Love the view of the restaurant. Small town has a good place to dine in

We had lunch the other day here. The restaurant was packed. The food is delicious, yet not too pricy. The service is very prompt and the servers are extremely friendly. When you first come here, you may find it crammed. But if you keep coming, there is this consistency of friendliness that I really like about this restaurant.

Good food, nice overview somewhat expensive as everything in Switzerland. 2 persons, apéro, 1 bottle wine, 1 bottle sparkling water, 2 salads and 2 main plates: Fr 148.- ($ 152.- and € 136.50)

Pizza was great. Very nice outdoor sitting. Service a tiny bit slow. Nice selection of food (Inc kangaroo, Fondo, Italian food etc).

We are visiting St. Sulpice and went to dinner at Le Skipper the other night - the food, service and atmosphere were fantastic! I ordered a Portuguese specialty dish that was truly one of the most savory meals I have ever eaten. There were lots of local patrons - always a good sign. Very friendly staff that helped us get by with our poor command of the French language. Highly recommended.

Extremely disappointed, have been their long time client but the quality has dropped a lot, it was like our food was drowned in the oil. The service was also astonishingly bad, the server made several mistake on our orders, like bringing the large menu without checking with us, of course couldn't finish it but had to pay anyway, to top it up had to pay 4 bucks for two glasses of tap water! Won't be returning!

Great food, friendly service, wonderful view of the lake from terrace. Reasonably priced, best book your table as can be very busy especially at lunch times!

The view from the terrace was lovely but most tables around us were smokers. Pizza was very average at best - I think 'bought in" bases. Not a place I'll return to.

Always a busy place, the Skipper is one of the best food options in the area. We had a Steak ardoise menu, which came with 2 very good pieces of meat. Staff is very friendly. Ensure to reserve!

Visiting the region for 4 day's, stopped by yesterday for a quick beer. Back today for a bigger one. Didn't eat, can't say but the neighbours food looked ok.

fabulous views and decent food, not spectacular but the views make up for it
