I travelled all the way from US to get my grandmother some treatment. My dad has recently traveled to get surgery and she’s been having follow up appointments every week. The staff is so unprofessional and downright disgusting. They’ll make patients wait 3-4 hours to get seen by doctors. The doctors are not well trained. I don’t know where they got their licenses. They get angry if you have questions about your own health or your loved ones health. I guess they just expect you to understand everything. If I was back home I will do anything to report this facility but I have no option to do that in Ethiopia. I don’t know who to report or speak to. They’re very greedy and money hungry. That’s their first priority not your health so if you don’t wanna be blind and broke please avoid this place at all cost

I am very happy n proud to review this center. I have been to a couple of appointments so far. I am one Dr. Cherinet's patients. Not only is it highly specialized n professional, it's one of the cleanest n highly organized medical centers I have encountered in Addis. It's beyond the country's health care state. The environment,starting from the parking assistants, upto the receptionists,nurses n health care assistants, is the most friendly n helpful staff ever. Don't even get me started on the ophthalmologists. They are incredibly professional, knowledgeable,informative willing to help. They discuss and explain your eye care n options on how to go about it. Which is more than what could b said for most of the Ethiopian health care system professional.they go out of their way to accommodate for special needs of their patients. Excellent guidance is also available for keeping up with appointments.i am beyond impressed. I would have given it more stars if it was possible. Receptionists are so unprofessional. I was told to just sit and wait to be called, but after 20 mins wait I had to ask a staff at the counter which she asked me if i had paid the registration fee already. I told her I was just asked to wait then without no apology she received my payment and ask me to wait again. Once I entered the eye dr office after 1 hr wait, he inspected my eyes and suggested injection same day without even confirming the cause of my eye issue. I insisted for scheduling and left. I Iater learnt that without controlling hypertension the injection is not proper. It shows all they care about is your money not your well being :( Try another clinic or specialist for your precious eyes

They tried to charge me 1400 etb for eye exam just because I was foreign. And they wanted me to pay in Dollar. The Staff is rude and the place looks like a public hospital. I went to Dalia and got a exam for 400 etb. The place is cleaner and the staff is friendly to both Ethiopian and Foreigners. I highly recommend you stay away from these scammers....

Highly specialised eye clinic in the centre of Addis Ababa that is really busy all the time. Even though it is perhaps the most expensive eye clinic around, it is undoubtedly the best in the country. It owes this to the care, skills, ability and gentle handling of patients by staff. This is my favourite place for check ups.

Well organized! The entire building is very clean including the restrooms. Their patient care is amazing. They use computerized system so there is no paper work. The cashier, the doctors' offices and the pharmacy all are connected on a computer system. The price might seem expensive but it's worth it. An entire building dedicated to your eyes care. The best in Addis Ababa.

Although the location is convenient, there is very acute problem of parking. Additionally, the reception and other spaces are quite crammed, with long queues to see a doctor. For instance, it took me 3 hours of waiting in the crowded reception to see a doctor. Otherwise, they have good doctors and good service.

The worst incoming patient handling,I have waited more than 3 hours to checkup my dad who is more than 80.

The patient number is more than the available doctors, and the nurse are not arranging the patients.
