Enjoyed my stay until... 100 euros went missing from my suitcase and MiHotel's emergency line did not go through to a member of staff - this is the same line you have to use if there's an issue gaining access to your apartment which is worrying. The cash had been hidden deep within my suitcase which I closed every day before leaving my apartment meaning someone rifled through my belongings. When I discovered that it was missing, I tried calling the MiHotel emergency line just after midnight since I was checking out the next day and it does not have a reception. I really loved the apartment and service up until that point but how a hotel handles this type of situation is really telling. When I contacted them via email to flag both theft and emergency line that did not work, I received no response until I left a voicemail. After I received a less than satisfactory response via a vaguely apologetic email that referred to the situation as a "misunderstanding" and the theft as an "inconvenience" and no response regarding the emergency line being out of use, I contacted them again to clarify what steps were being taken to prevent this happening in future. 3 working days later and I've not heard back. It's true that I need to be more careful with my valuables (although I've had issues using hotel safes before) but when this type of situation occurs you'd expect there to be more considerate and thorough follow-up with your customer. I guess at that point they've got your money and no longer need to worry about your experience. Disappointed to say the least.

We are very disappointed with our stay at Rue August Comte. We had booked the suite Cachette. The first thing to know here is that it is not a hotel, but an offshoot and more of an Airbnb. You can hardly find the room on your own. It is located in an old house in the back. There is no reception or staff here. The staircase is not lit, so you have to walk up the stairs in the dark. The door can hardly be closed properly. The room is small, the TV does not work. You can hear the neighbors very well when you listen to music. Then there is the skylight. It has curtains next to the bed, but they don't close completely. Accordingly, it is very bright in the room very early. We will definitely not spend the night here anymore.

Bonjour! What started out as an amazing birthday trip was ruined from this hotel experience. My friends and I were celebrating a 40th birthday in France. We visited Paris, Champagne, and then Lyon. During our second day in Lyon, we had an all day wine tour so we were going to be gone from our room all day. We specifically put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door because we did not want anyone entering the room. We had purchases from Paris and we wanted them extra secure. When we came back later that evening, 2 of us were missing cash from our suitcase. It was anywhere from 600 to 700 dollars that was missing. I contacted the concierge by phone because there is not one onsite. I asked her to please check the cameras because we had a do not disturb sign and no one was supposed to come into our room. They said they would investigate the situation and then get back to us. I finally received an email from Juliette Duc stating that they asked the cleaning service and they did enter the room to check the beverage consumption from the mini bar the night before. She admitted that someone entered our room even though there was a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door. I would have much rather disputed a mini bar charge then have all of that money stolen from us. What an invasion of privacy!! She was very unsympathetic and pretty much blamed us for having our money taken. I will not be recommending this hotel to ANYONE that wants to travel to Lyon. It was such a shame because everything else about Lyon was great. 0 out of 10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

We stayed in the suite Hyggelig at 5 Bellecour. It's a beautiful modern apartment that sleeps 5 people. We had an issue with wifi when we arrived and when I called about it, it was swiftly sorted. It's in a great location and it's quiet. The only issue I had was the safe didn't work and seems flimsey so just to be aware of how you secure your belongings.

The decor of the suite is stylish and clean, you have everything you need for your stay. Your privacy is totally respected as there are no staff except housekeeper inside the building. Hidden in a quiet and comfortable neighbour with modern equipment . The staff are also very nice and quite helpful. A wonderful and new experience that will assure for a second visit.

very nice room, very clean, nice settings and everything working perfectly. A few areas of improvements however especially when compared to hotels at a similar price: 1/ the door of the room does not really protect from noise and light coming from the corridor (able to hear neighbours coming in and out, lights in the corridor switched on 24h a day and visible from the flat), 2/ the bathroom set was not replaced everyday and had to ask the cleaner to add new ones... Except from that, it was a very pleasant stay with a great flexibility from the team to keep our luggage until early check in! Thanks

Very good location. Took a taxi from Gare de Lyon Part Dieu around 13 euro. Walking distance to the old town, shops and restaurants. Nice room with kitchen and table sets. Very friendly staff. The only downside is check in from 5pm. But you can drop off the luggage in the office which is around 5 mins walk from the hotel. Highly recommended and will book again in next visit.

A wonderful room with a great location. Everything in the room has the best quality. Room is beyond the 5 star hotel rooms. The one thing it is not easy to find the room. Clear explanations or pictures should be better. Since it took 20 minutes to find the room for us.

The ladies that work in the main office were extremely polite and helpful. They went well beyond expectations and even assisted me with some personal business that they were in no way obligated to concern themselves with. They had flowers delivered and personally escorted me to the suite when I had trouble finding the address. On that note, look for Rue de Sainte Helene which is what Place de Guilleton becomes. Once you find it, you won't want to leave this little slice of heaven. The suite was stunning! By far the single nicest, most comfortable facility I have stayed in after 40 years of world travel, no exaggeration. If you visit Lyon, the MiHotel is a must. Next time in Lyon, I will stay with MiHotel exclusively, I only wish Is had found them sooner.

A bit tricky to find but very well situated. The door is bit old and sometimes the code doesn't seem to work. The appartement is amazing. Very spacy, clean and modern.

When we arrived suite Hyggelig, we noticed there was a electric fan in our “suite”. Later on, I noticed the AC was set to 18C full blast but no cool air coming out. I have tried to contact Mi hotel for more than hour using my cellphone since there is no phone for service in their property. After about an hour of calling, the front desk person told me the AC should be turned on by a tablet which was not on or charged from the wall. That was 31C that day in Lyon. Mi hotel did not offer room switching but offered 30% off on the original price. Please keep that in mind this hotel does not have traditional service staff and in case you have any issue and I am not sure they will not able to help you since they don’t have regular maintenance person on-site. At the end, they brought us three fans and we left this hotel as soon as possible next day.
