overpriced for the quality of food.

After a long drive from Auckland, we stop and found this restaurant, the staff are very nice and friendly. The food are amazingly good. Highly recommended and will most definitely comeback.

As we live in Whanganui we were after a takeaway that had excellent reviews as myself and my son are fussy. Their website for online ordering was professional and a breeze to navigate. The lady sorting our order was awesome and really friendly. My pork belly roast was so tender and delicious and judging by my son's groaning his hamburger was too. Fried bread was delicious. Awesome takeaways in every aspect. Totally recommend if you want quality at a low price. YUM!! No photos sorry... We forgot.. lol

Owners are absolutely lovely and provide great service! Serving sizes were quite large as well. Unfortunately, as a lover of spicy and flavorful indian cuisine, I was disappointed by the lack of flavor in all the dishes I tried - lamb curry, chicken curry, and butter chicken. The rice was also overcooked (soft and watery tasting). With so many 5 star reviews, perhaps it was just not their best day. The chicken and lamb were cooked perfectly though! Very tender. Absolutely lovely place - just not the spot for those looking for a lot of flavor or spice!

Bula pies are the best in Rotorua and they’re not even a bakery 2023 pie of the year in my eyes mince and cheese pastry 10/10 Fillings 10/10 overall 11/10

Yum! Recently moved to Ngongotaha and googled a good place to get takeaways. We got butter chicken, garlic naan's and a kids meal. Full of flavour and very full and satisfied after our dinner. We enjoyed every minute of it. Will be back. If you want great service and food, go here :)

Extremely underrated fish and chips. Out of the other places we have tried, Bula Takeaways is on top by far. The Hoki fish was fresh, with a generous serving, and at the perfect price. The chips were also cooked to perfection, with fresh, clean oil. The workers are also very friendly. We really enjoyed the food and service, definitely going to go back. Highly recommend trying it.

Ashme and Merkesh (hope i spelt your names correctly) have worked very hard to make their business as successful as it is. A fire nearly destroyed their premises befors they had really started, but they pushed on. They are very frirndly snd helpful plus their food is awesome and prices are not over the top. Bula Takeaways in Selwyn Heights is only place to go for curries for me, and their european takeaways are delicious as well.

Tried out 4 dishes: Chilli prawn; sweet and sour pork; chicken stir fry; and beef fried rice. Portions were very generous and extremely tasty. The chilli prawn smacked your taste buds like a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick! Prices were fair. I highly recommend to order by phone as we needed to wait quite a while before we got our food. I will definately come back here again.

Such an amazing little place with the most friendly of service. Food is incredible but would come just for the friendly people alone.

What a Beautiful lady who serves so chatty and welcoming " The Food was melt in your mouth goodness., Myself and hubby were very impressed with our Lamb shanks and butter chicken and pork belly 😊 we ain't local but we'll be back for sure every chance we are passing through.
