beautiful terrace and welcoming hosts at first. i wanted to take a shower and i cleaned the floors of the bathroom a bit (dead insects and some other dirt - cleanliness should be ensured before guests arrive), and then this is what i saw. i left the place because the one room i was staying in had all these insects, and in the other room the fan didn’t work. the host did want to show me another room but i was really disgusted and just wanted to leave at that point. also, i didn’t get any of my money back (8.50USD), the owner explaining that “i’m not buying the place so i could just spend the night and leave tomorrow”. also, they asked for me to pay the room as soon as i got there, which didn’t happen at any other accomodation. *aircon was not even an option, when i asked the host said that there is a fan that can be used and it’s “not that hot” (31°C) i do not recommend this place and i can now understand the bad reviews. i really didn’t want to write this at first but this is really not ok. unfortunately, i disagree with “you get what you paid for” because i’ve stayed at other well-placed accomodations (same price) in sri lanka and they were impeccable. i’m hoping that this review will motivate them to improve the conditions.

We thought it was a good place to stay, very quiet and well presented. Although having to pay upfront on arrival for the 2 nights stay made us feel untrustworthy , obviously the owner has had a bad experience with people walking out without paying. The owner could be seen as overly helpful. But we thought for the money it was well worth it . I had the best night sleep there.

I had done booking through Makemytrip and paid online.When I arrived in villa they were not aware about make my trip only and they were not ready to accept my payment. I paid there again at villa. It was double for me. So they don't want to take any initiative n rectify Wat is the problem.They just told no even though they got an confirmation mail from Makemytrip.Never pay online u will loose ur money.

Really nice and accommodating host. For the price can't beat it. Set back from the beach by a bit so it is much quieter. Bathroom simple but functional, no AC.

Vary nice Location & budgeted room rates. Very helpful & friendly owner. Beach is in walking distance. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay here. Friendly and helpful hosts, clean and comfy room with good AC and in a peaceful location set one road back from the busy beach street surrounded by lush trees and birds. We loved the terrace area and the home cooked dinner too!

The rooms are budget friendly so is the food recommended to travel if you are on a very tight budget.
