We actually visited this establishment a couple of times during our stay in Paris and both times were excellent and yet completely different. First time we sat outside in the cozy cobblestone street and people watched and the second time upstairs in what felt more like a nightclub setting with low lighting and louder music. Two completely different experiences under the one roof.

This place in the heart of Paris is pretty awesome. It’s set over a few floors and with a little bit of magic and a lot of charm it pulls off the trick of offering a range of experiences under the one roof without compromising any of them. You want a casual, friendly but classy pub space and maybe catch a game on the big screen? Check. You want a nice spot for dinner with some beautiful cooked classic meals and a great bottle of wine? Check. You want to hang out and shoot the breeze in the cocktail bar? No problem. You can even retire to a ‘private’ pool room and shoot a few frames. The friendly, attentive service you get throughout from Richard and his team is first class. Whatever you choose to do, you’ll feel that the place was designed just for that - not one of these experiences interferes with the other. And if you choose a bit of everything you can make a real evening of it… I know, I already have. Bravo!

The food was good, but it was the friendly greetings and attentive service that really made the place stand out. The servers listened to our requests, had ingredients ready for us, took our drink orders, returned promptly, and kept the place clean. The ambience at Pub St Germain is elegant, but not overly stuffy. In the evening, the restaurant looks beautiful and very inviting. The location was convenient for us, too and would recommend to visit if you are in the area.

Amazing service, most welcoming bartenders. Salim is wonderful bartender, never felt so welcome in any bar like in st germain. Bartenders made our experience so good. It is our favourite pub in Paris and we will be back for sure!

LOCATION: Super central for a meet-up in the Latin quarter. Just around the corner from the Main Street. AMBIANCE: beautiful pub, and attracts students and professionals. PRODUCT: good prices and selections for happy hour. We got some IPA beers on tap (delicious) and tapas (€10 each). SERVICE: friendly and multilingual

After drinking a pint and setting up the board for a game of chess with my dad we didn't start for half on hour as we were chatting in front of the board. Wanted to order food and asked for the menu. That's when the bartender told us not to play chess, because it's illegal. I didn't want to stay there any longer, we paid and left. The definition of " convivialité". I'm sure the food is good, but I can't tell ,just the experience was extremely unpleasant.

Very cozy and spacious place, nice background music, decoration and lights. The food is tasty, generous portions, very well presented and the service is excellent. We would recommend it for families and bigger groups looking for a spacious quality restaurant.

This pub has history behind it and it's situated in a lovely street, just outside the noise from the main boulevard. It's a great place to stop for drinks or to grab a bite. The staff was polite everytime we came here. The food was tasty and at a fair price and we also recommend to try some of the cocktails.

Food was quite good. We had risotto balls with pesto sauce. We also had baked camembert that was supposed to be flambeed but they never came to flambee it. Never asked if we wanted water. French restaurant and they don't have any Bordeaux wine, or any french reds in stock. Burger was very good. Service is nonexistent. Hard to get anyone to seat you, serve you.

Really nice place, with great ambiance and beautiful cosy street feel at the back, but... My mac and cheese was far away from any standards and service there was a bit absent. I wasn't that hungry after all so overall I enjoyed it. :)

Amazing food in small typical Parisian passage, next to famous café Procope. When we had lunch last Monday, the place was really quiet and we could wind off from Parisian regular traffic. I ordered a Dos de saumon and the chocolate cake and everything was delicious. Excellent service.

We called in for a few cocktails. The music was good and cocktails were tasty. We tried a few but the Espresso Martini & The Sunburn were the best.

PUB St GERMAIN is such a fun spot to grab a quick drink or dinner! Nestled between a quaint alleyway and busier street, you can sit on either the alley side for food and drinks or street side (which has more of a pub feel) if you’re going there for just drinks. My partner and I visited this location in the early evening around 5pm. It was not busy at all at this time and we even had most of the place to ourselves. The bartenders and wait staff were so friendly and on top of everything - it felt like we were well attended to and really taken care of. This pub is situated in a great area of town, which makes it a convenient spot for pre-dinner drinks or appetizers if you do have reservations elsewhere later in the evening. I recommend giving PUB St GERMAIN a visit and trying the St Germain Spritz while you are there - it only feels appropriate!

American couple traveling through Paris. Fun restaurant. Very nice and attentive staff. We come from a state where beef is a source of local pride so I almost never order a steak. However, I chose to do so here and the ribeye was good! Highly recommend this place. Absolutely great location. Fun, lots of local French folks.

Nice place in a busy passage only with restaurants. Dinner: burger, chicken burger, stake, St Germain cocktail, beer. The food was OK, but I like the most the atmosphere.

The food, amazing and the portions are perfect. The prices, though, are out of control. First off, we have to talk about the staff. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. They do their best to accommodate you and any questions you may have. They’ll help you with menu options as well. For instance, the menu is extremely limited and it has no sign of a kid’s menu. However, there is a kid’s menu and they will take you through it, just ask. Btw, the kids menu is a drink, chicken strips or burger with fries, and a small dessert, which is different flavors of ice cream. The restaurant is gorgeous. With an atmosphere that not only relaxes you but makes you excited to be transported to a large pseudo speakeasy, the restaurant is perfectly decorated and staged. Plentiful seating throughout this enchanted, multilevel tavern exist, so I don’t think you’ll need to worry about a reservation. Also, just know that the bathrooms are on the top floor and they are very clean. Unlike the food menu, the drink menu is huge. I had an old fashion and it was good just not the best I’ve had. There was no cherry and I couldn’t taste the bitters. My wife had a Les blues which just tasted like strong grapefruit juice. The drinks were my least favorite thing about this place. The food was good but not €108 good. We had the kid’s menu burger, two fish and chips, and a pulled pork burger. All was delicious and filling. Fries come with all we had. The fish and chips are just fries and one large piece of fish (no bones, thank God!). The good news is that even though expensive, the food came out fast and hot. Overall, this isn’t a bad place, but know you’re going to spend at least around €100 on lunch for four people. Enjoy.

Excellent and friendly service. Our waiter was very kind and attentive. The truffle mac and cheese and the fish and chips were delicious. A nice list of French wines and local French beers. The French crepe was a perfect way to finish the meal.

Restaurant located in a really cozy street, with both indoor and outdoor sitting. They had a daily menu with good and filling options for a reasonable price (around 20€, with dessert included), as well as the usual menu. Apart from our order, we also got free tap water and bread, which is always nice. Moreover, the bathroom was clean and spacious. I can confidently recommend this place and will go again of I'm ever around the area.

I love this place! Their food, music and drinks are just excellent and the ambiance is perfect! Whether it's for a quite afternoon or a funny night out they always are on top of their game and provide an excellent service. Plus they are now playing the F1 races on Sundays and I go there with my friends it's soooo good to have a friendly place like that! So highly recommend. A special big thanks to Ofec for the unique delicious cocktails, and to the entire teqm for the one of a kind service! I'll be back for sure ✨

My husband and I made a reservation to eat at Pub St. Germain earlier this week. When we arrived it was nearly empty and we asked to sit in their little outdoor area. We immediately noticed how slow the service was despite only about two other tables of customers. We were given a drink menu and we ordered a bottle of wine thinking we were going to eat dinner. The bottle we wanted was no longer in stock and the waiter recommended a different bottle. We had been looking at bottles in a different price range and chose the other we were considering. This clearly bothered the waiter. It's not like this is fine dining. We simply wanted an affordable bottle of wine. After we received the wine we asked if we were able to order food outside (because we weren't ever given a food menu). We were told yes and if we wanted the menu in English we would have to go inside and scan the QR code on the tables in there. Not a problem. The problem is that we then sat for an hour waiting for our server to return to take our food order. After a half hour the host or manager had come out with an English menu and we replied that we looked at the English menu through the QR code as instructed and were ready to order. The waiter never came back. I had glanced inside and he was walking around doing seemingly nothing. We considered leaving but regrettably had ordered a bottle of wine. We went in to pay for the bottle (the waiter was rude about that too) and left. I wish I had addressed it with the host/manager at the time but I honestly just wanted to leave and go to a restaurant that would have more respect of my time and perhaps serve me food! Bottom line, this restaurant couldn't attract customers in a very busy area and then ran out the two that were previously excited to eat there.

A beautiful place, full of life. Nice food, sweet drinks. The staff is helpful, even thought a bit slow (but that's ok considering the amount of people that they can welcome) I recommend it for anyone that want to come to enjoy a good drink and eat some nice food

Nice bar to have a drink. A big variety of tap beers. My fav Red La Bête. We were late for happy hours but still good price for beer.

We accidentally came by this place, so I am writing this review for those who wanna spontaneously choose this pub. If you like sports, this is the place for you, great ambiance and TV screens everywhere. But if you are not there to watch a match, it can be too loud. There is also not a vast variety of dishes offered if you wanna have different choices for your meal. The service is fast! Thank you, pub st germain!

We had a blast at Pub Saint Germain. Located in the heart of the Saint Germain des Prés neighbourhood, easily accessible from the notre dame sation, the vibe inside is awesome, looked like an authentic jameson irish pub. Ambiance is warm, music was fantastic (Arctic Monkeys & Tame Impala) plus the drinks were really good and the food is delicious! Very recommended for a cozy night out with friends!

We found this street by accident, and so happy we did. Their champagne was great. We split the salmon special where they pour some cream sauce over it. I would love the name of the sauce, I lapped up every drop with my bread. We wished we had each ordered one instead of sharing.

Overall a nice and spacious place with helpful and warm stuff and okay food. Stake was huge and well delivered overall. The truffle penne is a bit underwhelming and sticky, not as good as expected.

Arrived around 7.45pm and asked for a table for food and drinks. Hostess offered for us to sit at the bar and wait for a few minutes as another table was paying their bill. We were forgotten about and left there with no follow up for over 30mins and no food menus. Eventually caught the hostesses attention and asked for a table again and were seated. Ordered a starter to share, two main courses and two drinks. Drinks and starter arrived promptly, but unfortunately we were forgotten about again. We were unable to catch anyones attention for over 40mins after finishing our starter but eventually spoke to a waiter and told him. Nothing was done, the plates and empty glasses weren't even taken away. Another 30 mins passed until our original waitress reappeared and told us our food was on the way. We waited another 15 mins and were told the same again, no offer for another drink order and still no water for the table at this point. At 10pm we asked to cancel our order and pay the bill but the staff said the food is coming, another minute later it appeared and we reluctantly ate what was a sad looking steak and "supreme" chicken in 10 mins, paid (in full) and left. A bit sickened the experience cost us almost 3 hours and over €90. Staff were friendly but totally disorganised. Wouldn't recommend.

We had a delicious lunch: Papardelle was light, yummy and creamy. Fish and chips was amazing! Specially the fish was fried to perfection and full of flavor. Service was great and the place has good ambiance (and air conditioning). Loved it here.

Yuck. I had a burger, the flavor was terrible. I didn’t eat it. Also. I am allergic to wheat and eggs, asked the waitress to leave off the bun and sauce. She and I had a big long convo about it and it arrived with both and undercooked. My husband had the ribeye - it was not good and he does not complain ever and only ate a bit. And on top of it she charged us $22 for some buttered noodles for my 10 year old. Would highly not recommend.

Coolest bar in Paris! I had so much fun here. Security could be a little more relaxed but overall a great experience. The DJ kept it lively the entire night! She was awesome!! And the bar tenders were all tentative. No waiting around to get drinks.

Starters we're really delicious. The main course came 7 minutes after we order and were cold! Definitely pre-prepared dishes were served to us. Such a shame. I would give it three stars but the place is visually very beautiful.

  • 5/5 Bettina B. 1 year ago on Google
The place is quite pricey, you can easily spend 70-80 euros for two people without ordering anything fancy. We ate fish 'n' chips, which was okay, not the best I ate, but not the worse either. If you pick something more fancy, you get very good quality though. I recommend to taste their home made ice tea.

Huge portion of a tasty Ceasar Salad. I only wish the chicken had been a bit more seasoned. It became slighty stale in comparison to the other flavours. Regardless, I arrived very hungry and left extremely full - even struggled to eat the final pieces of salad and chicken.

Such a perfect find. Great to escape the heat and enjoy some perfectly prepared cocktails and cold beers. Delicious appetizers to be had too. The bathroom were the cleanest in all of Europe and their whole team is friendly and welcoming. A good location to enjoy and coffee or beers and get some work done.

A cool place with cosy and comfy seating!Cool music atmosphere. Very friendly staff and drinks are good. However lacking some fine gestures, as half our drinks were 10 minutes later than the rest and we had no napkins for the dripping glasses. I saw my drink ready on the bar for more than 5-10min with ice cubes in it and was served after i asked about the delay, which obviously wasn’t as expected because of the already melting ice. That was kind of a bummer.

Spent the evening here with three friends, Batman Colm was engaging, enthusiastic and hilarious! The food was fantastic and the range of drinks was brilliant. One of the best bars and barmen I have encountered in my time living in Paris. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Had the best evening at Pub St Germain! We were initially greeted with a warm welcome from Richard who seated us so we could watch the rugby. We ended up staying the rest of the evening because the pub/bar had a great vibe and served good food and drinks. The sharing platter was superb! We felt really looked after by Richard and the whole team!
