Don’t be fooled by the name… it is a work of art done painstakingly over months every year. One of the most unique experiences and mostly certainly worth it if you can withstand the cold. If you are staying overnight it’s a very expensive room. Otherwise just visiting is fine too. Only caution would be to dress up appropriately, especially shoes. There is a lot to see and if not dressed properly it could be a problem.

Absolutely stunning. The amount of work and detail going into everything is spectacular. Every wall, corner, table is beautiful. Did not spend the night but visited during the day a few times and each time was still amazed by the hotel. The drinks were unique in the ice block glass, but really overpriced. One of those you-gotta-try-it-once kind of purchases.

A-one of a kind experience that is very unique. The place was much larger than I initially expected, and I definitely did not anticipate the amount of detailed carvings on the walls inside. From ice sculptures to snow paintings, it's definitely not something you would see ever in a traditional hotel. I believe this year's theme was mythology, and they did a good job representing various mythological figures from different cultures. However the rooms were cold, obviously, and I probably would not want to sleep there for a night. The toilets also have a lot to be desired, as there's only a few portable toilets scattered throughout. On the plus side, they have heating in them. I bought an entrance ticket for viewing. While expensive, it's definitely worth the experience.

The entrance to just browse is quite pricey (~17$). Would prefer it around 10. But otherwise walking around the area was super nice. You can see the bar, the hotel rooms. Every interior wall has beautiful and quirky decorative snow artwork and ice sculptures scattered about. There are a few fireplaces outside as well to warm up. I wish the hot tubs and saunas were also included in the price haha! There are signs distributed throughout describing what the process would be like if you chose to stay for one night. Informative and aesthetically pretty!

The hotel is a nice attraction, with a nice environment. The carvings and sculptures with different themes were nice. There were sculptures like a small space Mobil for people to sit and take photos too. A small(mini) ice slide within the premises was nice to see. The lighting for photos was a little lacking as the lights were only there for decoration. Hence phones with good sensitivity will be able to get better photos and cameras will tend to need higher ISO settings for photos. The rooms had very colourful, interesting carvings and themes which in my opinion was the best attraction. There was a bar but unfortunately it was closed. There is a single glass covered fire spot to try and warm your hands. The glass is either too thick or the environment is too cold to absorb even a little bit of heat. It's a nice and different experience to witness what is possible with ice.

Very well maintained hotel, with lots of amenities, hot tubs saunas. Important to watch the cold weather video if staying overnight and wear synthetic fabrics. The overnight low was -23°C and we were cozy in our sleeping bags. Amazing experience.

Amazing. Beautiful art every place you look. The amount of work and detail in a the ice furniture, walls, statues, and the bar. The lighting and sounds add to it all. We visited on a day pass, and did not stay overnight. The drinks in an ice glass and a rest on an ice bench, colorfully lit, with music playing is a unique experience I will not soon forget. I tried to see every single room but surely missed something. An employee told me the ice hotel is built again every year, and I look forward to future visits to see all the new carvings and artistry.

Such a cool place! We visited on the last possible day of the season 2023. Plenty of parking in the area, but again it was getting off season. The Hotel de Glacé itself was so cool getting to walk around. Everything is made out of ice! We ordered a drink at the ice bar that comes with your beverage in an ice sculpted glass. There’s lots of other activities at this location, especially for kids! Dress warmly!

Spectacular presentation in all the different rooms. The originality of each room makes one even better than the other. The staff is welcoming and even offered to take pictures of us in front of the hotel. The bar was nice and the choices offered are really interesting at reasonable prices. Truly surprising that this is the ONLY ics hotel in North America (see picture). This was an interesting fact about the place!

An experience unlike any other! For anyone who has not tried this or has ever experienced anything like this I would highly recommend it! I stayed here with my parents and we did the overnight stay in the Hotel de Glace. It was such a unique adventure and although it was cold it was definitely worth it. All the details put into making this were so intricate and beautiful. If I could I would go back every year to see what new designs and sculptures are created!

Without question, visiting this attraction was one of the most AMAZING experiences of my life! It was simply amazing to walk through an entirely outdoor hotel, made just from ice, surrounded by unique ice sculptures, ice light fixtures, ice furniture, ice-enclosed appliances & electronics, etc. It's surreal! There's even cocktail bar serving beer, wine, & liquor -- made entirely of ice! The drinkware and shot glasses are made of ice! It's simply AMAZING! The tables, made of ice! They have fur placemats and fabric cushions laid on top of the tables/furniture to help prevent melting and keep things comfortable for the patrons. And when in need of a little warm up, there are outdoor hot tubs/jacuzzis, and an outdoor hot cocoa hut to help take the cold edge off! This place is AMAZING! An absolute must visit! Not to mention, the surrounding area features snow-tubing slides and other snow sports, a conventional indoor hotel with waterpark area, gift shop, restaurant(s), and more! Snow-covered hills as far as the eye can see!

This attraction popped up as one of the top rated winter activities to see in Quebec. It was absolutely worth coming to see it. Great for all ages. Make sure to bundle up and dress appropriately as it is extremely cold here. The tickets were $29.99 per adult US dollars and worth it. You're able to go at your own pace. Due to the pandemic the Ice Bar was shut down but everything else was open. The art work and themes in the Ice Rooms were very impressive. I was happy this was part of my first time in Canada experience.

An extraordinary escape into a winter wonderland! The Ice Hotel in Quebec surpassed all expectations. The crystalline beauty under the Northern Lights is a breathtaking sight. The intricate ice sculptures and thoughtfully designed ice furniture inside are true masterpieces. Accommodations, though chilly, were surprisingly cozy with thermal sleeping bags and fur-lined bedding. The ice bar, serving drinks in ice glasses, and the restaurant with seasonal delights on ice-carved tables added a delightful touch to the experience. The array of activities, from ice sculpting workshops to dog sledding, kept us enthralled throughout our stay. The camaraderie among guests embracing the frosty ambiance added a special charm. The staff's dedication to creating a magical experience was evident in every detail. Their warmth and hospitality in the midst of sub-zero temperatures were commendable. While the Ice Hotel is not for the faint of heart, it offers a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for those seeking a unique and unforgettable escape. Embrace the cold, and the Quebec Ice Hotel promises an enchanting journey into a frosty dreamland. Highly recommended! ❄️🏰

The hotel is magical. I am frugal and was skeptical of the ticket price, but it was totally worth it. The ice sculptures in the main building were fantastic. Each of the 25 hotel rooms is a work of art, designed by a different sculptor. My wife and I spent a pleasant 2.5 hours here while our kids were snow tubing.

Amazing and beautiful. The tour took an hour, to see it all (and savor it). A chapel made of ice! Also, when we went in February 2020, there was a “play room” with ice slides. The kids loved it. A truly spectacular place. Go!!!

Google says I visited the Ice Hotel a couple of days ago. Only problem is we are in the middle of summer here... 5 stars for funny notification

An awesome overnight experience in the hotel, worth the drive. The team prepares you well and the site is well maintained. The Nordic Spa is a great way to wind down your day. The bar and chapel were great after 9p, so much less busy than during the day. For overnight one or two synthetic layers are plenty. The sleeping bags are warm, and it was very quiet and peaceful overnight had a great stay with the entire family.

Incredible exhibition that would memerise you. A great way to learn some cool science. Ice is after all not that cold when you are in -10C. Would recommend to visit it at least for once.

We went during the holidays and there wasn't enough staff on hand at the 2 restaurants that were open. We walked into the Safari restaurant and no one would seat us or even speak to us. At the sports bar, there were only 2 people working at the bar and one cook. They were working at an incredibly slow pace and people were walking away from the place because they couldn't get service. A woman at the bar sent her food back because it was undercooked. Lots of staff at the snow tubing area. Ice Hotel looked very interesting.

We visited this Quebec Ice hotel and the photos don't quite capture the jaw-dropping beauty and the incredible craftsmanship behind this ice marvel. Enjoying a drink at the ice bar was a delightful experience, made even cooler by the friendliest bartender serving us in ice mugs! It's such a unique touch. Still, if you happen to be in Quebec when the hotel is open, do yourself a favor and check it out. Highly, highly recommended!

An unforgettable experience that you must try. Get the tickets online as they were cheaper than buying at the kiosk. You would need to spend atleast 2-3 hours to enjoy the experience. Worth spending money on entry tickets to support the efforts put out by the ice sculptors. Maple taffies, trying out drinks at the ice bar from an ice glass, picturesque location. Everything were wonderful. Just make sure that you are nicely layered and properly equipped to enjoy

We drove for more than ten hours to come visit Hotel de Glace, and it was so worth it! It is spectacular ✨️ Every sculpture, every room is a work of art. I would like to call it an 'architectural and artistic wonder.' It is truly an experience worth having. Definitely recommended. Must visit!!

What an adventure to sleep inside of this beautiful masterpiece of sculptures, beauty and snow. I wouldn't want to have missed this opportunity and thoroughly recommend that everyone gives it a try. It's such a magnificent place to visit and stay. I loved my trip to the winter wonderland that is Hotel de Glace!

Amazing!!! The ingenuity, patience to detail and artisanship on display here is extremely rare in this digital age. I have no idea who created this masterpiece but their focused love and dedication to the task is an example of what we truly need but are sadly are unwilling to devote to… All to to be swept away with a warm breeze… and then to plan and begin again… Sweet!

One of the coolest experiences you will have the privilege of visiting in North America! Each room is sculpted to the finest detail by highly skilled artists. Definitely not to be missed while in season.

We spent 2 nights in the ice hotel & it was epic for us! Would totally do it again. If you love the winter & cold this must be on your bucket list! The ice hotel is a work of art. So much to look at. Tube sledding on sight was also 1st class - so much fun!

Amazing experience. Recommended! We got a room with a private hot tub, well worth the extra $! It stayed 3°f for us but we hardly felt cold because of the amazing sleeping bags. I didn't even put on the extra layers I thought I might need.

Wow!! If you are adventurous like my wife, son, and I and love once in a lifetime experiences this is a must to add to your bucket list! We had the best time! The hotel was magnificent, the artwork insane! The regular room you get with your ice room was amazing!! We went for our 9 year anniversary and was not disappointed one bit! We picked a theme room and when I walked into our room I was floored! Just beautiful! Thank you so much for an amazing experience we will never forget ♥️ Highly recommend!

The place is so fascinating I Went along with my friends, it was all of a sudden plan. I was really mesmerized visiting the ice hotel for the first time that I can’t even take my eyes off. Everything in the hotel is well organized, especially the rooms in the hotel, every room has a different background theme. The carvings and detail throughout the hotel is outstanding.

Very interesting vacations spot. I Definitely recommend visiting the hotel rooms. The artwork and creativity involved is amazing. The entrance was difficult to find. The signage did not make it clear how the entrances work or what the ticketing boots were for. I was also disappointed to see the ticketing booths outside in the cold while the interior had a lot of empty space.

Do you wanna build a … hotel? Sitting in south Florida in the heat while I plan my next winter vacation, so here’s a throwback to a Thanksgiving vacation from a few years ago. We visited Quebec City, Quebec, Canada and took a drive over to the Ice Hotel @hoteldeglace at @villagevacancesvalcartier ! It was really fun getting a tour of a hotel completely built with ice - everything from the walls, stairs, beds, and artwork! At the end, we got to shape our own glasses out of ice and had some cocktails out of them.
