👍 Very interesting with pleasant gardens. Much focused on Napoleon. What caught my attention the most was the little dig at the governor of Saint Helena who considered Napoleon a prisoner. That's what he was in and of himself.

A visit rich in information to learn more about the castle and those who contributed to its influence. A very good guide who took care to show us the specificities of the place as well as its secrets.

A fascinating museum of Josephine's and Napoleon's home, housing personal items for both. Various important events of his imperial reign happened in his private library.

Incredible collection of paintings, sculpture and decorative objects in a remarkable and unique chateau. Also, at the moment, there is a very interesting exhibition about Napoleon's exile in St. Helena. Nice little gift shop with quality gifts. All attendants and staff very polite and helpful. Well worth a visit.

Rather lovely, with a fantastic collection of artifacts. A little more context to some of the collection would be nice. But well worth the trip.

I enjoyed walking the gardens even in winter. Beautiful and meditative. Our guide was fabulous, but I could have moved through in one fourth the time.
