We are really happy of this place. It's so cool! Nice and friendly staffs (Pasty morning shift and Lèo afternoon shift.) The room it is standard so clean and cool. You got everything that you need. Im feeling like a private cinema room. Many New movies but we have no times to watch as we need to explore the city😅. The breakfast are so good really. Nice bar nice cocktail and the dinner was perfect I had Tataki it's really tasty😋 Near the metro easy to go anyplace Mama shelter love you 😍

Staff was very nice and helpful, food was equally as good, rooms were clean and modern.

The Mama Shelter concept created by Serge Trigano (club med founder) Philip Stark design, taken over by Accor hotel group has successfully grown up. Some “uniformity” had to be done but the spirit remains especially among the staff. Keep on going. Food @ mama shelter Lyon is excellent

We were happy to stay in this hotel. There is a parking for electric cars, pets are allowed, the breakfasts was amazing. The space is nice and cozy. In my opinion it would be nice to educate the staff. We felt uninformed in some aspects (about the parking), we ordered coffee and the staff forgot about it. We are planning to visit other mama shelters in the world :)

Nice rooms, you have everything you would need for a short stay in Lyon. Everything is very clean, the service is great and friendly. You also have a nice TV in the room with a selection of free movies. It has a very convenient location next to a metro station so you can be in the city centre within 20 minutes. They also have a nice garage if you come with a car (pay per day). It is very convenient that you also have a nice bar and a good restaurant inside the hotel that work until late (midnight) and it is very lively in the evenings (you can’t hear any noise from your rooms though, if it’s something you worry about). The hotel overall is located at a very convenient location in the city and the staff is very nice. However that being said the building itself is very strange. Starting from the parking, there is only elevator to get to the reception, No stairs, and since the elevator also goes all the way upto the rooms it’s almost always busy and the wait time is very long. The rooms are wannabe motel rooms with a sink and fringe curtain which made no sense The concept of shower gel had no reached to the hotel. When it came to breakfast it was something like 25 bucks per person but the highlight was the egg station only. Besides that the cups were chipped and the coffee was worse than gas station coffee. For a $300 per night it was not an experience worth it.

What an amazing find. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient - I asked for a foam pillow and four were in my room on my return (there's no Hilton anywhere that has ever happened). Breakfast had an incredible range of choices from salad to omelettes made to order. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Exceptional value. I'll definitely try to come back

I haven’t stayed at the hotel yet but after requesting to change the room dates due to a bereavement, the staff requested I send a death certificate to proove it which I find pretty low taste in all honestly. Especially as I’m trying to change the dates rather than cancel - disgusting lack of empathy.

Nice and clean hotel with a trendy vibe! We had nice cocktails on the Rooftop and a good dinner as well (unfortunately the terrace wasn’t open). Location is a bit off, but we didn’t mind the walk.

The hotel is good located near to the Jean Macé neighborhood. It is just some minutes walking distances to the Rhoné or the Musée des Confluences - it’s a student area and it doesn’t have so many bars around. The Mama Shelters Bar on the groundfloor or on the rooftop is cool!

3 of us stayed for 3 nights during the rugby world cup. We had a great dinner on our first night, enjoyed breakfast each morning and were impressed by the bar.

Hip hotel, child friendly with a great brunch.The rooms aren't huge but the layout is great so there is space. I was surprised that they didn't ask for pass sanitaire prior to eating but maybe it's not required in hotels?

Cool place – the mix of very different people made us feel welcome. Perfect location for a fun stay in Lyon.
