We did the 4 day Jungle/Pampas tour. One of the best experiences I've had. Lots of amazing views, amazing animals. The food is surprisingly good for being in the jungle. The lodges are nice. Our guide Ronny was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable The jungle lodge is well a lodge in the jungle. It's incredibly nice but don't expect things like hot water or cell service.

The tour with mashaquipe eco tours was great. Our guide, who grew up in the jungle, knew everything about the trees, plants and animals. We booked a 5 days tour, 3 in the jungle and 2 in the Pampa and it was overwhelming. The base camps are pretty luxurious and the food deserves 10 stars as they make it on fire and for many people. You can choose pretty flexible what you want to do, from building your own camp in the jungle to fishing or having a deeper look in medical plants. The guides treat the forest and animals good, they don’t feed animals to make them come or leave trash in the serva. It was a breath taking experience and we recommend it to everyone that wants to know more about the beauty of Bolivia.

What an experience in the deep, deep jungle for 4 nights and 5 days. Everything has been very well organized with practically no down time except of course for programmed chill hours which were very necessary. The food was excellent, unbelievable given the conditions in fact with a proper chef cooking. The accomodation was very simple, particularly in depth of the jungle but we were always well looked after. In Pampas ee even had a warm private shower. This is the jungles so you need to expect things to be rustic and a lot, but I mean a lot of insect bites and intruders in general. All worthwhile with a trustworthy company. On the last day I forgot my ‘traveling phone’ and these honest hardworking people even returned it back to me all the way to La Paz.

Amazing! Nilo and Domingo were wonderful guides who went out of their way to point out wildlife that we said we were interested in seeing. We did 4D/3N combo tour, and it was perfect. The lodges in both the jungle and the pampas were way nicer than I had expected, the food was amazing, the guides were great — everything was fantastic. 10/10 would go on a tour with then again. Best tour operator in town.

We could not be happier to have chosen Mashaquipe as our tour agency. We did the 5 day tour, spending 3 days in the Jungle and 2 days in the Pampa. It was a real adventure, we did jungle hikes, night hikes, camped in the jungle, watched wild life, searched for animals, went by boot on the river and learned a lot about plants, animals and the environment. Our guide was speaking englisch very well, he was highly professional and very knowledgeable. The staff and lodges are simple awesome! The beds are comfy and come with mosquito protection. The room and the bathroom was very clean. The food they offer was delicious and so much! If you have any allergies, intolerances or if you are celiac, just let them know, they take care. What means in my case gluten free food was not a problem at all. During the low season there are just a few tourists. In our case we were just the two of us in the jungle and 4 people in total in the pampas. What we liked the most was that they take care about the environment and the animals. We were very lucky and could see a lot of animals. We highly recommend this tour agency!

We book MASHAQUIPE TOURS before landing (after browsing other agencies) because of their profesional staff on WhatsApp. We did the 4n& 3 days: Jungle & Pampas. Once arrived in Rurenabaque, the experience totally exceeded our expectations. - When we landed, MASHAQUIPE was waiting at the terminal & was the biggest group. We were divided in groups of 6 people. - ANDRES our guide was very knowledgeable (he is born in Rure), fun and gracious. We couldn’t have asked for more! - The lodging was well done, super nice, warm water. Food was excellent, abundant and delicious. - Staff in general were attentive and professional. - We has so much fun! We will cherish those memories for a long time!

We did a 4D/3N combined madidi and pampas tour with this wonderful agency. Our guide- Yoma- was amazing. He was super friendly at all times, very organized, shared an incredible amount of information about the jungle with us and was really fun to hang out with. The whole tour from pick up to drop off was super well organized. Everything being on time at all times. Staff at the camp was great, super friendly, open minded and very helpful at all times. Food and accommodation were great. One night, our guide built us a little tent out of palm leaves at the beach, the other nights were in super comfortable cabins (warm water included). Food was also super delicious, with great variety and fresh fruit. My boyfriend unfortunately started the trip with food poising and everyone was super concerned, prepared and brought him medicine and checked in with him which gave us a very secure feeling even though the whole situation was a bit tense. If you have time, spend more time in madidi than in pampas, as there is so much more to see and explore. Thanks to the whole team of mashequipe!!

Absolutely amazing experience! My girlfriend and I did the 4 day jungle tour, and it was exactly what we wanted! I will clearly state there is a lot of hiking, it was hot, there are a lot of bugs but it's the jungle what do you expect. The first day our cabin they had us in was amazing better than some hostels. The other 2 nights, you're camping with bug nets and a blanket, not that you need it with the heat. This was mid-October. The food was all amazing never once was it bad, so thats fantastic. Our guide Juan was the perfect person for the job. From the area, this man could point to any plant, name it and then give you all the medicinal benefits. It was a proper jungle tour with him slashing and making us a path through the bush to find monkeys. 100% recommend but know what you are getting into! For Juan and the food alone it was well worth the cost!

A great indigenous-ran company with a lot of care for the environment and wildlife. Our guide was Domingo and he really went above and beyond. He had so much charisma and was really funny, whilst also being a font of knowledge about everything. It isn't sold as a wildlife tour but we saw so many different animals in Madidi and Pampas. The lodges are really comfortable and the staff there are very attentive. The food was traditional home cooked Bolivian cuisine and delicious! 100% recommend.

Can't recommended this company enough. We had the most AMAZING Pampas tour. Our guide Domingo was just brilliant he had such a good eye for spotting wildlife and was so Knowledgeable. I fell ill during our stay and he really looked after me. All the staff at Mashaquipe were friendly and professional. If you're looking to book an Amazon tour in Bolivia this is the company to do it with! The lodge is so comfortable and clean and the food is delicious. Great value for money. A 10/10 experience

We did the 6 day 5 night jungle and pampas tour with Juan and it was amazing! We spent 4 days in the jungle, slashing thru the bush and camping. The 2 days in the pampas were great for seeing wildlife. Although it was the dry season in October we got to see snakes, monkeys, capybara, macaws, toucans, caimans and the pink dolphins. Food was amazing every day too :)

I did the 4 days, 3 nights combo tour (jungle + pampas) and it was one of the best experiences I have had while travelling overseas. In the jungle you spend time in the Amazon learning about native plants and their uses, how to build a raft (and then using it to get back to your accommodation), and visiting an indigenous community, and of course looking for animals such as various species of monkeys, birds, spiders, snakes, and other animals. Then in the pampas you will spend time on a boat viewing capybaras, caimans, turtles, birds, and dolphins, as well as time off the boat looking for anacondas, monkeys, and other animals. There is also piranha fishing, which you can eat for dinner, and in the wet season swimming with the freshwater dolphins. While you see more animals in the pampas, the jungle is where you experience more of the Amazon, and spend more time trekking. I would recommend a combo tour to get the best of both worlds. The food is great, really delicious, and the accommodation is comfortable enough for what it is. However, be aware that the jungle tour requires hours (3-4 hrs) of consecutive hiking, so if you are not fit, then it can be very tiring. Also note that the temperature is extremely hot most days, and you need to wear long pants so that you don't get scratched by trees, or get bitten by ants or snakes. Note that luck plays a part, as the animals may not be easy to find in the jungle (in the pampas they are always there), but having a good guide is the biggest factor. I had Wilmar, an English-speaking guide who grew up in the jungle. He has so much experience, he can call to monkeys by mimicking their calls, and can hear animals from over a hundred metres away. I was so impressed when he would pause, then run into the jungle (off the track) with the group following for over a minute, and then above us would be a group of squirrel monkeys. He could also create fans and water bottle holders out of plants in the jungle. Extremely resourceful, and very funny and friendly person. If you could request Wilmar, I recommend you do so. Thanks again Mashaquipe and especially Wilmar for a fantastic tour! Also, had to postpone the tour by one day at the last minute because of flight issues, but Mashaquipe accommodated with no issues at all. Fantastic service :)

Incredible friendly and customer oriented staff! They’re more expensive than other operators but they will make your stay worth every penny. For example at every place you arrive you get a welcome drink, the food is delicious and our guide Jairo made the tour perfect. Besides the tour operator the nature is incredible and I loved all the animals we’ve seen on our tour. (We went even though the current situation isn’t ideal, low water level in rivers + wild fires. Had a great time anyway. )

Great experience. Mashaquipe were very organised and their front office very friendly. We did a 3 day pampas tour and really enjoyed it. Our guide Nilo was great at spotting wildlife and explaining more about the environment. Would recommend!
