My fiance' stayed there 2 weeks. Midway into the stay, I went to visit him. When I arrived, an African American man loudly made himself be noticed. Yelling across the parking lot, "You NEED to come check in the office." So, I did, he wanted my Identification and made a note of it. He told me I had to leave by 10:00 p.m. (it was 7 p.m.!) This was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! NO VISITING ALLOWED!!! I mentioned I had come 35 + miles South of there, from the other side of the Sky Way Bridge. My Boyfriend tried to explain to this man, the he had already told the day shift that I was coming and the were going to put me on his card. They forgot, and this guy was not going to budge. All the money my boyfriend had spent staying there over a week at that point, with a few days to go...didn't matter to this guy at all! I asked to speak to the Supervisor, his reply was, (rudely stated) "I AM the ONE IN CHARGE." We gave up, went to the room, had time for dinner and it was time for me to go. I couldn't believe this! We went to the office to see if there was a chance at a dignified conversation or solution?? It was very awkward and tense, his "I'm in charge" GAZE in his eyes, with the smirk, made it clear that he was power tripping! His solution was that I pay $55.00 and that gives me the right to be on the property!? LMAO!!! He went as far as saying, " You don't have to stay in the room, you can stay with him." Unbelievable!! So, we PAID, then he said he needed 5 more dollars for the remote control deposit. We felt SO HUSSLED! NEVER WILL GO BACK THERE!

DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT STAY HERE. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The day staff is awesome. but the internet is a bit spotty and when I went to ask of the night staff he became aggressive and abusive. It can be a dangerous neighborhood, but one would hope to feel safe in their own hotel. I felt more threatened by the night guy than anyone I had met on the nearby streets. read Brenda Popes review below

Great place, quiet, no hookers or crack heads living on property. Across the street on the other hand. Best place in the area. They have rules id suggest you read them. They hold true to them which is how they keep it safe and quiet. I stayed a few other places in the area and this has been the best.

Sleazy fleabag motel. Room smells like cigarette smoke. There is a shelf above the closet that looks like it has never been cleaned. Wi-Fi is incredibly slow. Bathroom features broken tile and a painted-over window with some kind of mechanical noise on the other side. Neighborhood is sketchy. Management is pushy and obnoxious. I regret giving it a try. Not worth the price.

Very safe place. They have strict rules that you are made aware off before you rent. Rooms look great, managers are very nice and they enforce the rules. Very quiet property. Definitely recommend!

Clean, cozy, AC worked great, internet was fast! ( Also depends on how many people are staying there and how many use the internet) At times it was slow but most of the time it was super fast. The hotel manager was very nice and accommodating. I paid for a week and the hotel owner or manager put in a mini fridge for me. Didnt have to do that. 270.00 a week beat most motels i was looking at. I mean the mosley motel hell hole of a motel with roaches, bed bug, fleas , drug dealers, hookers charges 275 a week. There are a few weird people who might stay here but all and all its pretty quiet. Some people are loud outside and I do not even think they realize how impolite they are but I can not blame the establishment. I will give this a 4 star rating. I will stay here again in the future.

Upon walking in the room guy kills huge roach and says, "These size are in every home in Florida." Well same night and every night after, German cockroaches crawl everywhere. Thank God I had a Gecko as these things were even in the drawers of the furniture. Gross.

Stayed here for a weekly rate. Let's face it, it's not the Marriott, but it will do considering the circumstances. Manager was really nice and accommodating. There's a police presence frequently, which helps with some safety assurance. Not the cleanest or most modern, but acceptable for what I needed.

The man who manages the hotel is super nice and accommodating. I paid for a room, but overslept the next day until 10am(checkout time). Most places will tell you to hurry up and grab your stuff and get out. Manager said "Its ok, things happen. Take your time." So we were able to pack up our car to leave without having to rush like crazy. Room was clean, I LOVED the way the walls inside the rooms were painted turquoise and yellow, very pretty. Only thing "wrong" with this place is the location I guess? But Palm Aire is obviously not responsible for the type of people who tend to frequent the surrounding area. If you want a cheap room with cold AC, a hot shower, a mini fridge and microwave, definitely go there.
