Have eaten here multiple times and every time the service has been excellent and the food very good. We have tried multiple dishes here including the chicken Cesar salad, salmon bowl, Scottish salmon and penne with minced chicken! We don’t have one favorite dish as all have been excellent! We look forward to our next visit and finding something new and different to try. If you are in the area you can’t go wrong with a visit to Le Cafe de la Régence

Pleasant service and warm welcome. We were served by a professional waiter indeed. Food arrived fast - soft beef steak nicely prepared, firm salmon but could use more spices. Nice view!

We had a nice lunch at Le Café de la Régence. Everything that we tried was pretty good (French onion soup, poke bowl, salmon tartar and crepe with nutella and bananas). Service was quick and attentive. Our waitress was easy to find and was very friendly.

Lovely little restaurant by the Louvre. Service was great, atmosphere was relaxing. I had the duck confit and it was good but not great. Would go again but perhaps try another dish. Prices were a bit high but as expected for the area.

Nice location. Good Italian food, pasta sauce is one of the good ones. Won’t recommend roast chicken or the poke bowl both were dry and did not taste anything. Desserts are good, specially brownie with ice cream. Drinks were okay. They claim to have Lego set of the Louvre which is exclusively made for them by Lego and it’s the only one in the world! I think that’s quite cool 👍

Right across from the Louvre, there's a traditional French restaurant. I must admit, from its location, layout, decor, to the menu design, it's an incredibly lavish establishment. They offer homemade red wine. We ordered four main courses, three appetizers, and four different drinks. All of them tasted fantastic. The staff were very professional and gentlemanly. The prices were also reasonable, especially for that location.

Delicious food, very spacious inside. Plenty of seating with two floors and some outside tables. The duck leg with potatoes was exceptional, crispy potatoes. Large Caesar salad, chicken was a bit plain in it, but great otherwise. French onion soup was also good.

The location is a good one, near the louvre and a lot of shops near it (as well as jardins). Next, the atmosphere is cozy, so it was nice to seat with friends and enjoy our dinner time. Now when it comes to food, it was mostly okay. We had salmon, onion soup, chicken pasta. Salmon was good, around 4/5. It was salty enough, as well as taste was great. While chicken pasta was needed in seasoning ( so we added by ourselves). All of 3 three had pasta, and honestly not creamy enough, all 3. Onion soup was also okay, as I tried a lot in Paris, this one isn’t even considered to be good, just okay. So overall, wouldn’t comeback for food, but the whole experience was good.

Good food and prices for the area Service was so so bot very friendly. The pesto spaghetti barely had any pesto flavor mostly marinara/tomato flavor but tasted good. Tomato/burrata salad was good. Ambience also quite nice.

We stopped over to this restaurant after a long flight overnight and a day spent at the Louvre. Our apartment was right across the street on Rue Echelle. We were pleased to see the menu when we looked at it outside. I am a huge fan of escargot and duck and this was a first meal in France. The Regency did not disapppoint our server was excellent and went over any questions we had. I had the 8 Escargot and Magret de Canard (Duck with apples) my wife had the Penne with chicken, my son 13 yrs old had the Penne tomato basil and my daughter had the free range chicken. Everything was amazing including the three moscow mules. The restaurant is less than a block from the Louvre. Located within walking distance of pretty much everything. We ate upstairs for a more realxing atmosphere after we were jetlagged. I wish they put the names of the servers on the receipts I would give kudos to our server as well. Next door there is a Franprix you can pick up groceries from as well. Defintely a great restaurant.

Very nicely located, near Louvre. Service was nice and the staff very communicative. I liked the atmosphere and the vibe of the restaurant as well as their food. Prices are decent. I ordered the most expensive starter, the most expensive second, the most expensive glass of the wine, lemon sorbet and espresso and the bill was only 52 euros.

100% go for the French onion soup if nothing else! It was incredibly delicious, especially after a long morning walking around the Louvre. The restaurant was a little eclectic in the decorations, likely from Christmas. The staff were friendly and accommodating but it did take us a while to be greeted. The duck confit and mashed potatoes were impeccable!

I liked my duck confit. It was flavorful but a little dry. The mashed potatoes were very tasty as well. We were seated for dinner despite not having a reservation, and only had to wait 20 minutes

This was our last big dinner in Paris before flying back to the states and it was absolutely perfect. We opted for a fancier place to end the trip and stumbled upon this restaurant whilst looking for a more elegant memorable experience. This restaurant was not only beautiful and aesthetically pleasing inside, service was wonderful and the food was incredible. Everything came out in a timely manner and our server was kind, informative and gave us really great recommendations. If you're looking for a comfortable, romantic and delicious dinner experience, please come here. When we come back to Paris, I would love to come back!

Wow....I loved having dinner here; I enjoyed the kindness of the staff, very friendly and professional. The food and wine is absolutely delicious! If there is space: sit outside to enjoy the French streets and view.

My family truly enjoyed the food. The quality is more than enough and will not leave you hungry. We tried the onion soup, cod with mash, and poke bowls with salmon and chicken. I asked for the chicken to be well done (and after the second time asking) it came out perfectly! If you come at a busy time be ready to wait for service, but when you great it, it is great. Truly recommend.

Best option for late night dinner (kitchen open almost till 1pm). Portions is big but some dishes no so tasty (pasta is average, not a best option for this place). Service good with good wine list

I am far too critical for my own good but this place is INCREDIBLE. Beautiful, delicious, and the prices are more than fair. You get lower quality for their same prices. Highly recommend and will be dining here again soon.

Best lunch we had in Paris! Was quick to get seated on a rainy day after visiting the Louvre. The salmon linguine was outstanding - I would get it over and over again! Staff was great and helpful that many waitstaff speak multiple languages for travelers like us.

I highly recommend here. They were so sweet. I went to here alone. I got escargots and confite. It was first time to try french restaurant also Escargots. They taught me how to eat the Escargots. How sweet! These foods were so amazing! It suits my taste. Not salty, sugary and oily. Just perfect for me!
