Do not think even about it. Do not go, very ugly place, with no place to park, very unclean and old rooms, no entrance for the hotel. They dont have breakfast and you should wait until 9 am so they can order you from outside. I dont know why it is ranked as 4 stars hotel! If you are thinking to spend a good weekend or to surprise your wife then defenitly it is not the right place to choose.

the place is ancient and extraordinary. I liked the idea of staying in a place with the theme of an old castle by the sea. the hotel is near the antique shops there and is about 5 minute walk from the bus station that can take you either to beirut or tyre. their breakfast was fine; a traditional oriental one with no other varieties. there were two main disadvantages there. first the place needs more maintenance and care from the working staff. second the electricites went out a number of times and this affected the efficacy of the air conditioner, but later we knew it is a problem all over Lebanon that the electricity supplies are very bad.

Really really liked it here. Comfortable, friendly, beautiful rooms and a fabulous breakfast.

Beautiful newly renovated and central spot. Close walking distance to everything, old zook, restaurants, city centre with amazing view. Very clean rooms and friendly staff

It is a real castle and now used as a hotel. Many different types of rooms but almost all has a very high ceiling. Rooms are decorated well, comfortable and breakfast is good. Just rooms could be cleaner and some rooms smell badly due to moisture.

This place looks like a magnificent castle on the corniche with a great view of the Sea Castle. But it is overpriced and the amenities are horrible. The rooms have high ceilings which means that the AC is undersized and can't cool the room more than a few degrees. The hotel promised WiFi in all of the common areas and in some of the rooms, but in reality only had a poor connection in the cafe (and none of the rooms). Finally, the room literally made me sick. I don't know what infection or allergen or toxin was in that room, but even ten minutes in the room gave me a sore throat and sinus pressure. Stay away from this place.

Good place to stay for a night. Breakfast comes from a nearby restaurant. Rooms were basic, but clean. Great view on the castle.

In general suitable for one night. It is close to the sea road and the castle but there are few amenities. There is no breakfast

You will feel that you traveled over time to an ancient castle.. the sea view is amazing and the shops around the hotel are very humble
