Private hospital

😠 If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They have poor service meaning they won’t check up on your loved one saying “you call them”, “there’s no nurse/doctor”, “don’t you have family” (knowing no one can enter). My mother is a US citizen and we were in the process of transferring her to another... People often mention hospital, family, care, brother, money, patients, passed, Yerer,

They do not provide basic medical services for COVID patients. No IV fluids, they do not provide food. My family member had to purchase her own blood oxygen monitor. There are not doctors present on site during the night. They will extort you for money whenever possible. They get offended if you ask to transfer your family member somewhere else. The only thing they will do is provide Oxygen and collect hospital bills. My family member passed away because of this hospital. With full medical care she would have survived.

The orthopedic there dr. Tewodros has to put a cast on my broken wrist, I complained about the unusual pain I was feeling on the next day after the procidure he told me it would suppose to fell that way and he desmised my complain without runing any test on me, after 6 weeks of wearing the cast when the cast is removed my hand was healed on the wrong way I can't move my hand properly and it hurts evertime I try to hold something, the dr. didn't even want to take responsibility of the mistke he made, I consulted different doctors Since then and they all tell me I need a surgical procidure to fix it , I'll definitely sue the hospital for what dr.Tewodros did to me

I am sorry to say that my brother who passed away at this hospital and his family did not have a pleasant experience. My brother was hospitalized due to COVID. When he passed away the doctor who was in attendance Doctor Anteneh did not have the courtesy to walk to my brothel's wife and his children who were waiting outside the hospital to let them know of his condition. He simply called her on the phone and said without empathy that her husband my brother have passed. It was so rude and insensitive. Please show empathy for the family. Money is not everything. They were quick to ask my brother's family without any explanation as to why..... 2nd after my sister and I arrived in Addis and after the funeral of my brother we called the owner of the hospital to ask if we can talk to him. My first interaction was with the receptionist, when I asked her if we can talk to the owner of the hospital and also doctor Anteneh. She asked us why? I explained to her my brother was a the hospital and that he passed away and that I would like to understand how. The receptionist has no empathy. She said here is the number. No word of sympathy. Then I called the owner of the hospital. I said the same thing and asked him to meet with him. I also asked where the hospital was, he said you are asking me the address of the hospital? And you want to know about a patient whom you did not see at all. I said, we may not have seen him but we talked to him via phone since we were overseas. He also did not show any sign of empathy, no word saying so sorry about your brother, we have done all what we could. Oh No, instead he was on the defensive, all we wanted to hear was how our brother was treated. I would not recommend Yerer hospital to anyone with COVID. The only positive thing was a young doctor called Tsion who showed us empathy and concern and continuously answered our phone calls and shared the status of my brother with us. I called her after my brother passed and she answered the phone and explained what happened to him and answered any questions we we had. Having said that, the rest of the hospital staff including the owner, the receptionist and Doctor Anteneh were very insensitive and unsupportive and were not willing to answer any questions. Dr. Anteneh was not only unsupportive he was rude and did not care and did not know how to share bad news with our family.

Supposedly, this is a private hospital. It is appalling how the owners read all these negative reviews and tend to ignore it. -> -> -> IT IS QUESTIONABLE!!!

I wouldn't comeback if this place was the only hospital remaining, I'd rather take my chances with traditional healers.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. They have poor service meaning they won’t check up on your loved one saying “you call them”, “there’s no nurse/doctor”, “don’t you have family” (knowing no one can enter). My mother is a US citizen and we were in the process of transferring her to another hospital, but they delayed her stay by 3 1/2 days (she’s in critical condition in need of ICU level of care) for more money even though our family paid over the asking amount. After my mother finally got medical evacuation they refunded my family saying we did in fact pay an extra amount. This delay resulted in the death of my mother. Try to get your family out of this place as soon as you can. None of the staff (including the doctors) care about patients, only money.

I just had a C-section a month ago. I love all the treatment they give me. The hospital is clean and the service was 24 hours. It was a bit expensive but I will say it is worth every penny.

My families and I have been visiting Yerer Hospital for many years when the need arises. It is a VERTICALLY INTEGRATED hospital. Being VERTICAL saves a lot of time, reduce frustration and others as all know. We are happy with services being rendered .

Booked an appointment 8:30 am for critically ill patient. Its 12:45 and we are yet to speak to anyone let alone see a doctor. Receptionist staff are the source of the problem and have no business being employed in the healthcare sector…whoever owns this hospital should reflect on this if they want to cont. having a business
