Don’t stick stick to the drink list - ask him to create something new and marvelous. We asked for something in the style od a French 75 and he created the most delightful Prosecco cocktail. Incredible cocktails in a quaint unique setting, definitely worth a visit!

Came here for the first time this past weekend and will definitely be back! Ordered a vodka sour, my personal favourite. The owner really makes this an experience by sharing the history of drinks as well as the inspiration behind his menu. You can tell this is his pride and joy. He’s very engaging in conversation if you talk to him, and. I noticed he lets guests socialize amongst themselves too if you don’t feel like talking with him. It makes for a nice experience. Next time I’ll go for something I haven’t tried before.

This was a great stop for a night out in Saint John pub crawling. The host is very friendly and knowledgeable of all things cocktails. The conversation and presentation of all the drink are amazing. Definitely would recommend anyone stop for a couple cocktails before or after a dinner or evening out. Our party tried 4 different drinks and all were amazing. Price was on point and very reasonable.

We’ve been here a few times for date night and to bring friends out for exceptional cocktails. Eric is beyond a talented drink creator extraordinaire, but his way of greeting his customers and the full experience is beyond anything we have found anywhere! We live on one coast to the other and have yet to find another cocktail as delicious and creative as what we’ve experienced at Kakuteru! A must try!

Simply the best spot for cocktails in the city. Its a cozy intimate environment and the owner is a man of passion and purpose. Always good discussions and stellar creations! They also have unbelievably good non-alcoholic cocktails.
