This
modern
decorated
hotel
is
located
in
the
old
industrial
zone
of
Lyon.
You
would
expect
some
kind
of
parking
space
when
booking
a
hotel
not
in
the
city
center.
Unfortunately
they
don't
have
that,
and
the
public
parking
spaces
next
to
the
hotel
are
considered
not
safe,
especially
with
foreign
linceceplates.
The
hotel
suggests
to
park
in
the
shopping
mall
Confluence
at
10
minute
walk.
They
said
it
would
be
around
€25
for
the
night.
When
we
picked
up
the
car
after
1
night
(parked
from
13h-10h)
we
came
to
the
unpleasant
surprise
of
having
to
pay
€50!
That
was
not
the
purpose
of
choosing
a
budget
friendly
hotel
😳
For
the
second
night
we
choose
to
park
with
the
app
OnePark
in
a
nearby
neighborhood
for
just
€10.
The
rooms
are
a
little
small,
but
fine.
The
room
could
have
been
cleaner;
we
noticed
stains
in
the
drinking
glass
in
the
bathroom,
unknown
smudges
on
the
tissue
box
and
some
mold
in
the
shower.
With
the
wooden
shutters
closed,
we
had
no
issues
with
the
railways
next
to
the
room.
The
toilet
is
located
in
the
room,
devided
with
a
glass
door
which
does
not
cover
the
entire
door,
making
it
very
conscious
when
someone
is
using
the
toilet...
The
restaurant
can
cook
really
well,
especially
the
cakes
and
pies!
We
were
missing
something
like
slices
of
cheese
or
ham
to
put
on
the
bread
for
breakfast.
Also
we
thought
that
it
was
a
bit
pricey;
€35
excluding
drinks
for
the
special
Sunday
lunch
buffet
(the
burgers
were
delicious!)
Or
€8
for
0.5L
of
draftbeer.
Conclusion;
a
nice
and
modern
hotel,
with
very
friendly
staff.
But
if
you
are
traveling
budget
friendly,
the
expensive
parking
challenges
and
the
costs
of
going
to
the
city
center
might
have
us
considering
choosing
a
hotel
more
in
the
city
center
next
time.
