Small but lovely pub, views in the garden at the back are great, staff are really friendly and lovely location in general. Will definitely come back to eat here, as we just turned in for a pint today.

Had a rushed lunch as arrived with 15 mins before the kitchen closed. Rather than make us feel it was ok as it was still within their time frame for surving, they made it feel like an inconvenience. However, the food was nice, but the portions were small and over priced. A small bowl of chips (I mean like a small pot) cost £4. More than London prices. That said, the views from the garden were fabulous and it is well maintained. It was a lovely place to settle and rest up for a drink, regardless of the food prices. I would recommend it on a sunny afternoon.

Haven't been to this hostelry for many a year. Service and staff very friendly and helpful, food was home cooked, well worth a visit. I visited lunchtime so quiet, and therefore could not give a full score on atmosphere.

Just a great pub with tasty food. Homemade Cheesecakes are amazing. A lovely garden to enjoy highly recommend.

Amazing summer outdoor space for dogs and families! My family made a stop here for lunch today. 1 dog, 2 kids, and 4 adults. The menu was great for everyone, vegetarians included. Everything was a great size and really tasty. The pricing was good for the group of us. It was a beautiful day so we sat outside under sun umbrellas and really enjoyed the beautiful environment. I'd recommend this venue for any size group on a sunny day, but probably call ahead if it's a cooler day and you need to be inside, where you can enjoy the charm of an old English pub location. Would I go back? Yes. If you're in the area, and get a chance, choose this venue for a relaxing meal and a drink.

Great traditional pub serving excellent beer and even better homemade food. Lovely and cosy in winter but has huge outside area over looking beautiful countryside that will be superb for out door drinking in summer.

Recommended to try this place and glad we did. Lovely home cooked food and our party of 6 for a wedding anniversary were looked after very well. Great menu and cooked to perfection. Local ales too.
