We really enjoyed the food at this place. The fish had a nice crispy batter and the clams were done perfectly. Home cut steak fries were amazing. Next time we are in town we will definitely give this place a visit. The service was sincere and friendly.

We went here after whale watching and this is an excellent restaurant. We ordered the hummus, fish and chips, and chicken fingers. Brilliant portions and great flavours. The waitresses are very helpful and provide us with anything additional we need (e.g. sauces). One of the highlights is the patio that overlooks the harbour.

Very quaint restaurant with an absolutely amazing patio view. Food was okay. Not fine dining but decent. Cold beer, hot food, great views. Not much more one can ask for. Prices are also fair. A must visit if in the area.

On a trip going east towards Newfoundland at the end of the summer I made my way to St. Andrews. Having gone with my family my dad has been here many times and was ADAMANT about coming to this restaurant (having been here before), and boy did it NOT disappoint in the slightest! During the pandemic I haven't had fish-n-chips in the east coast for just over 2 years so this was a real treat having probably one of the best "classic" fish-n-chips in my life (I am usually in the east coast once a year so I know the good ones)! NOTE TO EVERYONE: If you want good seating AKA outside on the patio overlooking the water then arrive 20-30mins before it opens for lunch, otherwise you're going to be at the back of a line (very popular spot). The service was everything I missed about the east coast being warm, talkative and lightning fast on their feet being some of the most hospitable people you will generally meet, and this place is no exception. service was FANTASTIC (fast, easy and efficient) and everything on the menu is a homerun, I'll definitely be coming back when the season reopens!

Everything brought to our table was "wow!" good! Hummus is made on site, and the fish was cooked to perfection, really! The service was personal and happy and the meals were delivered soon after ordering. Outdoor patio with shade and a beautiful view of the water. Street parking. This is a very popular place, so plan your time and expect a bit of a wait to get in if you want to be seated during noon or 5:00.

Fantastic location. Friendly service. OK prices. My salmon dinner was very good overall but the veggies were just frozen veggies from a bag slightly reheated. My wife ordered the fisherman's dinner and everything on her plate was overcooked. Disappointed, probably won't be coming back.

Yesterday we enjoyed a delicious meal of fish & chips and a lobster roll while taking in the lovely view from the waterfront deck. The smell of the sea was amazing!!! The atmosphere was so relaxing, the service was wonderful and the food was delicious. ☺️

Was kinda slow, but over all good food

I enjoyed a massive feast for two. We sat on the patio overlooking the ocean and ate a whole bunch of seafood. It was seasoned just right and wasn't too rich for the amount of food. Somehow I managed to finish the entire mountain of seafood. Everything on the plate was well cooked and seasoned appropriately. Next time I'm in the area I'll probably stop back in. They also have a nice bar where you can order all sorts of cocktails and drinks.

Such quick and friendly service from start to finish. We ordered chicken wings for an appetizer, then I got the fried clams and my husband got the lobster roll. It was very tasty and the portion sizes were good for the price. I prefer the French fries over at the Red Herring but otherwise our meal was great and I'm very happy with our experience at the Harbour Front!

Wish I could give it less than one star !!! Went today . Waited 10 mins before we were seated. There was only one party ahead of us. They were not busy.There was only one party seated inside restaurant and tables outside were not full .We were seated outside which was ok. The plastic seats were HOT !!!! We waited and we waited.... people that had come in after us were served before us. Not impressed. We waited 20 mins and still no waiter. We just left. Would never ever recommend and won't return. Terrible . How do they even stay in business?

Beautiful view of the water from the patio. Delicious homemade burger and amazing home fries. Fantastic service, the food came out incredibly fast. Next time we go to St. Andrew's, this is where we are eating. You gotta eat here!

Not very impressed. All meals were small portions. We had chicken fingers with fries and 2 orders of scallops/fried shrimp with fries, meals did not reflect cost$$$ or quantity. Also had market priced lobster dinner which is 2x the current market price. All meal tasted good, lobster was really good, but all meals are over priced. Patio was large with a good view of the harbour. Lobster meal was not a small portion. Staff was friendly.

Beautiful view, and interior atmosphere. You can get a steamed lobster dinner here. Veggies are from a frozen bag. Overall food was good. The place you go when all the other fine dining restaurants are full/closed or you want the lobster dinner.

Sat out on the backdeck with the beautiful view of the bay. View was great. Calamari was perfect (not rubbery), ceasar salad was excellent. I ordered one of the entrees and was bummed that baked potatoes are only served with dinner. Great location and friendly, fast service!

We had dinner here, eating on the covered deck with a view of the bay at low tide. I had seafood chowder, which was excellent; my husband had the blueberry barbecue chicken, which was surprisingly bland. Service was fine.

I went here with my parents. I had the fish and chips. It was delicious. If you are looking for a thick piece of ++battered fish and deep fried, along with perfect chips, this is a place to check out. The fish was yummy, I thought the batter was a bit greasy (But I think that is a part of the experience). The waitress was friendly, efficient and prompt. The restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, the weather was not the greatest the day I visited, but I would recommend the patio.

An amazing spot right next to the water. We enjoyed a top floor window view while we ate a delicious supper of seafood. The seafood chowder and mussels were awesome. The seared scallops were my only complaint as they were seared with onions and peppers, and so they just taste like those veggies. In my culinary experience, scallops are always best seared with just butter and garlic butter at most. Other than that, everything was on point.

Ordered spinach dip and it was ice cold!! Strawberry daiquiri was nothing but syrup, too sweet and sure didn’t taste like strawberry. Very disappointing. Won’t be back

Was there for the first time in years. Was very acceptable pub food with great service. Place seems very well managed and organized. The deck is the best in St. Andrew's, in my opinion. Not gourmet exactly, but it was a pleasant surprise.
