Not a great location. I arrived, the elevators weren't working. You had to change elevators to go 4 floors. Got to my room, no microwave, you have to use a common one in the hallway. Put my food in the refrigerator, refrigerator was unplugged. Went to brush my teeth, the water was turned off under the sink. Is this really how you prep a room for occupancy? Went to grab a snack from vending machine, stole my money and wouldn't respond. Day 3, my AC unit in my room went out and I had to move rooms. Day 7, I needed to use the laundry facility so I asked to buy detergent at the front desk. I was informed that the laundry facility is out of order. Luckily, the lady at the front desk was extremely kind and threw my laundry in their main laundry for me. Half the staff was extremely helpful and kind, the other acted like you were a burden to them. Also, they are anti-2nd amendment. They have a sign posted on the front door that guns are not allowed in the facility. Really? So, because I keep protection with me while traveling, I'm supposed to leave it in their parking lot? Sorry, didn't happen, and won't happen. The parking lot is beyond shady due to the proximity to 2 truck stops and an apartment complex. I'm not leaving my gun in the car to be stolen by the crackheads that wander through. The weapons policy is not nationwide, it is at the discretion of the franchisee. So, basically, the person that has let the facility fall apart is also a gun control nut. Does everybody see the pattern here? I stay in Holiday Inn Express locations across the country every year, this is the worst example of the brand I've every experienced. If I'm ever traveling to St. Cloud again, I'll stay anyplace else.

Had all of our wedding guests book here because they provided a free shuttle. However, a couple weeks before the event they cancelled the shuttle service claiming too few guests had booked with us. After asking my guests it was determined that 20+ people were already booked. When I called back to see if we could still use a shuttle because clearly we had enough people they let me know that they had no one to drive. The only reason I recommended this hotel for our Guests was for the shuttle service and now it’s way too close to the event date to change reservations to a hotel that does offer transportation, I do NOT recommend using this hotel if you’re planning a wedding or event.

They were very informative on the phone, remembered us as we came and went, the hotel was clean and all staff friendly. Great breakfast and TV options. Loved having a little kids pool and ping pong too. Great little get away for my husband, daughter, and I.

Way over priced. Service is great, but room is so 20th century. I was charged $279!!!! Just me. Stayed at another Holiday Inn that was $179 I believe. Still too much for what you get. Very disappointed. Will not be staying in a Holiday inn again.

Holiday Inn hotels are always great and this location didn't disappoint! Great location. I park in the secure fenced lot across the street if I get there late and parking is slim. It's $16.00 but I can keep an eye on my truck and trailer. The lobby was very patriotic. The POW/MIA Table was amazing!Very clean hotel with a wonderful staff.

Our group was on the 4th floor and we had one of the suites, which was really nice two bedrooms and lots of places to sleep. Nice pool with warmer water. And an excellent breakfast.

Wonderful staff Steven at the front desk was very helpful when I made my reservation. Nice discount for hospital (VA). Room was super clean and very comfortable as was the whole facility. The ladies were very nice and helpful in the breakfast area. I had my son's service dog and they helped me with my coffee and plate. In the dining area they have a table setup for the missing soldier. Wish I could post a picture. Beautiful done if your veteran stay here

4 adults and 4 kids for a really sweet, 2 bedroom suite on the 4th floor, extra bedding for a baby bed and the pull-out bed. 2 needs in one and a queen in the other with a no-curb shower bath. 2 Swimming pools (one was a shallow pool) with nice heated water. Friendly staff here too and a wonderful breakfast with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, a pancake machine and tons more

Everything was perfect from the customer service, the beautiful Christmas decorations, the hot and tasty breakfast with lots of variety, the very comfortable beds and quiet room. I was also so thankful to have hot chocolate offered at the coffee bar since I do not drink coffee. It was a nice touch at the end of a long day. My only complaint was that we couldn't stay longer! All our needs were met and then some!!

Clean pool area with hot tub. Beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. Free hot breakfast, good variety. Sofa sleeper was pretty old and broke down. Staff was great

Best staff hands down. I planned to propose the day I stayed and the staff helped me set up my plan in the hotel room. Been here 5 times and it's a great stay every time!

We prepaid for a suite 2 months in advance. We checked in online. When we arrived they informed us they gave our suite away because they "overbooked". They offered a double queen sleeper sofa combo or two double queen rooms for additional money - for their mistake! It was not a pleasant experience after a full day driving with 4 kids across SD and MN. We were really looking forward to relaxing in our suite. We would not book with this hotel again.

Rented the two bedroom suite. The bedrooms were separated by spacious living/full kitchen. It was very quiet, no hallway or road noise. The breakfast was very clean, lots of choices. The front desk gentleman was very courteous and helped tremendously. Pool area very clean and spacious.

I absolutely love it here. Not too big, not too small. Staff is attentive and friendly. You get peaceful and clean spaces everywhere. Housekeeping is on point. You can’t go wrong staying here. Big 5 keep up the good work.

I love this hotel. We started staying here years ago. They have remodeled several times. The rooms are always clean. The rates are great. They have a variety of types of rooms depending on how many people are present, if we will time for an in-room jacuzzi, or if we want a couch in the room or just the bed. Breakfast is the typical HIE breakfast: nothing great but ok. Parking is good. Service is great. I love that it is very close to the interstate. We appreciate this hotel.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, we were a big family group so a bigger reservation. They were patient and helped us get into our reservations quickly and early. The rooms were very clean and beds comfy. The front desk staff were helpful upon checkout even asking if my kids wanted extra milk. It was so sweet. Will definitely come back again.

We checked in around 12am after starting our drive at 0800 am. The front desk worked with us to get us checked in. We must have been a mess from there perspective, having just been pulled over and given a ticket. We were flustered, tired and no very coherent. Didn't phase him none, checked us in, gave us a late checkout and was very patient. We swam in the pool and used the hot tub in the morning both were un occupied and vell maintained. Loved the rooms, they are very spacious and super clean. Breakfast was a full bar, very enjoyable. The ladies were busy restocking everything and making sure everything was clean and tightly. Would definitely recommend to others. Great atmosphere.

I would give it 5..but the whole reason to go to a hotel is sleep. Which I found difficult with the tiny bed (no way it was a queen) and pillows that were like tissues in a pillow case. If you come here, bring your own pillow at the very least. Breakfast was awesome and pools are fantastic. Our room was large and clean. Hotel was pretty quiet too for a Saturday night! Honestly, the biggest thing is PILLOWS NEED REPLACED.

Hotel is nice, good breakfast, good location, space for parking and pet friendly. I can't give 5 stars because I do not understand why our room was never made, we stayed for 5 nights, we had to take the garbage to the hall so the maid could pick it up. For the five nights we stayed no new towels, or coffee refill, nothing. I asked the front desk and what he said is that the maid will come on "Tuesday" , really? and something about my dog. I told him we are going to leave and our dog comes with us always. He did nothing. 5 days and our room was not cleaned, not even the bathroom. It is a shame.

We wanted a wonderful night out with our two children so this was a planned family overnight trip to enjoy the pool, swimming, hot tub and just some quality time. Sadly upon checking into our room we saw stains on the outer blanket top on both beds, hair in the bathtub and the fridge still had items in it from whoever stayed in it previous to us which I thought was very strange. It is like the housekeeper forgot to do multiple things on her checklist prior to our check in. We were supposed to get a room with two queen beds and instead we were given a room with two double beds it seemed. We have queen beds at home and the beds we slept in were def not queen beds OR maybe hotel queen beds are smaller than traditional queen beds at home. It was very strange that the beds were smaller. The beds were very uncomfortable and all four of us woke up with aches and pains. It really was not a comfortable relaxing overnight stay. We wanted to use the pool and hot tub the next morning since checkout was to be at 11am but when we got ready and all went down to the pool the next morning there was caution tape surrounding the hot tub and we were told we could not use it. That was def a huge bummer for all four of us because it was one of the main reasons that we got a hotel for a night out was to enjoy the pool and hot tub as much as possible. If we would have known that the hot tub was going to be closed we would have probably rented a different hotel in St Cloud since that was so important to us. The good about the hotel is the location right off an I-94 exit so the ease of getting on and off the freeway was excellent. The distance into the actual town of St Cloud was about a 10min drive to shops and into the center of town. The hotel is located right across the street from the Pilot truck stop, McDonalds and Subway restaurant so it was very easy to grab a bite to eat before we checked in and after we checked out. The morning breakfast at the hotel was absolutely spectacular. They had a full buffet style breakfast. Going from right to left on the counter was an amazing pancake machine, hot fresh cinnamon rolls, toast, muffins, fresh hot biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, veggie and egg omelette, sausage links, turkey sausage patties, juices, milks, cereal and yogurt.
