Everything about this place was excellent. The location, rooms and facilities including the swimming pool are superb and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend ordering the evening meal which was amazing on both of the nights we stayed. Includes local ingredients and home made bread etc at a very reasonable price.

We stayed in this lovely B&B with our son and his family which included a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old. We had a fantastic time! Besides being a lovely alpine chalet-style home, our son’s room had a loft area complete with toys for the children. The hosts provided crib and highchair for our use which made our stay so much easier. Outside, there was a huge yard complete with a running brook, a bench swing, and a patio area to relax on after the adventures of the day. The home is conveniently located near Lake Aiguebelette and a short drive to Chambery. We even found a Roman road nearby for a nice hike at Les Voies de L’Epine. The breakfasts were very good. We had dinner there the first night where we met a wonderful French couple and had fun getting to know each other through Google translate—it was a fun evening. Thanks to Patricia and Nicholas for being very available and answering our many questions. We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area!

We regret we only had one night to spend at this charming B&B. The delightful decor (clearly enormous effort was expended to restore this 16th Century farmhouse) was complemented by the superior service and generous attention of hosts Nicolas and Patricia. We hope to return!

La Bageatiere is a wonderful mid 1800s farm house. It features 4 couple sized bedrooms with showers. The morning breakfast consists of several local hand pressed juices as well as fresh coffee. Along with that you are served French toast, baguette fresh jam/jelly and butter as well as two freshly baked croissants. The location is Lepin-le-lac

Lovely little inn with beautiful gardens. For dinner, a „table d‘hôtes“ option is possible, but we hadn’t taken advantage of it. We booked a larger room to fit a children’s bed (which they provided). The room itself was cozy and comfortable. The lush gardens, which feature a small pool area as well, are probably the best feature. There are options for badminton and pétanque, as well as a swing that our daughter loved. Patricia and Nicolas were perfect hosts; they made sure we were not lacking anything. We asked if we could picnic on the grounds, which wasn’t a problem, and Patricia even prepared a tray with plates, cutlery, glasses and napkins that we could use.
