This place was an absolute dream. One of my favorites of the places we have visited and rightly earns a spot in my top 5 favorite hotels in the world. From the views to the rooms nothing disappoints here. Walking to the farmers market one of the mornings we were there was the icing on the cake. The location is also optimal, on the beach, close to Cassis and the gateway to rose country! We visited with our 17 year old son and he also very much enjoyed the paddle boards, food, and views! Planning to return in June for a 2nd visit!

This is a beautiful hotel in a beautiful, calm setting on a lovely small Bandol bay on the Mediterranean Sea. If you can, take their villa suite room with a private terrace; the space and finishes are splendid and you will be entranced by the lapping sound of cool waters and soft breezes plus get a private entrance to the beach below. This is paradise on the Cote d’Azure!

Le Splendide Hotel is truly splendid. The hotel is beautiful and situated right on the water. Our room was very elegant and modern. The staff are wonderful. The hotel is less than 10 min walk to the port where there are many restaurants and shops.

Beautiful location, charming small hotel. Breakfast good. Nicely decorated and very clean small room. Parking service a bit disappointing, had to pay for an extra day when arriving 1,5 hrs before check in time.

An excellent boutique hotel with friendly efficient staff . Wonderful views and high spec. We visited as part of a trip to the 2023 Rugby World Cup with friends and had a great time. We would certainly stay again if visiting that part of France

Truly splendid in every sense! Elegantly decorated in Art Deco style, located literally at the edge of the sea in a quiet little bay, this unique hotel is the most wonderful place to relax and enjoy the (less busy part of) Cote d' Azur. Sea access is just a staircase away, sandy beach a minute walk, and center of Bandol 6 min walk with many good restaurants. Everything is arranged thoughtfully and flawlessly to the smallest detail. Beautiful and comfortable rooms with sea view, good bed, nice breakfast served on a balcony over the sea, complimentary minibar replenished daily, sunbeds in the garden, beach shoes, towels, indoor pool that can be booked for private use, and so on. All the comforts of a 4* hotel and some more. But the true stars are the staff, so friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome right away and ready to assist with any request. There are not many places like this, and we feel lucky to have discovered it. Would be very happy to return!

Stayed here from July 16-19 and it was one of the best hotel experiences of my life. Beautiful, well-kept hotel in an amazing location right on (technically IN) the bay. The staff was great, especially the managers Provence and Max who went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Their attention to detail and to their guests was impressive-they noticed how little my daughter eats at breakfast and refused to charge us for hers, which is something that no other hotel has ever done. If I get to go back to France again this would be my first choice for where I would want to stay!

Great service, amazingly helpful staff, classic hotel with stunning views over Bandol. Would definitely come here again. Not so much for your children to do. - unless you walk to the beach next door.

Beautiful hotel exceeding our expectations. Tastefully decorated rooms, great terrace with comfy sun beds, direct sea access and very attentive staff.

Lovely hotel with great view, elegant decor, attentive service, pool, hammam, and lobby bar. Unusually, everything works, which is not true of all French hotels!
