👍👍 If you are from India and craving for ghar jaisa Khana in Paris this is a Must Go Place. It’s very small but the food quality and service is excellent. We went there twice and loved it both the times. It doesn’t require reservation. People often mention Indian, good, options, Paris, chicken, friendly, vegetarian, curry, staff, nice,

Finding an Indian restaraunt so close to our hotel was something we didn't expect at all! We were staying at Hotel Henriette and they provided us with a list of recommendations and 'Singh' was on it. I cross-checked with Google and they had good reviews so we went for dinner there on our first day in Paris. Such a warm and hospitable environment..the staff there was wonderful! The restaraunt is a cosy place, nothing fancy but the people are an absolute gem 😊 The food transported us back to India- it was simple and delicious(No extra oil or spice) I had aloo palak, roti, rice n soyabean curry & my husband had rice and chicken curry. On their recommendation,we also took kheer which my husband had (as I'm lactose intolerant). I want to thank the staff once again for making us feel so comfortable. I even clarified my doubts regarding the strike in Paris the next day and they reassured us that there will be no problem for tourists. They were so good natured and friendly, it felt like a homely dinner experience.

A very good restaurant if you want to try some quick Indian food! I felt the price is on the higher side comparing it with the quantity of food but thats just my opinion!

Indian food with a lot of veggie/vegan options. The waiter was kind to point out which dish was entirely vegan. Portions are a bit small but tasty. The smell of spices hits you as you enter the place and will stay with you for a couple of hours.

Oh my goodness, THE best food on rue Mouffetard, in fact some of the best I've had in Paris. Very authentic, with a variety of food choices, which can be more spicy or less. They call it healthy street food, I just call it delicious. They also offer a variety of beverages. Not a huge place, but cozy and comfortable, and the people that work there are SO nice!

We ordered saag, daal plates. Both of the dishes were great the reason for 4 star is roti was not good at all. It looked like crepes heated up. It was very thick hard to chew.

Owner seemed knowledgeable about what was gluten free and took good care of me. The madras was just the right of spice to make my tastebuds tingle. 🎉 had to avoid embarrassment of my wife and managed to avoid licking the plate clean

This is the first time we visited this place and I must say food was so tasty just like having from home kitchen. Excellent Staff and situated in perfect location. Great choice for vegetarian food. I was so excited to finish my plate that didn’t take enough pics… but next time for sure.

Great food, very friendly welcome. One of the rare Indian restaurants which serve “authentic” flavors. Reasonable priced, great options for vegetarian people, non vegetarian options are also great. Freshly prepared meals. Ps: student meals are also available

Went with my wife and 3 year old. We watched other tables complaining about problems with their orders. After waiting for over 10 minutes and no one approaching the table, we decided just to walk out as our 3 year old was starving. The owner grabbed my arm and told me I had to buy something because my child used the bathroom. My wife had taken him to wash his hands before eating. The owner made a big scene in front of all the guests. He should have been apologizing for the wait. I’ve got to say if I had to just use the bathroom it’s the last place I would go

Made my Paris visit worth it !! Would recommend the butter chicken and rice which tasted just like my mum would make it back home! They have a variety of vegan options available as well and homemade chapati which was great! The ambience is cozy and people are lovely, helped me create my walking itinerary for the next day. Authentic homemade Indian food with great service, Love it!!

OK, they're my neighbours, & I've known Nishan for years. So I may be biased. But I grew up with people with Indian heritage, so I reckon I know a little bit about the cuisine. And I've lived in Paris for 27 years. Not many places get it right. And on the Rive Gauche? Nah. This place is just a delight. No fancy, no frills, honest good food. Had a Madras tonight, & it cheered me right up!

On my way to Pl. de la Contrescarpe I ran into this restaurant. It’s amazing to see the beautiful contrast of this Indian vegetarian cafe to all the other ones in the street — it stands out and fits exactly in in a spectacular way. I had a mango lassi which was the perfect nightcap — and it was exactly like my mom would make. Plus — I got a perfectly packed lunch on the way out. This is a vegetarian gem in the 5th arrondissement.

We loved this place. All of the flavors that we love with none of the butter. We had one vegetarian wrap and one chicken tikka wrap. Both were filling and delicious. We ended of the meal with a dish of kulfi, which was homemade. The cardamom pistachio ice cream was light and refreshing. Will definitely visit again while in Paris.

Great food, just like back home. If you are travelling and miss Punjabi style food like we were - this is it. Met the owner as well, and is a nice guy.

Very nice fast food restaurant. Owner is very good and humble person. You get the homestyle cooked food. Location is very nice, full of young crowd and lively street. Try the Madras style chicken curry; it is actually like north india chicken curry, very good in taste.

If you are looking for good Indian food, which is not greasy, over spicy, hard on stomach, and food which tastes like Home cooked food. This is the place to visit in Paris. Taste is very good, good options and a very friendly owner runs the restaurant. We had Cauliflower Patta gobi sabzi, Daal, Alu gobi, etc. Roti. We even tried Samosa which was very good. Dont expect Naan (as it's maida, unhealthy) they have whole wheat rotis only. Interiors are not cliche like most Indian restaurants abroad with elephants all over and overly done Indian designs. It's simple, elegant. Owner greets Indians very well with special treatment, unlike some Indian restaurants which give priority to non Indians. Even though max customers are all local french and from other countries. It's a small place, with healthy Indian food.

A go to place if you are craving for authentic Indian food. The chicken Madras was marvelous. Warm and cozy place to go on a winter afternoon. The staff is also very amiable and will make you feel home. Apart from the Indian curry cuisine, they have these healthy wraps made of wheat flour which seems quite tasty and of course healthy. Vegan options available as well.

Lovely staff and food ratio. Very vegan friendly, had a good amount of perfectly cooked basmati rice with two curry options (lentils and cauliflower). Not giving 5 stars for missing a bit of a flavour kick, more curry, more heat, but overall very nice!

went here for dinner and a lot of the food was stale. Heard a lot about the samosas, unfortunately they were pretty greasy and not fresh. They didn't give us the sauce, and gave us only one of the two sauces even after asking them. Pretty basic average food that might have had better quality before but has lost quality now as it's started to get more popular. The waiter didn't seem like he wanted to be disturbed and forgot to give me cutlery, so I ended up running inside a few times.

Great Indian restaurant that we encountered in the Latin Quarter after smelling the food from the street! The food was delicious and by far the most authentic Indian food we encountered in our trip through Europe. Service was quick and attentive. Owners are also very friendly and welcoming. We loved it and will be back!

Loved it - great value Indian street food to dine in or take away. Bistro style setting. Cracking veggie and vegan options that aren’t just a side thought. And the chicken was delicious 🤌 come here if you like your Indian food and you’re in the Latin quarter.
