I was so surprised to find my favourite Bordeaux restaurant in Lisbon. And as the original the food was amazing, the servise excellent, the wine was strong and the total experience memorable. I am getting hungry just by looking at my pictures. Will visit again!

This restaurant never disappoints. Sauce is AMAZING. Fries are cooked beautifully. Will always be my favorite restaurant (of non Portuguese food) in Lisbon!

Everything was perfect the service, the meat, the fries and THE coulant was incredible. I’ll definitely come back. The only thing I didn’t like was that they bring you a little table of cheese once you seat on the table (I thought it was as a welcome because we didn’t order it) and then they charge you 8€ for it.

This wouldn’t be my first choice for a dinner, due to the limited menu choices and style. Salads, cheese, and bread starters weren’t special. However the meat, fries, and the meet sauce were perfectly made and a great meal. Wine selection was good.

What a delicious early dinner at La Brassiere! Very friendly & welcoming staff, great table and view of the restaurant. I ordered the classic Entrecôte with Walnut Salad. The salad arrived first as a starter, very fresh and super yummy! Then the main plate arrived, the meat with the secret house herb sauce. It was so much better than expected. The meat was super thin sliced, on point medium with a buttery soft texture, and the secret source on the perfect fries worked its magic! I could stop humming in my mind enjoy bite by bite. In addition I had fresh pressed Orange Juice! For dessert I ordered Creme Brûlée and my taste buds blew up again with delight! OMG - My Best Desert of 2023!!! Overall my favorite restaurant in Lisbon! I’ll be back asap, Thanks!

Excellent service, truly excellent. The waitress who served us was just brilliant. The food was great, I loved it, it’s good basic steak and chips. Can’t go wrong. Good wine. Almost cheap and cheerful, if you are hungry just enjoy the portions as the fries are limitless.

The only main dish they serve (aside from the only vegetarian option) is a meat dish served with a sauce comprised of over 20 spices and it's a unique experience!! I recommend 😁 It is a bit pricey, but I'd say try it at least once, I say it's worth it. The food is flavourful and you are served an almost infinite portion of fries as well (they come every now and then to serve you if you want more, or raise your hand and ask for more), included in the main dish price. Also included is a salad (1 of 3 options). Staff is friendly and considerate. We left at around 8.30pm (20h30) when the other clients started arriving and the noise started increasing, felt a bit noisy as we were leaving.

Disappointed considering how highly regarded the restaurant is. The green salad was nice and entrecot sauce and chips made it worth going, though the meat was not “buttery” like in other reviews. Without the sauce you’re eating an average entrecot. We were offered bread and/or a cheese plate as a starter - brought out to us to accept or reject. Cheese selection was very poor and tasted like it had been sat in a fridge waiting to be served for a while. €12 for this. You’re better off not accepting the bread or cheese plate and just eating the main. Service not great either…

I really recommend this place. The meat is great and the sauce is just amazing. Also the fries are really good. A simple dish but well done. It’s a bit expensive but honestly worth it

Really good food, great service. The older man who was serving me, was great, a bit funny, but still professional. Def can recommend this place.

Great service, gave only 1 menu in Portuguese, apologized gave one again in English. Of course none of my friends need to read to decide what to order. The bread basket given by Joâo Melo was tiny and still costed money(not complimentary, as in other restaurants in Lisbon). Only two main courses at offer both steaks. No vegetarian options. Here is our bill for just entering the restaurant. Dirty mirrors which they don’t bother to clean. Avoid this place at all cost.

The steak is well cooked and the green salad with nuts very well seasoned. There is also a good but slightly expensive wine list. Just be careful with cover. It is only bread and butter and they charge per person and then charge the 3 small pates on top. This was very expensive and not worth it. Staff seemed young and inexperienced and lacked the experience and charisma for a place such as this.

Very good meat and sauce and all you can eat on French fries. Nice wine list. Very friendly staff. A place of value, always. Sometimes quite noisy. Maybe something to think about: a second choice for the molho?

Coming here for 20 years. A must go for me when I am in Lisbon. Simply the best Entreçôte - better than in Paris , Genève or New York! Nice wine list too. Ideally located at the corner of Praça de Camões.

Good food Comfortable space Lead service … well she was not so friendly and we felt rushed … maybe she was just having a bad day. All of the support staff were lovely as well as the gentleman that seemed as if he was in charge and took my reservation. Overall, very good. Entrecôte ! Delicious !

Taste and look like mass produced items in a all inclusive hotel all you can eat buffet. Soft factory produced French fries. Over salted broken bearneae sause with some herbs. Meat was decent. Cheese dull and the apple cake a soft disaster. Had it for home delivery but the locale look nice judging from the picture.

The steak was cooked perfectly. The sauce is good but just a bit salty. The string fries are a great complement. Service was attentive. Overall a pleasant meal. Very enjoyable. Quiet and relaxing.

The steak was cooked and served perfectly on point. The fries were good and the starters as well. The big surprise however was the sauce that came with the steak. This is something special and the main reason I'd come back here anytime. Absolutely fantastic - as silly as it sounds: Come here to try the sauce, if nothing else! The interior is clean, tasteful designed, and it's not too loud in there. The restrooms are clean, the waiters friendly and no wishes were left open.

Honestly only came here for the dessert as was craving a creme brulee (it was delicious!) The server was lovely and let us go in just for dessert. The pineapple carpacio was amazing too, highly recommend. It made us want to come back for dinner!

I really love this place. It's a fantastic price quality ratio, beautiful decor and attentive service. I love places that specialise in one thing. This restaurant does entrecotes really well, but in a unique and authentic way. I've been to this place twice and will definitely come back.

It was so good we went twice in five days! The food is superb and our waiter was a delight. Sadly I don't know his name. I only wish we had such a restaurant in the UK.

Traditional fench entrecote with a tasty sauce and very well done frieds. But the entrecote lost size.

So nice experience! Highly recommended restaurant! The Sirloin steak was perfectly made, and so the entries that was built in the menu -it was very tasty. great wine list and a wonderful service! A bit expensive but worth it “Big time”!

Only one real option on the menu, and it’s perfect: Entrecote & fries. Our waiter also recommended an excellent red wine to go with the steak, only 23€/bottle.

They only have one item on the menu but that's perfect. Juiciest, tenderest steak with secret French sauce and perfect chips. It's such a great meal! The quality is always top notch and I also appreciate the old school decoration.

Visited last week, had no reservation and felt we were being check out as if to see if we met the brief. We were told we would need to be gone in about 90 mins as there were reservations. This suited us fine. The steak was just fab with the sauce overtop, the fries I felt were frozen but delish all the same. My friend fancied a merlot but they had none.

Menu was a little limited, but the steak was absolutely delicious. Service was top notch. Maybe best of all was that it had air conditioning in the middle of a heat wave. Amazing wine list.
