The clerk who dealt with us was extremely rude both upon renting the car and returning it. I have used Eurpocar many times in the past and have never been treated so poorly. I rented the car for 4 days, was not told where to return it, and chastised for not parking in the proper place which she had not mentioned. I asked for her name and she refused to tell me. I asked for the manager who finally came out. After explaining the situation, he said he would credit my account for the charges. He did not do it. I just checked my credit card balance and it still shows paid. I intend to notify the credit card company and the corporate headquarters of Europcar to express my total displeasure. From now on, it's Avis for me.

they automatically withdraw more money from my bank account after everything is done and without notice before renting the car. I called them and they said that there was a problem on the system so I needed to send an email, but no one answered when I sent an email. Called back many times, no answer Shouldn't rent the car if you don't wanna lost money without any reason!!!!!

Convenient location and pleasant staff. My one suggestion is Europcar provide written instructions for customers not entirely familiar with renting a car in a crowded urban location (versus, say, an airport). Picking up the car in Place D'Italie was confusing for someone who doesn't speak French... returning the car at Gare Du Nord was a nightmare.

It's a scam. They charged the credit card without confirming the reservation, and the car wasn't available when we went to get it, leaving us high and dry with no warning at all. And they don't even give the money back right away, but try to drown you in paperwork.

Minus: First: opening hours communicated via email are incorrect. Second: they never answer the calls (confirmed by the clerks), so impossible to get in touch with the agency. Third: the first clerk was extremely rude, asking us to leave the agency. Fourth: camion was super dirty - nobody cleaned it since weeks. Don’t know how can be compliant with COVID rules… Plus: The second clerk who helped us to get the camion (after the first one asked us to leave the agency) was kind and smiling. Summarising: never again, at least in this agency
