We completed the green hike (1.5hrs) - it was breathtaking throughout the hike. Walking through the very tall redwood trees helped create a calming feel and scenery - very therapeutic.

Maybe one of the most beautiful, impressive and enchanting places ever seen in my life. The trees are approx. 60 meters high. Perfect place for hiking and biking. A suspended walk among the trees is possibile, but in this case you have to pay.

Some great walks, both the paid board walk up in the trees and the free (on the ground) walks ranging from fully accessible 1-5km circuits through the redwoods to more rugged terrain 5-35km hikes. MTB trails too for the family and more adventurous.

This is a paradise for out door as activities close to town. The park was littered with trails for walkers and runners, bikes and horses. The biking was particularly good, many posts for all levels. Some a bit short but so many connecting that you would need several days to do them all.

Some stunning landscapes, different treks that vary in length to complete, the trees are so grand it makes you feel starstruck by how old and huge some of the trees are. There's also restrooms and an information site at the entrance and there's a canopy walk you can do which is elevated do this at night as there are lanterns that light up and makes it awesome

Loved the treetop walk & have walked thtough the forest as well. We always bring our Japanese students here & they always enjoy it. Such a peaceful place with so many lovely things to take photos of. Dicounted prices for locals too! It's a must do.👌👍

I never saw such marvels of Mother Nature at its finest. Gigantic redwoods are the grandest of all trees. There are different trails and well labelled paths for different levels of hikers. Get your hiking gears ready, even the beginners trail is a long way to go. good thing there are several benches in the middle to jsut simple relax and catch your breathe. A little bridge is lovely where it leads to the oldest tree named after a kiwi woman(sorry forgot her name). Another great oppurunity to see thier national plant, silverfern. its a nice game along the way to guess which plant is it. great way to spend time with family. there's even good picnic areas that are well shaded and clean.

Amazing night walk, didn’t expect too much from walking high in the trees however it was surprisingly impressive and really fun. Recommend this on the “to do list” for Rotorua. One thing to note was those in wheelchairs wouldn’t be able to fully experience the high walk also carrying children is not allowed.

We did the yellow trail and it was well maintaimed and acurate as on the map. Some potential dangerous crossings with the MTB track having bikes going fast. But well worth the time. Beautiful views. Take some water and fruit and sun protectiin.

Place and walk is beautiful as usual as I'm a local and I visit here often with my friends. But today's visit on 22nd feb 2023 wasn't a pleasant one because a staff member who was on first deck at 9.20 pm was extremely rude and sounded racist. I have a little boy who was scared as it was his first time here, and we weren't aware if we could lift him or not. Instead of instructing us politely and calmly, she shouted, and her behavior was extremely rude in front of 8 other people standing there. Also, when we started the walk, she asked us to get down the bridge and allow others to walk in a loud and rude voice, which she could have said it politely. I and my family felt insulted. I am extremely unhappy with this behavior.
