If Maps had point fives, I would have given them 4.5 stars. When I went around 545/6pm, there were a few tables already full. I was hoping they had a table of 1, but the tables had been reserved. Luckily 1 of the staff, I assume the manager or owner, checked and I was lucky that a table was leaving. The design of the building is so unique and in a great location and my waiter was very pleasant and always had a smile. The food was mostly spectacular. It's one of the reasons why I would like to give it 4.5 stars. When I first saw the prices, I thought I could tell I'm in a border town next to the U.S. however, when the dishes came, they were huge. When eating at a restaurant for the first time, I like to try all 3 courses. It was very difficult this time finishing everything. While the lobster wontons didn't have an even doneness to them, the size and flavours were great. The sauce they give you has a little spice to it and it's great when you get a chunk of lobster. You should also love cream cheese if you get these as there's a lot. The salmon with black rice and beets was spectacular. The dishes weren't plated as they are in your regular pub food spot. You could tell that a little bit of extra care went into the dish. Again, it was also massive and the salmon was one perfectly. The earthiness of the black rice coupled with the river flavours of the salmon went well together and the beets added a little sweetness. I had their brownie for dessert. Decadent would be an understatement. The brownie itself filled the plate and overflowed with chocolate sauce while having Pal-o-Mine inside it. Topped with that yellow vanilla ice cream that always tastes better and a generous helping of whip cream and two strawberries were great accents to the dish. I really wish I had help eating it, but part of me was glad I didn't. Finally, the maple beer. The hint of maple came through the bitterness of the beer almost perfectly. Very refreshing and well balanced. Once my wife gets her visa and we begin travelling around the province, I'll certainly be bringing her here.

An awesome place to grab a drink and relax! Selection is top notch! The steak dinner is absolutely amazing and cooked perfectly! The attention to details and care set out by the staff is wonderful! Nothing gets past them and make you feel welcome. I can't wait to go back!

I eat here a lot, and the food is always great! For the premium price though, I expect a good atmosphere. One of the owners decided to make a scene about an empty Tims cup, accusing someone in our party of bringing in liquor (at 2:30 with his two small children), intentionally causing a scene. I will miss the food and the friendly servers, but I refuse to spend any more money here after such a poor experience.

Always seen pictures of the food on Facebook and decided to make a detour to try it out during a weekend trip in Fredericton. Simply amazing. The peach and brie flatbread is one of the most delicious things I've tried in a very long time. The kings mule (?) was a refreshing twist on the classic Moscow mule.

This place has great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff and great food and beer. We've tried the brunch and dinner menus and have always had a positive experience... we'll be back for sure.

Microbrewery and restaurant bar in the old St Stephen train station. The location is very picturesque and has a nice view of the St Croix river. There is seating outside as well. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is wonderful. Fresh and in sizeable portions. You will not be leaving hungry. The blueberry beer was delicious.

A classic old building re-purposed to become an amazing East Coast Restaurant, with lots of space, excellent food and fare, and delicious culinary temptations for all to enjoy. Fantastic and friendly staff are there to serve you your favorite beverage and entice you with the Chef's daily specials. Lots of parking and even a charging station for electric modes of transportation.

The time we entered the restaurant we felt very welcomed and we got a table right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful with there suggestions about different food items. The Lobster eggs rolls are a big hit. They were crispy and very tasty with a good amount of lobster in them. The fish and chips was done to perfection. The burger was juicy and delicious,and the turkey club was great. The child menu is very good. Highly recommend everyone to go here.

Chicken skewers, spinach dip both great, tasty apps. Dinner of mac & cheese really nicely presented, tasty cheese sauce large satisfying portion. The lamb shank was cooked to perfection with a unique flavor, accompanied with gnocchi, carrots & asparagus. Overall great meal calling for a return visit.

The room is nice, a little more upscale to neighboring restaurants. I ordered the fish & chips, it was good. However the whole area serves good fish&chips. I was not disappointed, I would definitely go again.

I tried the steamed noodle bowl. Had shrimp, pork belly, boiled egg, bean sprouts, carrots and cucumbers. Not enough broth - barely covered the noodles itself. The pork belly was sliced thin like bacon and tasted as if it was just boiled. It would’ve been better if the broth was much more flavorful. Bean sprouts were on the raw side mostly because it didn’t have enough broth to be soaked in. Overall, the bowl needed more saltiness, sweetness and spice. It definitely had potential to be fantastic - but it needs improvement.

The restaurant is lovely. You can eat inside or out on the patio. There is a large drink menu, food menu has a variety to suit your taste, and a kid's menu is also available. We celebrated my dad's bday in style. You don't have to dress up, but the food is top-notch, as well are the drinks. We started with lobster wontons and a board of meats & cheese. Lil one stuck to cheeseburger and fries, but ate off my plate as well. The seafood trio will be my go to! It included shrimp, lobster cakes, and salmon wrapped scallops with a small side of carrots and green beans. I'm still searching for the perfect drink but I drank the Hawaiian sour (whiskey sour with pineapple taste) and then tried the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (large pale ale beer with orange slice with a shot of whiskey inside), might try the King's mule next time. The fish and chips are delicious and the peppered steak had my mouth watering too, nice to be able to sample off your family. I hope you enjoy your meal!

This is my all-time favourite local spot for a brew. The outdoor patio is a huge bonus, as you look out at the beautiful view of the St. Croix River and onto the US bordering it. Chef Lisa’s menu has something for everyone, and will fit whatever vibe you’re looking for! The bonus is that she switches up her offerings seasonally, and I can always find a new favourite. (I love the prime rib special that is usually offered around any major holidays). The staff are so kind and knowledgeable each time I’m in, and the team makes it a comfortable place to be. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It’s clean, modern and all-around, enjoyable!

This restaurant was amazing!!! Our waiter Patrick was very attentive and kind. He made great suggestions on dinner options. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We almost never get out without the children so this was extra special for us. The cost was very reasonable and the food was superb. Desserts were to die for. Next time we are in st Stephen’s we will be eating here.

The food was great. I had the seafood chowder and the fish and chips.I loved the haddock fried in cornflakes. It gave a little crunch but was not heavy or greasy like traditional fish and chips batter. The service was excellent, with a friendly and helpful waiter. This is my second time eating at 5 Kings and I will definitely eat there again any time I return to St. Stephen.

Been here twice now and both times I was happy with my order. The menu seemed to be entirely different on each visit so that was nice.

Great place to stop in St.Stephen— some of the best food in town. You are safe to get the burgers of course— they are great— but also recommended are some of the less obvious choices— kale salad and arancini were great! Good service, generous portions— highly recommended

Great restaurant, but don't go if you are expecting quick or cheap food. I personally like the burger the most, but everything I have tried is great. My only critique would be that it has a little bit of an echo, but not a big deal. 10/10, would recommend if you stop by the area.

Loved the atmosphere of this restaurant, it is set in an old railway station which has been renovated. The two waitresses were very friendly but the food service was slow. Our favourite item on the menu was the pickles & cream cheese in wonton wrapping - they were very tasty!

Absolutely amazing

Very delicious food! The Chicken and Waffles was great, but messy to eat ;) drinks were excellent, strongly recommend their house Ceasar. The Goddess pasta was exquisite, with just enough bacon to make the dish naughty. There are vegetarian options on the menu, and keep a weater eye out as the menu changes.
