3 days in their ecolodge in the pampas and the experience was mindblowing. The nature is incredible. Their lodges are absolute luxury compared to other agencies our boat went past. Private cabins with private bathroom and mosquito nets all around. Wonderful shared space where meals are prepared in good sized portions. Two hot meals a day and a wonderful breakfast to get you ready for the diverse activities. Our guide was on point when it came to timing and we were never be bored. This does not mean you will be exhausted because a daily siesta is offered after lunch which was very welcome. I can only recommend this agency over others, as they are very correct in dealing with their customers.

We did a 3 day tour to the pampas and absolutely loved it. The staff was super nice and treated us correctly, the lodge was beautiful and functional, overall the best lodge of all the other ones we passed, and the food was delicious and never too little. The programme is amazing, there are always things to do and the guide was very on point with his timing, which was very nice. You can never feel entitled to see any animal, but chances you´ll see them in the pampas are better than in the selva. If you´re lucky, you´ll have even monkeys, capibaras, iguanas and a cayman outside your cabaña. You´ll definitely see a lot of birds, I feel like seeing dolphins is also a guarantee and if you´re really lucky, you´ll see an anaconda. Swimming in the river with the dolphins might seem scary as it´s the same river where the cayman, piranha and anaconda live, but it's safe and 100% the experience of a lifetime.

We did the 3 days and two nights pampas tour with Dolphin Travels and really enjoyed it! Dolphin travels was really flexible as we were able to go on the tour the same day we arrived in Rurrenabaque without pre booking. We were accompanied by a local, fluent English guide (Oscar) who showed us the special features of the area (animals like anacondas, monkeys, piranhas, caimans etc) and was super nice and helpful. On top of that the lodge we stayed in was beautiful and special! From what we could see it was by far the best of all companies around. Dolphin travels really has an amazing team, which guarantees an unique experience in the jungle of Bolivia. In summary, we can highly recommend doing tours with dolphin travels!

A professional company! We had a great 3 day experience in the pampas of Bolivia. Excellent knowledgeable friendly guide from a jungle village who knew a lot about the plants and animals. The food was great! varied, tasty, and plenty of it. Accommodation comfortable for being in the middle of the jungle. Beds had mosquito nets. We would recommend.

We took this tour (couple) and together with 3 other people we had 3 lovely days. The weather was beautiful, and our guide Sergio was very experienced. The lodges are quite luxery, we had a private room with klamboe, toilet and refreshing shower. Thanks to Daniel and Rosa for the hospitality and delicious/amazing food. I think I gained a couple of pounds in weight 😉.

On this tour I felt really looked after. We had amazing accommodation, an excellent knowledgeable guide and the food was superb. We saw all the animals we were promised to see, pink river dolphins being the highlight. I highly recommend this company for the pampas tour I won’t forget it !!

I did the three day, 2 nights pampas tour with them. I did npt pre-book but just came off the night bus and was able to go with them the same day and leave on the night bus back to La Paz on the last day. The staff from the office, the guide and the cooks were all great and they seemed to really be ethical when it comes to the tour, the nature and the animals. The accomodation seemed to be the nicest around as far as I could tell. We saw a lot of animals thanks to our great guide. Can highly recommend this company.

I would 100% recommend doing the las pampas tour with Dolphin agency. The tours leave at 9 which is perfect timing if you've just come off the night bus. In the office they have free water & strong wifi and they are very, very nice people. We were the only company with a 4x4 which was necessary as the roads were in dire condition after unseasonal rain. We met our guide, Chako who's knowledge of wildlife was incredible. He was calling back to all the animals and I have no idea how he found all the animals that he did. The food was the best we've had in Bolivia and there was plenty of it. The accommodation was fabulous and electricity was made accessible for a few hours in the evenings. They even gave us a cake (thanks Rosa) and a bottle of wine too on the last night & when we arrived back to the agency, we were greeted with a nice cup of Coca-Cola. Honestly, I couldn't fault a thing and will be telling everyone to go with Dolphin tours!

Señor Ivan is a good tourist guide. He’s knowledgeable and very funny as well. The lodge are beautiful and very jungle-ish. We didn’t get lost in the jungle because he knew the run around very well. Food was also nice, thanks to our Chef Señora (mother of yarita). Everything was so delicious and perfect! I’m so happy you joined our tour! Thank you so much! Also, the driver was good. He made me a ring out of wild mango seed and he knew the location very well. Where to fish and etc. He isn’t an aggressive drive and everything went smooth and easy! I highly recommend the Dolphins Travel. You wouldn’t regret it!️❤️

This tour office got recommended by our hostel owner as the best office in town. Licensed guides with actual wildlife knowledge, good cookes, good transportation and great accomodation. All was true. Office did a great job managing expactations, because the river was dry and we weren't sure we could reach all the destinations. Ended up being able to do everything and we saw a great number of animals (including anaconda). Guide (oscar) knows everything! On the way back i left my phone in the car. They dropped it off at the hostel i was staying. Great people, great tour!

My partner and I knew we wanted to use dolphin travel before we arrived in Rurrenabaque as they had rep for being the most eco-friendly from various blogs/reviews, despite being more expensive than other tour companies. We did the 3 day, 2 night Pampas tour (1500 BOB each). Prepare for a very hot and bumpy approx 3 hour journey to the eco-lodge site in a well used 4x4. We had another couple in our group (a group of 4-6 seems to be standard) with one guide. Accomodation and food get top marks! You get fed very well 3 buffet meals a day (veggie options) and given the location the accommodation is very good (only downside is the shower is more of a leak than a shower but still gets you clean!) The boat trips up and down the pampas were great; we saw loads of birds, cayman, turtles capybara and small monkeys. Lovely noises the whole time. We saw a huge crocodile (video). Unfortunately, just 3 weeks before we arrived there had been some fires in the area and so it was hard to find any anacondas on the walk ( although we did see a howler monkey!) The fires also made the sunset view more sad. Note re. The anaconda walk - we went in mid October, so it wasn't high Mosquito season but there were lots of ticks! So depending when you go, I would recommend bringing a tick remover with you! We got quite a few and had to borrow the tick remover from the other couple in our group once they were finished! We also swam with the pink river dolphins on the last day, in a spot further down the river we had not visited before. The main reason it's not 5 star is our tour guide. He was fine, just seemed to do the bare minimum so you had to extract info from him more so than it being volunteered. I will say that another tour guide for one of the other groups with dolphin travel seemed better so perhaps it varies. It just left us feeling a little like something was missing. But overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend it. Without having gone with the other agencies, I would think it's just about worth the extra compared to other companies, but obviously can't guarantee it.

Had a fantastic experience on the three day pampas tour with Dolphin! The tour guides were great at spotting animals, they cared a lot about caring for the environment too. The lodges were the nicest in the area and the food was incredible! I'm glad we paid a little more for this tour compared to other companies!
