Bar Pub

👍👍 Great pub with cheap prices for premium beer! Beer garden is a little small but a great sun spot with areas of shade available. You can usually get a seat outside, quite large inside! Toilets are okay with disabled access. Decent pool table available for £1 a go. Lots of TV screens to watch sports.... People often mention friendly, good, staff,

decent service but no public parking and is a good 10 to 15 minutes walk to anything, find it hard to understand why they dont let customers use the carpark at the rear rather than out side seating and staff parking, may use again but only on my way to somewhere else

A well kept station pub with little atmosphere. A constant soundtrack of bad r and b blasts out of the speakers even in the beer garden. The staff were friendly and courteous. No ale of any sort which I find incredible.

I used to be a regular here years ago and it wasn't a pleasant place really, sticky carpets, notches out of bar stools and or tables basically a pretty low ranked place. HOWEVER I was there on 22/05/23 for my uncle's wake sadly. I honestly couldn't believe that I was in the same building I used to frequent frequently its had a huge makeover and I think it's absolutely amazing what's been done to get it up to scratch it's almost had every inch done up. Manager was fab couldn't fault them we had a lovely evening considering the circumstances we were there for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FAB FAB FAB

It is a decent pub with nice staff, cheap drinks and football. It works well with Wetherspoons down the road. It gives you a choice. Sport/ no sport, food or not, music at night or not. Both are reasonably priced and attract a mix of people enjoying themselves.

Only stayed for one as it was early and this venue is quite open plan and spacious so felt empty. Seemed clean, and staff were nice.

Went in this pub to watch football. Not too busy as it was a Sunday dinnertime KO. Served straight away with a decent Carling. Odd thing tho the floor including the carpet were sticky.

Good boozer for a cheap drink. It's a sporty pub with plenty of tvs and seating. Drinks are priced very well. Atmosphere seemed good. Staff friendly. I'd recommend 👌

👍 We had a nice impromptu lunch this afternoon. Sat outside so the kids could play in the small play area. The food was reasonably priced, the staff all friendly and I really liked the cute little touches at the bar (see pics). The food wasn't anything special but it was nice enough and the basic sor...
