WARNING!! They are scamming people! Me and wife had booked here and when we showed up the hotel is closed since 2 years ago. But there was no information about this at all online either on agoda,the hotels website or the info here in google maps. When we called the manager she was rude and not helpful and just said the hotel was closed for 2 years and when asked for a refund she simply referred to the hotel booking partner we used,very unprofessional and rude. We had paid 183 USD for one night here. They had relocated us to another resort which was cheaper for only 110 USD but we still had paid online the price of 183 USD. So they are making profit of letting guests book at their hotel then booking the guests and transferring them at a cheaper hotel and Doctors cave takes the 73 USD in pure profit!

HOTEL IS CLOSED. I know another user commented, but this place is not open at all. They didn’t even notify us to let us know they were not open or redirect us to another location.

I stayed at Doctor’s Cave Beach Hotel with my family. I found this hotel to be well below basic standards. The decor in the rooms are very dated though clean. The bathroom has been updated and provides good water pressure and hot water. The “continental breakfast” is very basic and not worth waking up for..it consists of some dry pastries and fruit. The pool looks quite murky although I did see a staff member attending to it daily. The lobby and halls are dark and murky, needed my phone light to navigate to my room after dark. The lush gardens at the back was quite nice. There is no restaurant at this hotel so all meals have to be purchased at a near by cook shop, only option after breakfast is the bar.....drinks only. The staff were pleasant and attentive and seemed to be very friendly with the regulars. The amenities in room are basic. The Doctors Cave Beach Club is a short walk down the street, the beach is beautiful though not associated with the hotel. There is no discount applied to the entrance fee for staying at this hotel. The location is convenient and parking is free. The WiFi is only accessible downstairs in the lobby or poolside. The short drive to the airport is a plus. The price we paid was too much for this property. This hotel needs a major upgrade.

Great location on the hip strip, across from the private beach and walking distance from restaurants. The rooms were all spacious and clean, with pretty updated bathrooms, but dated decor. Although i enjoyed my stay, the pool could be cleaned a bit more often and continental breakfast is extremely slow with little substance. Kenny, the bartender was friendly and outgoing. Lij the bellman was helpful and courteous. Everyone at the front desk were efficient and quick. Mr. C has amazing customer service skills! I am looking forward to staying again, the nightly price is great for someone like me, whom travels solo.

Cheap and cheerful hotel. Basic breakfast of fruit, pastries, tea or coffee. Not much entertainment and rooms need updating but staff are friendly and its a good location . Had to request a room change as we were facing the main road so there was lots of noise and i couldn't sleep. They moved us so i was happy with the service.

This place was, low key, epic. I was in Montego Bay in the off season, so the hotel was (from what I could tell) mostly empty. So there wasn't much as far as staff either. But the bartender downstairs was super friendly (one of the few friendly people I encountered in Jamaica). And after a couple drinks, my gf and I decided to explore the hotel. Most of the lights were not on in the hotel (like in the hallways and commons areas) since it was off-season. And it was night. We discovered an indoor/outdoor game room with billiards and ping pong. And we had an absolute blast playing both while frogs croaked around us and bats flew throughout the room. So much fun. I hate to say it but it was pretty much the highlight night of an otherwise not super awesome trip to Jamaica.

Great beach in terms of cleanliness and security. Although admission prices are more expensive than other beaches in the area, I would argue that it is still worth it. There are additional charges if you would like an umbrella and/or a beach chair. I heard they also serve you meals and beverages on the beach which is great. If you're looking to splurge to enjoy a great beach experience while you're on vacation, I definitely would recommend this beach!

I have been going to this hotel since I was 4 years old (20 years old currently). The staff is incredibly friendly, rooms are always well kept, and the bar staff are extremely fun with great personalities. The location is great and the atmosphere of the whole place feels relaxing. I will probably never stay anywhere but here when I travel to Jamaica.

Good location. Check in was a bit complicated because their reservation department was closed when we got there (around 8 pm). Remember to check price online beforehand. The price offered at the front desk was higher than we saw online, and when we showed that to the front desk, they asked us to book it online instead of matching the price. Room was okay, had the bare minimum necessities, clean linens, AC, shower and hot water. A little scarce on power outlets, wasn't aired before we arrived so felt a little suffocating at first. We had to open the window to air it but there was no net exposing us to bugs. This is in quite a touristy area so we had a run in with some sketchy people. The restaurant did not have any food as had been advertised, but we didn't mind taking a walk to find dinner. It had beer though, so that was good. Did not venture into pool or gym or other amenities, but they looked okay.

Right on the strip. (Although there's construction across the street, it doesn't bother anyone). Breakfast is good, breakfast wait staff is excellent and are very attentive. Check in is smooth. Rooms are exactly what you would expect from a 3 1/2 🌟 property, everything is adequate and clean.

The experience was great. The reservation manager, Mrs Jump gave us exceptional service, which made the decision to start there very easy. Other members of staff were friendly and helpful as well but she stood out. Thanks for keeping good customer service alive in Jamaica.

Quiet n peaceful. I wish there was a private pool tho but there is an outside Jacuzzi, really nice. Only continental breakfast is served there so you gotta get adventurous n go on the road to seek for a nice restaurant or entertainment. Room is pretty decent and comfortable. 👍🏽

Good to have a clean usable beach in tge city. Cost of entry is reasonable and you pay am extra cost for an umbrella. There is a restaurant on property, a bit pricey.

Very clean beach with clean clear water. I highly recommend for couples or families.

I just passed by. Brought some good people there. They spent a few hrs, then I went back to get them. They said it was fantastic. The water was great, clean and lovely.
