I
recently
visited
Al
Rahim,
a
desi
restaurant
located
in
the
heart
of
the
city.
It
was
a
Saturday
evening,
and
to
my
surprise,
the
restaurant
was
almost
empty.
Despite
the
lack
of
a
bustling
crowd,
my
dining
experience
at
Al
Rahim
was
pleasant
overall.
Let's
start
with
the
highlight
of
any
restaurant:
the
food.
Al
Rahim
served
a
variety
of
desi
dishes,
and
while
the
flavors
were
decent,
they
didn't
quite
reach
the
level
of
superbness.
The
menu
offered
a
good
selection
of
traditional
Pakistani
and
Indian
dishes,
including
biryanis,
kebabs,
curries,
and
naans.
I
opted
for
the
chicken
tikka
masala,
accompanied
by
garlic
naan
and
fragrant
rice.
The
chicken
was
tender,
and
the
masala
had
a
balanced
blend
of
spices.
It
wasn't
the
most
extraordinary
chicken
tikka
masala
I've
had,
but
it
satisfied
my
cravings.
The
garlic
naan
was
flavorful
and
had
a
nice
crispness
to
it,
while
the
rice
was
cooked
to
perfection.
The
service
at
Al
Rahim
was
attentive,
despite
the
lack
of
patrons.
The
staff
was
friendly
and
willing
to
answer
any
questions
I
had
about
the
menu.
They
promptly
took
my
order
and
ensured
that
I
had
a
comfortable
dining
experience.
However,
it's
worth
mentioning
that
due
to
the
low
number
of
customers,
the
ambiance
lacked
the
liveliness
one
might
expect
from
a
desi
restaurant.
In
terms
of
pricing,
Al
Rahim
was
reasonably
affordable.
The
menu
offered
a
range
of
options
to
suit
different
budgets,
making
it
accessible
for
a
casual
meal
or
a
family
gathering.
The
portion
sizes
were
decent,
and
I
left
the
restaurant
feeling
satisfied.
